You can request different salsas when you order delivery or takeout, but going in person to serve yourself is always best. Their green salsa is my favorite! Convenient because it's close. But I'm writing this to also remind me the nachos here aren't really that good. Compared to last time, they did add more meat. Upgraded the container! I remember thinking that the chips would be soggy though, if I had to travel a long time with the container closed. Packed with ingredients, but lacking in flavor. Wouldn't order again. Around the $14-15 mark. Less than 10 min wait. Maybe around 5-7. Ordered the beef. I'll probably stick to something like tacos. Update on my previous review. The tacos are decent, I liked them better than the torta. They have a fresh little salsa bar that's great, they're open 24/7 and they also have daily deals. Loved that this place is 24-hr and great for late night to-go! I rarely find places for gorditas so this was great to know that they have them when I'm craving them - the pockets were just the perfect crisp. Between my husband and I, we ordered a torta de lengua, gordita and sopes (asado/pastor). Everything could have used a bit more salt/flavor, we really had to hit it hard with lime and salsa for it to taste good. But after that it was pleasant. The vibes however, are great! We had 4 breakfast tacos today from Tacos El 24 first time here. We got the tacos to go. Got 2 bacon egg and cheese and 2 Chorizo egg and cheese. They were okay very large size and cost 3.75 each. The flavor was a little salty for us on all of them. Plenty of bacon more of a meaty bacon. We needed to add salsa for more flavor. The different salsas are very good. Came here the other night and the food made me sick. The people were really nice and it is open 24 hours which is good but I got stomach problems after eating the beef tongue tacos. My boyfriend ordered fajitas and they accidentally gave him tacos. The lady was really nice about it though and gave a free desert to make up for it. All in all I think it depends what you order because he didn't get sick. Last time I came here the staff only spoke Spanish but now they had a girl up front who was bilingual. This was helpful because I don't speak much Spanish. The restaurant is also very cold which isn't the best. I was freezing the whole time sitting in the booth. The food was okay. However, the service from the 2 ladies tonight were not as good as the other location in GP. They forgot our rice and beans for my order and I had to drive 20 minutes back to either get a refund or get my rice/beans. I asked if they could give us anything complimentary since it was such an inconvenience especially with the train and all they did was give us an extra rice. Highly disappointed. I found out bout this place through a TikTok video my brother in law sent me. We decided to give it a try. We tried a variety of tacos. The guy taking the order kept on asking about the order as if he wasn't listening to what I'm saying. My wife for example asked for a plain carne asada taco, and he asked if she wanted tortillas. Then she ordered the three taco plate with two tongue and one asada, they gave her two asada and one tongue and forgot my daughter's plain taco. Carne asada and tortillas were dry. Tripas were a bit chewy. The birria tacos had a funky red color and were stuffed with cheese. Overall just not great as it seemed on TikTok. I will keep trying different places. We found this taco place that is open 24 hours. Ambiance is colorful and Mexican music is on. If you are looking for Keto type tacos without tortillas, this was a winner for us. Service was very friendly and fast. I can't tell you how good tacos with tortilla are, but the fillings were great. We had intestines (tripitas), pork carnitas, seasoned pork (Al pastor), beef fajita, all were great. How to lose a customer in 26 minutes. I live close to this restaurant and finally decided to give it a try. It was a Saturday morning, 10:59 am, only two tables occupied plus some cars in drive through so not super busy. Placed my order for dine in, paid and took a seat. 10 minutes in a family of three comes in, places a to go order and are served their order within minutes. Still, I wait. I see new cars coming in to the drive through and get served and leave. Still waiting. At the 25 minute mark I go to the counter to ask about my food. It's not ready. I politely ask for a refund which is processed quickly and a half hearted apology. Was it because I didn't tip at time of payment? I never tip if I order my food at a counter. Was it a racial issue? Me being white? The family getting fast service was Hispanic as are all the staff. Guess I'll never know, I won't be coming back. I eat out a lot, have a family that does as well, this place could have been mediocre and still gotten regular business from me if the service had been better. read more

The first time I went to Taco Del Mar, it wasn't great. The food was pretty good, but it took forever. There were two cars in front of me in the drive thru, and I was stuck in line for 29 minutes. I was late getting back to work, and I couldn't tell you how the tacos were. The second time was much better, and I really enjoyed it. This last time, was the best. I ordered their carnitas tacos. They were great. The meat was perfectly cooked and nicely crisped. Carnitas need to have that texture. Their green salsa is delicious, though doesn't bring a lot of heat. Onion and cilantro are served separately which I think is a bit weird, but it is there. My only complaint from this last visit, they put the cooked onions under my tacos, making the tortillas wet. After we started eating both of us commented that the food was way salty. Granted, we both are kind of salt sensitive so you may not have the same issue that we did. The tacos were pretty big with lots of filling which is good because they were a little on the pricy side. The tacos were good but not the best that I have ever had. I had absolutely no idea this place existed, though the colors are hard to miss as you pass by. You see, I've been on a bit of a Birria Taco Arlington world tour, so this stop was a refreshing one. Ample parking out front, which is nice. You walk inside, and the cashier is to the right. To the left? A WONDERFUL cooler with delicious salad, pico, cilantro and limes. The prices are very affordable. I had the 3 taco plate, though they offer quesadillas, burritos, chimis and more. The tacos came with rice and beans, and the star of the sides was the beans for me. Now the tacos... One of the best things I've heard said about this place is "lean into the sauces." The sauces in the cooler are delicious, and you get the traditional sauce that accompanies Birria tacos. I found them to be delicious! My first visit was absolutely perfect, but word of warning, the tacos were HOT in temp. The second time I went, what I ultimately received was shredded beef tacos and not Birria, which is not what I ordered. Had I not been in such a hurry I would have remedied it, as the service has always been great, but it was good none the less. At the time of my last visit (July 2023) they weren't yet 24 hours, but I was informed that they are currently staffing up and training, and intend to be before the end of the summer.
