Holy Tacos - Quesa birria and chicken quesadillas with rice and beans - Tacos Near Me - Grand Prairie, Texas

Unfortunately, my experience at Holy Tacos in Grand Prairie was extremely disappointing. When I walked in, there were about seven people waiting for their orders, which I initially took as a good sign. I ordered the quesabirria tacos, along with steak, chicken, and pastor tacos, and waited patiently. Everyone who was there before me received their food, ate, and left while I continued waiting. Several delivery drivers also came in and picked up orders while I was still waiting. At that point, I had been waiting quite a while, but I was still trying to be patient. At one point, a staff member asked if I had ordered. I told her yes, gave her my name, and explained that I had been waiting. She simply said, "Okay," but unfortunately never checked on my order. Eventually, I had been waiting close to an hour, so I went back up and asked about it. One of the employees then grabbed food that had apparently been sitting there since shortly after I ordered. It was cold and clearly had been sitting out for quite some time. I pointed this out, and the staff debated whether they should remake the order. They ultimately decided to remake it, which I appreciated in theory, but unfortunately, the replacement food was just as disappointing. The chicken was old and dry, the beef was tough, and the pastor was rubbery and practically tasteless. After waiting nearly an hour, I expected much better quality and service. **Food: 1/5 ** **Service: 1/5 ** **Ambiance: 1/5 ** I'm always willing to give a restaurant the benefit of the doubt, especially when they're busy, but this experience was far beyond a normal wait time. The biggest issue wasn't just the wait, it was the lack of communication and the poor quality of the food after waiting so long. Unfortunately, I may be waiting a while before deciding to give Holy Tacos another chance. read more

Solid quesabirria tacos. Decent size and the consume had a good flavor to it. Great melt on the cheese and good crunch. Only complaints were that it was a little expensive + the cilantro and onion were on the side. I wish they would've asked me if I wanted them inside or not. They also barely gave enough onion for like 1 taco. read more

Holy Tacos - 3 QUESABIRRIA + RICE & BEANS + CONSOME + SODA - Tacos Near Me - Grand Prairie, Texas

This is not what I was expecting based on the photos on the website. The chicken was mushy and didn't even seem like fresh chicken, it looked and tasted like some frozen chicken out of the bag that was precooked. The fajita beef was dry. The customer service was 5 stars, but the food was not. Maybe I will try something different on the menu one day, because the Barbacoa was really good it was not dry at all. read more

I ordered from here through Uber Eats today for lunch and i don't think its worth the price. The Chips and queso were good although the queso could have been hot, it got hard quickly. The birria tacos, while the tortilla used was delicious, the cheese used it just shredded cheese, not the mexican Oaxaca cheese meant for these tacos. The horchata is ok, very grainy. read more

I placed a pick up order and found parking to be easy. The cashier was friendly and didn't forget anything. I ordered the 3 taco plate with rice, beans, and a can of soda for 13.58 w/taxes. I had two pastor tacos and one barbacoa. The flavor of the pastor was bright and flavorful. The barbacoa was rich and tasty. I was given 3 lemon wedges, one for each taco which added a great deal of depth with the red and green salsas provided. I enjoyed the refried beans a great deal. There was something aromatic in the beans that left a lasting aftertaste that I enjoyed. The rice was plain, neither good nor bad, but nice when mixed with the beans. The soda options were varied, but I opted for a Coke Zero, which I appreciate. I could have used more napkins, however. The tacos were so juicy. I don't think the tiny napkin in the cutlery packet could ever be enough! Glad I took mine home and had an entire roll of paper towels! Try this place! It's so yummy. The red salsa is delicious and thicker than I've found at other taquerias. read more

Some of the best tacos I've ever had, it's in a hidden away part but it's worth it. It looks pretty standard inside and the service was just okay. The tacos were absolutely amazing at a pretty good price. We got 7 tacos, rice, beans and a soda for $24. I like that price a lot. We got 4 fajita tacos in corn and they were some of the best corn tacos I've ever had. I got a pastor taco in flour that was also very good and the barbacoa isn't the kind I usually like but it's very good. This place is definitely worth visiting and it definitely stood out. read more

First time here drove by and saw it had to give it a shot. The place looks new very clean. They have a nice outdoor seating area. The restrooms are super clean as well. I ordered one breakfast burrito and one bean and cheese burrito came out to just a little over $10 not too bad. The bean and cheese burrito is good but definitely could use some salt. But I like salt. The Veggies Egg and Cheese burrito would have been better if they would have put eggs in it but it was packed with veggies. They are a little smaller than a lot of place but for breakfast it's no big deal. The red hot sauce had really good flavor but I think I liked the green more. Will definitely come back to try the Tacos. The staff was friendly and the food came out fast.s read more

Amazing food and customer service was awesome. I definitely one of my favorite spots right now.

The food and the service was amazing. I brought about 15 people in for lunch and they handled us with speed and grace. Fantastic tacos.

They are a decent taco place, the empanadas were good but I would not return here for tacos.

Amazing food. Nice spaced out seats, clean and it has plenty of tv's to watch. Really good tacos!

The large steak fajita quesadilla was great! I was skeptical of this place but I gave them a try and I'm happy that I did bc my quesadilla was really good. I'll be returning for sure! read more

Good little hole in the wall! Had the birria tacos and they were amazing. Also had the quesadilla which was super good too, it just had a little too much cheese. It became overpowering and couldn't taste the meat. Can't forget about the sauces either, tasty and full of flavor! Overall would definitely recommend and will come back to try other stuff. read more

Amazing breakfast tacos. Had them for a work event. While they may be a little higher it's worth it! Employees loved them.

Super yummy and fresh tacos!! We loved the chicken and steak tacos. The queso was really good as well, definitely not from a can that most places offer. Prices were reasonable and food was great! read more

Not very tasteful. Pork was covered in spices and cold. I so wanted this to be good, it is very close to where I live. Service is slow. No atmosphere at all. It is like eating at a convenience store. read more
