But the flavors weren't bad at all, they were well seasoned , good portions, and their flour tortillas were yummy. I was disappointed with their sope. I don't go often but when I do it is normally good. Meat did not taste good this time. Had a vinegar taste like the meat was left in the refrigerator too long, not fresh. Went to return, took them over 15 mins to give me a refund, wanted to change me for 5 tacos when I only ate 3. After I used my gas to pick the food and to bring it back. Asked if I wanted another meat, why would I want another meat when the one I wanted was not right. First time here. Place your order, grab and go. When COVID is over I think it has limited high chair seating. Corn in a cup was a first for me and won't be my last. It was really good. The tacos were great. And I had the Tostados which was super good and super filling. Definitely a place to frequent and enjoy anything on the menu. read more

OMG, I really love this little taco spot. They're like "street tacos" but not on the the street. They're actually right next to a gas station and until I just typed that it never bothered me. Hmmmmm. But about the food it's really good. I like they're tacos. But, the sauce is hot as as fire. But it's goooood. Since I've been in Texas seriously cheated on my pescatarian diet.So, I can have like a teaspoon spread all over and a zantac with a ginger ale or Corona to wash it all down. And I like that the meat isn't fatty. It's good and chewable. I don't know if it's the gas fumes that make it so good, cause I was an eccentric kid, I loved the smell of gas. I really liked the Elote too. They made it just right, like when I was a kid begging my mom to buy me one every time I see it at the market. Al Pastor tacos made my heart skip a beat! Their pollo flautas are delicious! Salsa bar has variety, & extremely spicy, which is a huge plus for me as well!! Straight up some of the best tacos in the city. The barbacoa straight up puts me back in my seat. The salsas are all scratch made. I'd recommend the chimmichurri and pineapple habanero first but you can't miss. The verde is solid. The tortillas are excellent. Yes, even the flour. They have a bit of grab when you bite into them. The corn tortillas stay together and don't crack and flake ever. The elote is nuts. Beans and rice are beans and rice but always perfectly cooked. read more

So let me start by saying that I'm from El Paso, and it's very hard to find a good taco to compare to that level of quality anywhere outside of the city. It's a prideful and arrogant thing to say, I know. But El Paso is basically Juarez 2.0, so love me or hate me for it, we KNOW what's up. With that said, I was in Dallas visiting some family and I trusted their judgement when Guanataco Express came up as a recommendation as far as "good tacos" went. It did not disappoint. HOWEVER... EL SERVICIO NO VALE NI PEPE! We called ahead of time to place our order, and the lady over the phone greeted us with such a desultory attitude, didn't bother telling us our total, nor asked for our names. Luckily we had Yelp to guess an estimate of the total price, and we went 10 minutes after ordering. Once we got there, we stepped in and are looked at like we didn't belong there. We didn't receive a greeting, so it made us feel like we were being a burden for even stepping foot inside the door. The man at the register had to be addressed by us in order to pick-up our order. Isn't it supposed to be the other way around? Furthermore, prices apparently changed 3 weeks prior. Would've been pretty great to know that over the phone, or like I mentioned above, been told the total as a form of common courtesy. ‍ Regardless, pricing is still fair and considerate. If you're looking for a good quick fix of taco variety, I recommend this place. I went with the tacos de tripa, y uno de camarón. Yum! It was my first time here. I was visiting my friend in Fort Worth and needed tacos to cure the hangover. Before I go on, this visit was during the Covid 19 reopening so I'm cutting some slack. They offered only take out. I ordered a Milanesa and a variety of tacos. I wasn't sure the tacos would travel well the 12 minute ride to party central and I was right. They're definitely not meant for travel. That's on me. There were good flavors in the shrimp, pastor and milanesa torta. My avocado was over ripe and the salsas didn't have any kick. Look, I go to this place a ton. And most of the food is really delicious. However, about 50% of the time the rice that I order is literally crunchy. It's disgusting. I really like this place and want to give it the credit it deserves. But they need to be more consistent with making fresh cooked rice. I would rather mushy over cooked rice to crunchy rice. So, I've only ordered this on Uber Eats, and I really, really like the food. I can't speak to the restaurant itself. I have ordered chicken tacos and chips & queso. The taco plate comes with rice & beans. The tacos are small on and on a couple of corn tortillas, street taco style. Really good! They also have a variety of hot sauces, be careful because the red one is spicier than it looks. I am really obsessed with good refried beans, and that may be what puts them over the top for me. Despite it being located next to a gas station and its small size I was surprised at the quality of the restaurant. The menu was simple but had a much larger variety of meats than I expected. I got the beef, beef tongue, and chicken tacos which ran about 1.50 each. The tacos were simple with only meat but definitely tasted authentic and homemade! I also got elote which will always be one of my simple pleasures. Overall I think the tacos are good but wish there were more salsas and vegetables available. The place could use a bit of mopping as well and I REALLY hope that they have AC in the future for everyone's sake. With that in mind and only bar seating I would definitely be inclined to get tacos on the go for next time. *update* I come here all the time since it is next to work and the food is delicious. So I'm actually sitting at chicken express in the drive thru looking at yelp. I click the nearby button and I see the name of this place and then I see a cup of elotes pop up in the picture. It's so hot, melt in your mouth and cronchy it's literally insane. Besides that, the bistek burrito is my absolute favorite. It's massive, stuffed with all the goods and so flavorful. Their salsas are to die for. My fave thing to do is rotate between the red and green for each bite. I could eat this stuff 3x a week if calories didn't exist. Must try. No seating, gas station vibes.
