I was craving menudo & my ex-husband said I should try it at Tacos Azteca. Aside from my father's homemade menudo, theirs is hands down the best tasting menudo & no fatty aftertaste which is a very good sign. It comes w/diced onions, finely chopped cilantro, chili flakes, salsa which has a delicious bite, a couple of slices of lime & 4 warm corn tortillas. I poured the menudo into my bowl, which is 2.5 quarts/85 oz, so it is definitely more than enough for 2 people. W/the weather getting cold, it is definitely something I would order again. read more

Caldo de res 5/10 I came here last year and was looking for a spot to get some caldo. On my way to one of my offices, this place popped up. As soon as I walked into the building I remembered I had been here before. The caldo broth had a good vegetable flavor. Not the best caldo I've had around DFW but it hit the spot. The place closes at 12 am and we arrived around 11:45 pm. The workers were happy to see us still and gave us a great variety of options. We got the tacos and quesadillas and both were amazing, the portions were good and this place is not stingy with their meat! will definitely come back. read more

We were in search of late night food after the Jo Koy comedy show and found this place. It's attached to a gas station, with limited seating, but good food. The tacos and sopes are good and topped with more than enough meat. The meat is flavorful and not over cooked. The salsa's have a kick and perfect on top of anything. We weren't expecting their burrito to come smothered in queso, but it did, which we weren't a fan of. Food comes out pretty quickly. They do have a drive thru if you don't want to do dine in. read more

The food is so delicious and authentic, the chicken tacos are my favorite and their portion sizes are big. Once you walk up to the counter or pull up to the window they immediately take your order. My new favorite taco place!!!! We were both craving tacos late one night. Didn't feel like driving all the way to Dallas, I was glad to find Tacos Azteca still open, a quick fix here we come! From the reviews, I thought it was going to be tiny and located inside a gas station. They do attach to a gas station, but it's much bigger, cleaner than I thought. Surprisingly, the gas station was already closed that night, while Tacos Azteca still opened past midnight (they close at 2am on Friday and Saturday, not 24hours like what it says on Yelp). The restaurant is pretty much self-serve. You order at the counter, pick a table. They call out your food when it's ready. You come up and pick up the food. I love the fact that they have tons of blistered serrano peppers at the ordering counter for you to get as many as you want!!! And yes, serrano! NOT jalapeno! So much better kick! I've had better flavor tacos elsewhere, but I love how lean their tacos are, not greasy at all, neither are their churros. For good, authentic tacos, I'll for sure be back here again, especially for those late night cravings, also for those delicious churros!!! read more

One day when driving around the area looking for something to eat, I happened upon this place connected to a gas station which seemed sketchy at first. When I went to the drive thru and seen the many I was surprised with all the options available to me. I have gone back several times now when in the area and I always order a Pambazo and a two burrito plate with steak while my partners orders a 3 taco plate with a shrimp cocktail.
