A very fun dining experience. It's all about Tacos and some other intriguing south of the border dishes. The exterior and interior are entertaining with cunning and funny art work. This is an order at the counter and you get the little number buzzer. There is a separate counter only for order on line and pick up. Seems to very organized. My sponsor ordered Flautas Pollo. I ordered Burrito Chile Relleno. Unlike most Tex Mex restaurants, you order chips and salsa separately, it does not come complimentary. On the other side, they have a self serve salsa bar. The flavors are unique and I guess authentic, again not Tex Mex. The salsa we ordered was mild. The one salsa we sampled from the open Salsa Bar was too hot for our ability to devour. We met up with my cousin here after seeing all the rave reviews -- and wow, everyone was right. We rolled in around 7:40pm on a Sunday and the place was packed. It's first-come, first-serve, so we scoped out a table and only waited about 10 minutes. Not bad for a busy night. We ordered two taco plates: one carnitas, one bistec. Both were absolutely killer -- solid 5/5. I also appreciate that they use grilled onions instead of the raw, tear-inducing kind. Bless them for that. Took my daughter for taco and she rated them a 4/5. Service was pretty quick for the amount of people inside. Went around 3 on Saturday so it was busy. We didn't like our drinks but that's ok. We forgot that Guantaco opened up closer to us so we popped in for a last minute dinner decision. This new space is located near the bowling alley and is pretty spacious with plenty of seating. Staff handles the orders quickly. They kept their signature salsa bar and the variety on their menu. Prices are also reasonable for their dishes with the larger dishes being a bit pricier but still worth the portions. Gorditas tasted just as good as I remembered and were super filling! The chilaquiles was a good size that we had to take the rest to go as well as the 10 taco combo since the tacos were filled too! Love that they opened a location nearby and have kept up with the same quality and pricing as the original location. read more

I've heard good reviews about it on IG & read the reviews on Yelp before going to the restaurant. Everyone online said it was super good. We walked in & the atmosphere was chill. They have a big menu we didn't really know what to get so we got tacos & nachos for appetizer. The nachos were 1/10. The cheese wasn't even good. It had a lot of beans & the chips were bland. I got the salsas which they have a lot of options & the salsas were 10/10! Pretty good. The only thing is that they need to work on adding more flavor to their meats. The fajita & chicken didn't have sazón. It didn't taste good. The barbacoa was okay but not great. They need to make sure to cook the tortilla well... it literally tasted like the heated up the tortilla in the microwave, at least add a little bit of oil or heat it up correctly. The taco plate does come with rice & beans together in one container whenever I picked up my food I asked the lady if she could put them separately & she kindly did. I ended up trying the chocoflan which was 10/10 tbh, it better be for almost being $7 a slice. The al pastor was a greasy mess -- poor flavor and didn't look like it came off a trompo. Even the cooked onions tasted old. Got an horchata that didn't even look right in color but wanted to give it a chance and just as it looked- it was super watered down.
