Tacos - al pastor, carnitas, Pollo, barbacoa

This unassuming taco joint is located inside a gas station across from the soccer field but we know in TX that some of the best tacos are inside of gas stations. This place is family-run and they are the sweetest and most accommodating couple. During the breaks, you may also see the kids helping out, but note the hours are limited also! The tacos are always packed with meat and very reasonably priced. We ordered an assortment of tacos with me loving the Pollo and carnitas while my husband enjoyed his al pastor and barbacoa. They have a variety of other dishes on their menu that we still have yet to try but I bet they are just as good as the tacos!

California people will not eat tacos inside of a gas station. It's weird, but this was actually decent. No stomach ache or anything. The tacos are the best way to go. I thought the Al pastor taco was bomb and the birria has good flavor. I wouldn't recommend the nachos unless you're going to eat it there. They got super soggy because I got it to go. They put shredded cheese and melted cheese on it - chef kiss. The lady who worked there is nice and she gave me samples of the meat to see if I liked it. I'm still flabbergasted that all of this is in a gas station.

Happened to pass by this super casual spot, got curious about all the rave reviews, and they're correct! Note it's located within a Shell gas station. I tried a breakfast burrito; it was hefty, loaded with eggs and potatoes. Even though it was a bit pricier, totally justifiable by the size. Check them out if you have a chance!

I love tacos, especially from gas stations and trucks. I have been sleeping on this location, as I don't pass it regularly on my way into Arlington. Let me just tell you, it is absolutely worth going out of the way for. It is worth stopping at even if you are not hungry. Best tacos in Arlington? Maybe. Best chicken tacos I have found there, for sure. This used to be a subway counter inside the shell station, and the folks who have taken it over are doing awesome things. They deserve their 5 stars, two thumbs up, 10 out of 10. And I have only tried two of their tacos, the asada and the chicken. First off, the price point is fantastic, but the amount of food you get for your money is a STEAL. I ordered three tacos and there was enough meat on them for at least 5. But quantity doesn't matter if the quality isn't there. I tortured myself by picking up food to go and waiting until I got to work. The smell of it was amazing. At a stop light I had to open it up and take a peak. When I finally got to it, I was rewarded. They were tender and flavorful and HEFTY. The chicken was not dry at all. Lots of fresh onion and cilantro, and juicy limes. I got the green salsa, as that is my preference. It doesn't bring the heat but is flavorful. I may get both next time and go Christmas style. There will absolutely be a next time. Tacos every day!

Added onions and cilantro. Cebolla y cilantro. Nice combination with arroz rojo and pintos.

Delicious carne asada tacos. And lots of meat. The lady working there is the sweetest. I have to try the caldo de camaroñes next time. A couple of tables inside a gas station but a flawless restaurant. Try the horchata. Burritos are HUGE!

Birria tacos were delicious. Staff was extremely nice. There is a little spot to sit so we had our tacos inside the gas station. We will definitely be back

Wow DEFINITELY worth a review . This unassuming authentic Mexican grill is a must try! Food was so fresh and flavorful...the owners were extremely nice and informative , they even gave me a free sample! The birria tacos are the best in Arlington with lots of meat inside ...huge generous portions and don't get me started on the green sauce SO GOOD. This is my new lunch spot

I have driven past the Shell gas station at Fielder and Green Oaks right across from the park countless times. I was craving a spicy fulfilling breakfast on the way to work and stopped here. I'm glad I did. The one drawback to their location is that this Shell is not bright, clean looking and organized like QTs and RaceTrac. But the bacon breakfast taco and the chorizo breakfast taco were both delicious. The portions are generous and cooked to order. I selected the spicy red sauce over the mild green sauce and was very pleased, it has a nice kick to it without overwhelming the flavor of your food. I am most definitely going back. This is one of those hidden gems.

We are from out of town. Looking for a good Mexican restaurant. we found an authentic Mexican food family run great food good price.

They're always so clean, the music isn't too loud and the whole place smells delicious. I was able to order 6lbs of Pollo and 8lbs Bistek on a Thursday after 5pm, for a party on Saturday 1pm. It's so worth the time and it came out very savory and fresh. This place is amazing for takeout or dine in; just be aware that they're rightfully busy! Please have patience with the staff, they're so kind and helpful all the time.

Found this place on yelp. They had high reviews so I decided to give it a try. Everything was okay…read more Nothing really stood out. The salsa was tasty and spicy. The tacos weren't overly greasy. I got the 5 taco plate with beans and rice it was 15.99 but with tax and tip it came closer to $20 (no drink included). The two meats I got were barbacoa and bistec. The texture of the bistec was chopped very finely (I'm use to bigger pieces). Both meats were soft and "juicy" (I felt like they were watery) they didn't hold much flavor. The tortillas were fairly good. The space is really big and clean, the employees were very nice. I wish I would've liked the tacos more but they just weren't for me! However, they might be for you, so I would still stop by and give them a try! Maybe you will have better luck or pick a better item on the menu! They did have a lot to choose from.
