Great pupusas, curtido & salsa. Went for brunch on a Sunday morning and we were the only ones there as soon as they opened. Free chips and salsa were bomb. I had a cheese pupusa and a cheese and bean pupusa. Both super tasty. Husband had the fried egg breakfast and a side of casamiento which he really liked. I stole his plátanos and crema and they were also cooked perfectly. The waitress was friendly and attentively. Definitely recommend for pupusas.

The food service is excellent! Great portions and very authentic food. Hands down the BEST!!! Restaurant in TX. Great environment good vibes and overall 5 stars service. Mariela is the best and very informative waitress.

EAT HERE! Authentic and delicious! What's find. The enchilada was a flavor explosion. Not the enchilada you are used to. The Pupusa Loco was CRaZY goods and huge. Yuca fries were legit and the "slaw" for each dish was a perfect addition. They had unique agua frescas which I did not try but wish I would have. Fast and lovely service. Wish I would have taken more pictures. I was hungry.

Great little hole in the wall establishment in Keller. Be sure to check your Bougie at the door because it literally has an authentic feel with no frills. Happy Eating, Fort Worth!

while i was looking for a place to get lunch, i was leaning towards a chain restaurant or fast food place. But i wanted to support local and small businesses, so i ended up here. Glad i did. This place is located in the back of the einstein bagels and next to any time fitness. Its hard to see from the street. If you dine in, they'll give you chips and salsa. i wanted to get horchata, but apparently they have an el salvadoran style one, which is vastly different than the mexican one. I didn't like it too much, so i opted for water. I ended up getting the crazy pupusa, a steak pupusa and a barbacoa taco. All the items were really filling, and i didn't finish my meal. I really enjoyed the crazy pupusa, its pretty much all the items they can stuff into a pupusa and its a lot bigger than the regular ones. shrimp, steak, etc.. The people working there are extremely friendly and nice. PS: they also have a very small store in the front of the restaurant for misc snacks.

What a great hole in the wall place! And in Keller! Double plus. If you're not paying attention, you'll definitely miss it! The food was great and we didn't have to wait long at all for our food. The papusas were so good and everything was very tasty!

Small mom & pop location in Keller. Little mix of Mexican & Salvadorean food. I strongly recommended you stop and try for yourself. The food is Yummy! I really enjoyed my Camarones a la Diabla & that loaded potatoe made it A+. Also tried the Papusas and they are all good, my favorite was the Mixta. Overall great delicious food all for a good price and cozy warm place.

Great spot in the Keller area- Very hole in the wall with excellent food. They are a small operation, so do not expect lightning fast service- but once you get the food you will fall in love with the place. We had gotten two pupusas, steak ranchero, fried plantains, and chips and salsa (which comes free of charge.) All the food was excellent and fresh, and definitely a refreshing change from the larger restaurants in the area. What stood out the most was the service- while there were several people in the restaurant at that time, our server came around regularly and asked how the food was and if we needed anything. I would definitely recommend El Sabor!

Enchilada Salvadorean?

First time here, so I wanted to sample a variety of items. There are many large photos of the items on the walls, and all look very appetizing. It was difficult to choose. But, I saw a dish that looked much like a "sampler" platter, called the Plato Tipico (1 tamal de pollo, 1 papusa, 1 platano con crema, yuca con chicharron, and 1 pastelito). That sounded like a lot of food already, but I also ordered a single Enchilada Salvadorean. Of course, the meal began with Chips and Salsa, which were very much to my liking. The Yellow Corn Chips were crisp and the Salsa thick and a fair amount of spice at the finish. The food all arrived quite quickly, and all looked very appetizing, but the best presentation goes to the Enchilada Salvadorean (although it seemed more like a Tostada - so either enchiladas are different in El Salvador, or I ordered the wrong item! Nonetheless, my objective was to try a variety of items. I began with the papusa. I realize that plain papusas aren't, by themselves, abundantly flavorful but I would have liked a little more flavor in the accompanying cabbage and sauce. Next, I tried the Yuca Con Chicharron, which is served on a bed of mildly pickled red cabbage. Again, yuca isn't going to overwhelm you with flavor, but these are tender and a good dipped in the crema or some of the salsa. The pork was good, but a little crunchy. The Tamal definitely needs a sauce. I'm seeing a theme here! Maybe it's my American palate craving a sauce for everything, so I'll allow the benefit of the doubt. The tamale was very tender masa as well as the chicken inside. It also contained some chunk of potato. I liked the tamale, especially once I poured salsa over it! So, still not done! Time to try this "Enchilada" that was probably a Tostada. It looks great. Piled with chicken, tomato, avocado, cucumber, radish and half a hard-boiled egg. The problem was how to eat it? No way I could pick it up. I was forced to cut into it and then gather pieces of each ingredient to get a cohesive bite. Wow! The flavor was great! It all comes together really well, but it's not easy to eat. Some soft and some crunchy items together, make gathering each bite challenging. Still not done! One last item to try (besides Fried Plantains, which are always great, so we'll move past those). Finally, the Pastelito, which was probably the most flavorful bite on the plate. This thin, crisp corn fritter is filled with vegetables and tastes like I just broke open a really tasty pot pie. I could eat several of those! El Sabor is definitely not an "Americanized" taco spot. The menu is extensive, and full of original dishes that you won't find at many restaurants. They also serve breakfast all day, so even the pickier eaters should probably be able to find something to their liking, but it definitely has more than a few items for the adventurous foodies.

The caldo de res was very good. O have yet to try the shrimp cocktail but it looks good. All and all we will be back because it's always about the food.

i really was looking forward to trying this place out. I love the big photos of the food. Atmosphere was interesting. I wish them luck in this difficult time. We ordered pupses I am pretty sure I am misspelling that. They were good but they had a burnt smell in the car. I could have cooked them myself. Perhaps they were trying to get them out fast for us. We will come back and try more stuff. Please don't burn my food. I bet i can order cold next time and cook at home! Hope so.

My first time I came here during my pupusas craving phase and made the trek here in hopes it was as good as I thought it would be. Its located on the corner in downtown Plano, it's a small location with parking behind the building. First time I decided on the queso, chicarron and revueltas( pork, bean and cheese) pupusas. All the pupusas were so good, the revueltas being my favorite. The pork in the revueltas was savory, I could actually taste all the ingredients and it had the perfect amount of cheese. Their salsa was ok, on the mild side. Still searching for a pupusas spot with really spicy sauce, but the curtido is one of my favs because it has that perfect vinegar kick that I love. Now.....I don't know what happened between my first visit and this recent visit which was maybe 4 months apart but it was like night and day in flavor. I ordered the chicharron and revueltas pupusas again but decided to branch out and ordered 1 chicken taco and 1 lengua taco. The pupusas were not the flavorful pupusas I had the first time. Also, the revueltas pupusas was really lacking in ingredients; I couldn't taste much pork or beans it was pretty cheese heavy. The chicken taco was just ok it needed way more flavor, but the lengua taco was on point it was very tender and not to fatty. Curtido still hits, mild sauce i could take or leave but the green sauce that I got was great, I hate that I only got 1 small cup because It really added good flavor to my food. I also tried the tres leches which is one of my favorite types of cake and it was not good to me at all. Despite the cake still having a few days before it expired it tasted old to me and had a flavor on the backend that I couldn't identify and made me wary of finishing it. The customer service was good both times and there is a good amount of seating inside. Maybe I caught them on an off day but because this place is not that close to me, it will be a long time before I return. Back on the pupusa hunt!

We ordered menudo, fajita tacos , lengua tacos and al Pastor. The menudo was good. The lengua &…read morebeef tacos was tender and flavorful. The al pastor was okay.I think their tortillas are homemade. It was really good. Although pricing are a bit higher than I am used to, we will come back. But service was great.

I thoroughly enjoyed trying their pupusa Loca, which includes Chicharron Salvadoran or pork, Salvador and beans, black beans, Larocco and cheese they even have pupusa's to go, and I love that they have a beautiful logoon their products. Love the cartoon of Doña Lola. It's very adorable. I give this place a 10 out of 10 this is because I thoroughly enjoyed every aspect of my experience here I even brought some home to the family go here you wont regret it. I adore the way it feels like El Salvador and is very home-like restaurant feel. THERE IS A 15% SERVICE FEE for dining in. So please keep that in mind. Also at some points there is a woman who is a little sassy that works there.

We've been here multiple times over the past few years and are usually happy with the taste and quality of the food (4 out of 5). Service is good, nothing special (3.5 out of 5). But we won't be coming back because we don't want to pay the service fee and then tip as well. Where does the service fee go? Do the servers get it? We could accept a small 3% fee for credit card purchases, but a 15% service fee is unreasonable.

We tried 4 different ones, the cheese and flower, the chicken and cheese, the pork and chicken combo and spinach and cheese. All of them were tasty but the chicken and pork mixtures were our favs. The frijoles and rice were excellent and the pina aqua Fresca was the bomb.
