The staff were friendly and quick with our order. There are plenty of areas to sit and their menu offers a variety of options. I opted for the barbacoa and chipotle lime tacos with a side of borracho beans. The beans were flavorful and paired well with the yummy tacos. My friend enjoyed her tacos as well. Man, this one was a complete surprise. Our original plans for the evening were thrown off due to not knowing which places in the area were open when, so we opted for this place since it was accessible and the parking seemed to be more reasonable than others in the area. They're your typical trendy taco place, with their own selection of merchandise and crazy/cheesy jokes strewn about on t-shirts and signage. They have an ample bar space, but it looked like only one patron was interested in that; the rest of us were there to eat. You order your food at the counter and get a buzzer to come back and pick it up. The staff is friendly enough, but you don't really interact with them much since it's all pretty much self service after you go to the counter. The drink station has cane sugar based sodas; it's a bit heavy on the foam, but otherwise good. We opted for the birria pizza, a couple of cups of pozole, and a side of elote. Everything was solid. The elote was good, not great, but the pozole really hit the spot given how cold it was outside. The birria pizza is what blew me away, though. This was easily one of the most unique, but tasty, things I've ever had. It's not really a pizza, more like a topped quesadilla, but they did a great job of it. I will say this, and I mean it: I would be willing to drive all the way to Fort Worth, just for their food. They're that good! The customer service, from start to finish, was exceptional. Because of the parking, I wanted to get there earlier in the day to help avoid the headache associated with finding a space close to the eatery. With our Yelp Texmas event, we were treated to a margarita and a street taco; they were kind enough to allow me to substitute my drink for sparkling water, as I didn't want to drink and then turn around and drive. The decor is always nice, and with Christmas being around the corner, it was very festive. I ordered the Birria Pizza: Again, this was phenomenal and worth every penny. Every single bite was full of flavor, and that was without the sauce; the sauce added more layers and made it even better. It is plentiful and will last for at least two days, depending on how many people are sharing the pizza. Gringo Street Taco: I did not get this item; I didn't realize it until I was halfway home. Because I had two separate orders, the pizza came out first and the taco, second. I was disappointed. I've read that the Gringo was very good and missed out. I stopped by this taco spot since I was in the area. The setup is great, a taco spot with a bar on the side and the overall vibe and decor are really nice. Great vibe to the place. I could see any size party finding a nice time here for a no frills, but hip vibe atmosphere. It's a menu board where you then order and seat yourself. You get a pager and then go up to the counter to pick up your food. The menu is slightly eclectic street tacos. Some familiar favorites like tacos al pastor but with a few twists here and there. Flavors were good but I was disappointed with the corn tortillas. One corn tortilla (as opposed to two small, street taco size) and I'm guessing they are just store bought because the tortilla actually took away from the flavors of the actual filling rather than compliment them. For a higher price point ($4+ dollars per taco), it was too small a portion for the price. 4 star for food flavor abd atmopshere, 2 stars for tortillas and price point, leaving me with an average 3 star rating. read more

The place is aesthetically nice but I wasn't a fan of the food. I ordered the asada tacos, trompo pastor and pollo with rice and beans and I was sad that I didn't like any of the tacos or rice. My mom liked her chicken tacos but my asada tacos were too salty, oily and seasoned in an untraditional way, the al pastor had too much of the meat and tasted un seasoned, the salsas only provide spice but not much of a flavor. The only thing that I enjoyed were the beans. They're a mix between frijoles tejanos and Mexicanos. Lastly, I'd like to suggest paper menus. The menu changes so much on screen that it's hard to read. The carne asada had lots of American taco seasoning. The tortillas weren't good. I ordered elotes without the cilantro (which is not in the corn per menu, but clearly visible). However, there were a lot of significant takeaways. Here's what I discovered. Parking is very difficult to find. You have to park on the street. They have a large outdoor patio, the ambience is beautiful and clean. BV has a Tejano playlist that includes the late Selena Quintanilla. The infamous sound of Techno Cumba was playing. This seems like a trendy hotspot? Seems like the office staff heads over here along w friend groups. The majority of the people didn't seem to mind the wait, except these two guys in front of me. Parking is $10. I tried this restaurant as a part of a Yelp promotion. When I arrived, nobody had any idea about the Yelp promotion. So, I just ordered anyway because I had already dropped $10 on parking. Otherwise, I would have just left. But really, WTH? You partner with Yelp to do a promotion and then don't tell your service staff? I ordered the birria tacos and the kids quesadillas. For sides, I got elote and potatoes. No high chairs. No booster seats. Water cups have no lids. No kids cups. So, this is 100% not a place for families with kids. The elote was the worst. There was this weird red cheetoe dust covering the top. I had one bite. The potatoes were also bad. I had one bite and left the rest. I have no idea what the seasoning was, but everyone hated it. The kids quesadillas were fine. The birria tacos were the only thing good. The tacos are the only reason this is not a 1 star review. $37.77 for a pretty bad experience. First time here, discovered this restaurant via TikTok. Being new to the area and on the hunt for good Mexican food or tacos, this place hit the mark--specifically for tacos. The margaritas were just okay--more juice and ice than a balanced drink, so I'd rate them 6/10. This restaurant operates in a semi-self-service style: you can place your order at the bar or counter, receive a table buzzer, and pick up your food when it's ready. It's not a full-service restaurant, but there's plenty of seating inside and on the patio. I didn't love how limited and strict the shared patio space was with the neighboring restaurant. I'm usually underwhelmed by dip trios but this one is really good; even the chips alone are yum. If you like coconut, you have to try their pina colada. It's strong and smooth and a little too easy to finish. Topped with toasted coconut flakes and an edible flower, it's really pretty to boot. The strawberry kiwi delight is super good as well. The fresh strawberry puree is really refreshing and not too sweet. This is a casual spot where you order at the counter, full service at the bar. Decent atmosphere, relatively large patio for nice weather periods. The elote was good but not a lot of crema inside. Wish I had known about the abundance of cilantro because I would have opted without. Tacos were also okay but some large chunks that could not be easily bitten. The pina colada was my second favorite as far as quality & consistency, but beware, it's strong.
