    3 pupusas plate
    Jim M.

Stopped in today for some pupusa's the Granddaughter was craving while in town. She went with the 3 pupusa plate, the wife went with 2 and I had the Yuca con Chicarron. We placed our orders and enjoyed some conversation, stocked up on salsa in preparation for our meal. A few folks came in but for the most part we beat the dinner business. A small shop with a fair amount of seating, somewhat dated but very clean with a great location. Food was served hot and well prepared, they really do a good job here and we all had a little bit of each other's the yuca frita was exceptionally good. Honestly the price was almost too reasonable, I felt like we got more than we paid for this time. I don't think I've ever said that period. Felt pretty good and satisfied when leaving. SHM walking to the car thinking, That was good.

To be honest this was the first time we visited this establishment and was extremely disappointed. We ordered pupusas, papas locas, yuca and pastelitos de carne. The pupusas were really good! When we saw the yuca, I realized there was chicharon in the dish and I had asked the lady at the counter if they had a side of yuca that I could order, and she said yes and did not let me know there was chicharon in it, which is not what I had ordered nor what we wanted but We did not say anything about it. Later we tried the beef pastelitos, which were bland and did not taste good, which we also said nothing about it. Then the papas locas arrived, which we had ordered those fries with carne asada and the fries were soggy and the dish was oily, to the point to where there was a pool of oil on the tray, disgusting! At this point, I asked the lady up front to refund me the money for the fries with carne asada, to which she said they did not do any refunds. She asked if I wanted to have the dish cooked again, to which I asked if it would come out looking the exact same with all the oil and soggy and she said yes, so I said I preferred my money back, again she said there was no refunds, I asked if I could at least have something different and she said yes, so we ordered and extra side of pupusas, which it was the only good thing we actually enjoyed. I have never been to an establishment where if the customer is not happy with the food, the customer does not get a refund. Let me clarify we did not even touch the fries because it looked disgusting, yet we were denied our money back. Extremely disappointed.

I saw this place listed in a Yelp collection and thought it would be good to try something new. We love Mexican food and this place also has Salvadoran cuisine. The papusas are really good. We tried a couple different ones and had the chicken flautas. You order at the counter and they bring you the food. They have a good amount of searing too. Lots of food choices and a great meal overall. We will be back!

It's the second time I've found a leg from cockroach and they only say it's melted cheese!!! Really???

Decent tacos at a decent price... the taco plate I ordered was slightly cheaper than other taco spots in the area I go to. The flavors were good but much more greasy than I am accustomed to. The rice seemed somewhat undercooked as there were hard bits in some bites but was also flavorful and decent. While some people dislikes beans, I do somewhat enjoy them. tacusas beans were adequate but their serving size left more to be desired. The service was prompt and the establishment was clean and inviting. I also liked their salsa bar which was filled with the typical toppings one would find on top of their tacos. All in all a decent place and one worth trying again to see if we can get another star added to this review.

I have ordered food from Tacusa Multiple times, but have never written a review. Yo soy Salvadoreña, y déjeme decirle, TACUSA has really good Salvadoran food! Tamales, Pupusas, Pozole everything is delicious!!! Please provide more curtido, a small condiment container for multiple pupusas is not enough.

    Platano Frito

The cheese and "Salvadorian Sauce" tasted bad. Like expired. The popusa salad did not taste or look like popusa salad. We could not eat the platanos Fritos because they had the same bad cheese/sauce.

Took 25 minutes to get my food and was cold and The corn tortillas was stale and the barbacoa was like red and bbq mix like who in the right mind idk maybe I'm picky but no I would rather knock out all my teeth and try and eat a steak then come back here

Elote in a cup & carne asada tacos

I hate to admit this but I've eaten here once a week for about a month and always order the same thing lol elote in a cup and 2 carne asada tacos. They never disappoint! And pricing is not bad at all. The carne asada is flavorful and tender. I usually order to go but have eaten there once and they have this little condiments bar with all kind of fresh fixings and toppings to add to your food. I love the red onions with jalapeños. I've also tried the pupusa de loroco & delicious. The ladies at the front are always so nice & informative. The location is clean, a little small but definitely comfy. There's always plenty of parking. This has definitely become one of my favorite places. It's so authentic. My only complaint is that door! It's a struggle to open every time!! Lol

I've eaten a lot of tacos in my time. But some bites have a way of humbling you. This one did. I ordered the street tacos with barbacoa. Corn tortillas layered with melted cheese, another tortilla laid gently on top, then crowned with rich, slow-cooked meat. Simple ingredients, intentional hands. The first bite landed heavy -- comforting, soulful, and loud in all the right ways. These tacos slapped harder than Babe Ruth sending one out of the park. And the real kicker? The smile on her face as she watched me take that first bite -- the kind that says, "I told you so," without needing to say a word. She knew she was right. The service matched the food -- warm, polite, unhurried. That small-town kind of kindness where you're treated like you belong, even if it's your first time through the door. No rush, no attitude, just genuine care. Some places feed you. Others stay with you. Taqueria Temo does both. I'll be back.

A slight oversight. No biggie. The chips and salsa were good. Salsa is puréed and tasty. A bit of a kick but not over powering. The chips are on the "thicker" side. Preference for the lighter crispier chips though. I've been wanting to try this place for a long, long time. We literally eat at the Indian rest, Namaste Grill and bar next door and it's the best of the best. When I saw the TikTok reviews I knew I recognized the restaurant and couldn't wait to try it. I inquired about Taco Durangos. And she seemed confused but showed me that they did have "fried crunchy tacos" and directed me to the picture on the front. I asked if I could get one chicken, beef and Pork. She's said NO that they were only available in Beef and Lamb....uggggh. I ordered one with just beef to try it. It's a birria taco...it was good. I like the crispiness of it but normally not a fan of the dipping sauce served with the taco. That was the case here. Not a fan. The little service red sauce also lacked flavor...it was HOT. What's standing out the most is the salsa's, green verde sauce included all lacked flavor. Disappointing. The quesadillas were outstanding! Filling and flavorful. My street tacos were underwhelming. The corn tortillas were gummy and lacked flavor in general. Same with the beans and rice. $43.00

They're your typical trendy taco place, with their own selection of merchandise and crazy/cheesy jokes strewn about on t-shirts and signage. They have an ample bar space, but it looked like only one patron was interested in that; the rest of us were there to eat. You order your food at the counter and get a buzzer to come back and pick it up. The staff is friendly enough, but you don't really interact with them much since it's all pretty much self service after you go to the counter. The drink station has cane sugar based sodas; it's a bit heavy on the foam, but otherwise good. We opted for the birria pizza, a couple of cups of pozole, and a side of elote. Everything was solid. The elote was good, not great, but the pozole really hit the spot given how cold it was outside. The birria pizza is what blew me away, though. This was easily one of the most unique, but tasty, things I've ever had. It's not really a pizza, more like a topped quesadilla, but they did a great job of it. I'd not only come back here next time I'm in Fort Worth, I'd be interested in opening a location in Houston if I had the money to franchise it.
