My boyfriend and I came here before the rangers game to grab a quick bite. This isn't the place where you go and expect drive through times. I definitely waited for about 15 minutes before actually getting my food. I had the green salsa with my quesadilla which was super spicy! I loved it! I also ordered a Horchata and it was so delicious. Not too watered down and not overly sweet. I wasn't able to try the tortas since we gave them to another friend, but whenever I'm in Arlington I will give them another chance so I can try the tacos! They also have a desert menu that I need to try but maybe when I have more time on my hands!

Just your average taco spot. The first two times I've been here had been great with great service! The last few times was anything but. I was hoping it was just an off day the few times, so ofc I would still come back to try again, and to my disappointment it's just not the same. The tortillas really throw me off since they're no longer soft and warm, they come out more stale and chewy. If you're looking for decent authentic Mexican food to catch up with a friend or late night munch, then give them a try! But if you want the best arlington has to offer, it's not here.

It's been awhile since I had tacos la banqueta and I was missing it too. I was tempted to order a lot but then I stopped myself and now I'm regretting it. I love the flavor of their pastor. Its my top choice when I come here. This time I got the tripa crispy and lengua. I love their green sauce but my friend likes the red one so to each their own. I wish I got the fried quesadilla with pastor because it was so good. It was a pretty good price range for our party of two, less than $30. Service is great! The food came out fairly quickly when we ordered. The ambiance is very casual. My friend described it as "hole in the wall" so don't expect fancy. A lot of people like to come here on their lunch break here. It's so good and the people are friendly. I'd come back! I'm pretty sure I've been addicted to their tacos and sauce for years.

Look out folks, the Dallas/Fort Worth area has a very, VERY legit Mexican establishment. Typically you can't find this kind of quality in Houston (where I'm from) unless it comes from a food truck. Don't ask me why that is--ironically, life always tells a funny story. But let's dive into what makes this place so awesome (and the little things I can knit pick at). The tacos are FILLED. I mean, the shells are small--don't get me wrong, but they get filled (with plenty of cilantro and onions, too). Now typically I don't mess with tripe, but these guys make it amazing. If I could go back, I would just order 4 tripe tacos rather than play the field. Suardero is a very tender (cut of beef or pork that's in-between the belly and the leg) protein. It's worth trying and is what my friend claims is his favorite meat. Another important element is the sauces/salsa. Very tasty salsa Verde and Roja. Great kick to them, too. Quesadillas can also be fried like a super large empanada; it's not bad, but I'd definitely just invest in more tacos. Gorditas are also traditionally made. The bread is cut and stuffed with cabbage, queso Blanco, and your choice of meat. Suardero seems to be the popular option. Again, I'm a taco kind of guy... but honestly, I think all the food is quite good. Fruit Flavored Aguas frescas don't seem to be made with real fruit. Horchata and Hicama seem fine. The Pineapple one is delicious, but clearly made with artificial elements, and to be honest, that fact won't stop me or my friends from ordering it. Definitely not a big fan of waiting in a huge line to pay for our meal. The line seems to comprise of to-go orders amongst other tables... it seems extremely inefficient and creates traffic that can be otherwise avoided if servers just rang up the ticket and handed you the bill. Ambience wise, it compares to your run of the mill, typical taquerias. Brown tiles... orange interior paint... that kind if vibe. Not a big fan of all these Styrofoam plates either (especially for brick and morter), but it does seem like it makes their jobs easier. Overall, an easy 4-stars. I appreciate my good friends Thao and Jordan for showing me another gem inside the Dallas area.

Great local taco spot, it was definitely a full dining room but still managed to get my to go order out in 15-20 minutes. Authentic with good prices would come back again for a non-local in the area. Beef Tongue (Lungua) was so tender not overcooked at all and was a big fan of their Gordita as well as tacos.

Stopped in because this place always has a crowd. It is a seat yourself wherever you can place. Despite being super busy at lunch time, the service was spot on. Great service! I ordered the lengua tacos and they arrived quick and hot. They were good, but not great. I'm searching for great awesome street tacos like you find at those pop up tent stands on side of road. They had a good flavor but seemed over cooked to me. Just your typical, everyplace taco. The horchata (-1 star) was watery and thin. I'm sure it was not made in house. When I went to pay, the counter had several kids buying candy slowing down the pay line. (-1 star). Due to the good service I will be back and try something else.

Absolutely amazing. The street tacos were delicious and so fresh. We even had to order seconds! The service was great too!

Goodness gracious the tortas are huge! I had the Torta Bombocha, it has steak, sausage, chorizo cheese and ham with tomatoes and avocado! THE BEST! The horchata was soooo good!! . When you come in, you pick a table and the waitress will take your order. Food arrive fast. If you don't speak Spanish, no worries at all, I was able to order in English. The only downside is the line to pay for your food before you leave. You have to go to the counter, but dont let that stop you from coming here!

We decided to head over to the ever popular El Arroyo. We were hoping to be able to find a parking spot in their packed parking lot. I say this kindly since El Arroyo is very popular and to plan accordingly. I'm an amputee and there are only two handicapped spaces. Arriving we were optimistic, and we were in luck. We didn't get a handicapped spot but one just as good on the end of a row allowing my lots of room to transfer to my mobility chair. We love El Arroyo's patio, and it was going full blast. The hostess tagged the perfect accessible table for us and had it cleaned and set! We settled in and were greeted with salsa and a basket of piping hot chips. There was an awesome vocalist singing America standards in the background. She was wonderful, I wish I had gotten her name. Ashley, our incredible server, greeted us and took our drink order. It was definitely margarita time. We love their margaritas! They're a must if you're dining at the restaurant. After looking at the menu, my wife and I decided to split an order of chicken fajitas for one. We've found out fajitas for one are perfect for the two of us. The order usually provides at least two fajitas for each of us. So that's what we ordered. This would be the first time we'd ordered fajitas at the restaurant. In a jiff, Ashley delivered our margaritas to the table. She apologized that the food may take a bit longer since it was Friday evening and the restaurant was slammed. We told her we were in no hurry and just wanted to relax. We sat back, munched on chips and salsa and enjoyed the live entertainment. After a reasonable wait, dinner was served! Our chicken fajita entree was delivered smoking and sizzling along with all the necessary sides. Oh my, the fajitas smelled so good. We knew by the smoky smell they were going to be incredible, and YES, they were. They were some of the best chicken fajitas we've ever had. The chicken had just the right amount of marinade on it, and it was grilled to perfection. The side, rice, refried beans, guac and pico, were perfectly prepared and seasoned. To the flour tortillas, they were some of the softest and most tender tortillas we've had. To top the evening's visit off, Ashley, even though she was super busy, took excellent care of us. Thank you, El Arroyo for a relaxing dining experience, superior customer service with a smile, and a pronominal order of chicken fajitas. We'll see you again soon.
