Found this little spot while in the area and forgot to post a review the first time. Today I ordered a Carnitas taco and I went off menu and ordered a chicken fajitas taco, which they were happy to make. The tacos are a generous size, I enjoyed the chicken more than the pork. But both were very good. The building is old but the tables are clean. Service was great. Would recommend for an authentic feel taco shop. Let me know your go to order for next visit. read more

This is a hidden breakfast burrito gem in East Fort Worth off Bridge Street. I have tried all their breakfast burritos and like them all but I regularly get the ham breakfast burritos. This burrito is HUGE. Is is filled with diced ham, chunky potatoes, and lots of melted cheese. The tortilla has a good heated/toasted finish. Don't forget the salsa! Ordered a chorizo breakfast burrito and horchata. Prices were updated but still not bad. The burrito was really good. Potatoes were really soft and the chorizo was really good. The horchata wasn't good, tasted really pasty so it was definitely instant powder bought from the store. I used the drive through and the outside looks rough but the lady that served me was really nice. read more

Very fresh and flavorful. It's just their drive-through system is really confusing. We went once and we haven't been back simply because of that. We didn't know which way to go. Went the other morning and ordered 3 chorizo burritos.. they weren't as big as they usually are and more tortilla than filling. To top it off, there was eggshells in two of the burritos.....not going back ....young man at window was not very friendly and didn't like us asking for extra salsa read more

Went to the new Arlington location and was excited to try the California style burrito. Maybe I'm used to Tex-Mex but the food here was just okay. The tacos were full of meat, which we loved, but the meat was pretty salty. The burrito was also pretty salty as well. The horchata was much more powdery than ones we've tried in this area. Prices are reasonable and great for the nearby high school kids, but we may not return since there are better taco joints nearby read more

What a great addition to our eastside neighborhood! I was hungry for breakfast tacos as I was headed home from early morning errands and decided to give Los Aibertos a try. I had read the reviews and felt I was in for a treat. I wasn't disappointed. I ordered two breakfast tacos, one with bacon, egg, cheese and potato and one with sausage. Oh, my goodness, both of them were awesome. The salsas, both the red and green were the perfect pairing for the tacos. I can't wait to head back for another drive-thru experience. read more

Just happened to be in the area so stopped by. I saw they had Cheeto burrito so I asked could it be a chimichanga and they said yes. They have a massive menu of Tex-Mex. There are a couple seats but I got it to go, the building definitely stands out. The service was good. I enjoyed the chimichanga, not the best but good. This was on my 4th visit to this location and I was very disappointed. I spent $45 for the food shown with a Jamaica drink not shown. The Chicken on the Tacos and enchiladas tasted and smelled spoiled when I dropped it off at my mom's house for dinner for her and my brother. I'm assuming that the Rolled Chicken Tacos must have been pre-made and frozen. Because they didn't smell or taste spoiled. I had no time to return because I had to go to the hospital. My brother did call and warn them not to sell anymore to any other patrons. I think she thought we were trying to get something free or return. But that wasn't the case at all. Because neither of us had any intentions on driving back over there. Not sure if I'll go back because it seems that the cook would have known that was bad chicken by the smell and looks of it before cooking it and serving it to the public. read more

I've been wanting to try this spot for a while now as it's super close to home and I drive by it often. We had a car full of kids and a puppy, so we ordered thru the drive thru. We did have to park and wait, but the food was fresh and made to order so it was worth it. My husband and son ordered carne asada fries and the super nachos and they were huge! They agreed to share one order next time because it was too much food for them. The pico on top was super fresh. The sopes were delicious. The seasoning on the carne asada was so good. I made the mistake of drowning them with green salsa before trying it and man, it had a kick to it. The rice and beans were a little bland, but the sopes were filling enough that I didn't really need them. There's a lot of different combo plates to choose from and the customer service was great. Given that it's probably the closest Mexican food we have to where we are currently staying, we will definitely be back soon! read more

We got the carne asada fries they were so so delicious. The carne asada plate was so yummy great for two days. We had to go back the next day to get more food because it was so good! The service was excellent. Very friendly young woman. I wasn't wild about my beef street taco. It didn't have much flavor at all. I was hoping it would be better because they are local to me and they have a drive through window . They were a little spicy, but not flavorful at all. I gave my dog some of the meat. Californians, this place is like home!!! Food is SO GOOD, you have to come and visit them. We came to the 2430 N. Davis, Arlington location.

Lady taking orders and running cash register was not friendly. Food was only so/so. They have huge containers of salt on the tables but that's the last thing this food needs. Main taste in cheese enchiladas was salt. Bean tostada wasn't good and the tortilla had a strange texture. Was highly disappointed in service and food. I recently was on this side of town for a funeral and stopped by because I noticed the bright familiar colors associated with what I know as a Taco Shop. As a native San Diegan (born & raised), its hard to find authentic real Mexican food that isn't TexMex. Well, I am glad I stopped in because that carne asada burrito with extra guacamole that I ordered tasted exactly like home, SOOOO GOOOD! The horchata was literally the best I ever had. The rolled tacos weren't that great, just lettuce and a tiny bit of guacamole (they were hard, dry and they forgot the cheese) BUT the CARNE ASADA definitely made up for those. The owner and his wife were so nice and friendly and the owner has ties to SESD so he knows what California Mexican Food is supposed to taste like. I will definitely be coming across town to get my Taco Shop "Dago" Fix from now on!! read more

When this location on Bridge Street first opened it was AMAZING! I visited at least twice weekly and encouraged friends to go. We don't have any restaurants where you can get real food in our neighborhood, only fast food. The food was fresh and I once said to someone it was if they were waiting for me to order before chopping up the ingredients for the pico de gallo. No matter how late at night, food was FRESH and AFFORDABLE. My last visit, the pork was sour. Not all of it, but the carnitas meat was obviously mixed in with some bad/old pork. I tried to take it back but they were closed even though sign says 24 hours. This happened once about 3 months before, pork not sour but was hard and crispy. I was told that was all they had so it must have been the crumbs left over that I was given. These weren't the first incidents of poor food quality served. The quality of the food has been declining for MORE THAN A YEAR! I did not want to write this review, I wanted to talk to the owner/manager, so they could fix the problems , but the employees would not even give me a contact name. No one seemed to care, so I've stopped eating there. Also, as quality decreased, their price increased TOO QUICKLY. I understand costs have to be passed on, but I can't pay SIT DOWN restaurant prices at a casual dining restaurant. My $10.41 meal is now $14 plus. Many restaurants have failed at that buildings location over the years. I use to have to wait in line behind 3 or 4 cars in the drive thru. I never wait now. I guess other regular customers have been experiencing the same because now there is never a line! I wish them the best, but I can't see wasting my money( and risking my health there) again anytime soon. read more

My go to spot for tacos & burritos. I've never had a bad meal here. I usually get Asada or Al Pastor tacos or an Asada burrito.

Everything is cooked fresh and is authentic Mexican food. My coworker and I usually get the tacos with rice and beans.

If you want real authentic California style food theres no other place to go. Been coming to this franchise since a kid in San Diego, so glad they got one out here read more

First time visit, I ordered a couple of burrito plates and some tacos. One of the burritos was the Bandido which is shredded beef and a chile releno inside. It was pretty good and the chile releno was still quite hot inside even 30 minutes later. I got shredded beef on all items but think I will try some other meat next time, I guess I'm used to ground beef in my tacos, etc. Things were a little pricey, but what isn't these days. The tortillas appeared to be homemade, but were a little tough to me. I guess I'm also used to soft tortillas too. I appreciate that they have a drive thru option and the person at the window was nice and helpful. And they are apparently open a lot of hours through the week. I bet they get a lot of business late at night, early morning. They also have breakfast items too, served all day. If I could improve one thing I think it would be the tortillas. This place is a gem. I started with the shrimp burrito and for the price it was outstanding. I also tried the Fish Taco Plate and it was very high quality. 2 big fish tacos with rice and beans.
