My husband found Dos Hermanos one day out looking for breakfast tacos. Ya'll, he used to drive way down Beach to a chain fast food place to get decent breakfast tacos, and they were good, but Dos Hermanos are better than good, they are delicious, and have a homemade quality to them, maybe it's their tortillas but we truly enjoy them on a lazy morning, we always order them to-go and he picks them up, but I just had to come on here and share that if you want to mix things up a little bit from your usual breakfast or brunch, I highly recommend giving them a try, they are next door to NY Pizza and Pasta, so don't worry about finding them, they are off Keller Hicks Rd in a little strip center that faces Woodland Springs Rd, so you only see the end of the building when on Keller-Hicks, easy to find and great prices too read more

I went here today for lunch and asked the server (she was very nice) what I should get. She said that everything was good, so I asked what was most popular. She said one of them was enchiladas, so I settled on the chicken enchiladas with green sauce. She cautioned me that they were spicy, but I love spice so I went with it. Sauce was spicy, but very flavorful. These enchiladas were incredible. I'll definitely get them again. Rice was very good as well. She also brought out three different types of salsas in addition to the original one that came with the chips. They were all great. Where I live, there is no good Mexican food and on my way back from the airport. I stopped at this location Dos Hermanos and it was spotlessly clean. The lady that waited on me was really friendly. I ordered three pesto tacos, rice and beans. The pastor tacos were fabulous. They came super hot rice and beans tasted good but we're not very warm. They were a little on the cool side, but that did not stop me from eating them. I would definitely go back and I really feel like the price was a fair price for what I got, I think a lot of Mexican food has gotten very overpriced lately, but this place was more food than I could eat so I did take some of it to go and I would definitely go back to this place. Love Dos Hermanos, tacos are always spot on and the Pupusas are delicious. Although all things are good, I will certainly recommend trying the Pastor, it is particularly tasty. Nice light chips and mild salsa for nominal fee. They usually have some kind of baking show muted on the TV so it isn't distracting for conversation and gives kids something to watch. I'd guess there are 10 or so tables for 4. Service is polite and prompt. Only downside is the catering, despite several attempts to contact, and two different phone numbers provided by the restaurant, the catering person never responded back to us and we were unable to hire. Good for a quick dine in/ to-go meal, but catering service offered is unreliable. read more

We wanted Mexican last night, but we didn't want to do the same old corporate generic places. We stumbled upon this place. We opened the door and was immediately greeted by Francisco as he was cleaning tables. Francisco is obviously the face of this place. He is so friendly and passionate. The queso was great. All the salsas and hot sauces were great, as well. Some advice, if they tell you the green is really spicy, trust them. It took about 10 minutes for my tongue to cool down. The enchiladas were delicious. My wife had the beef ones. Something s simple as refried beans were amazing also. The star of the table were the fajitas. The flavor was absolutely amazing. A whole in the wall place is where you find the authentic cuisine. There was one guy manning the counter as well as the tables and he did an excellent job at keeping up. I ordered the menudo which they claim to serve everyday. I figure if they serve it everyday, there must be a demand for it. Most Mexican places will only serve menudo on the weekends. Asked if I wanted hominy which I wasn't sure if I didn't want any, would there be something else. I've never had menudo without hominy. I got it with hominey. Cilantro and onions and a lime wedge as well as hot sauce came with it, I love adding all those items to my menudo. The broth was rich and flavorful. The hominy was tender and tripe was abundant. Highly recommend. The other 3 people in my party all got different items and all empty plates at the end of our meal. read more

I keep meaning to try this neighborhood gem for dinner, but was driving by and decided to hop in for some breakfast tacos. I was greeted by the nicest woman who was eager to please! I ordered two tacos with potatoes, eggs, bacon, and cheese. I forgot to mention that I needed corn tortillas. They came out on flour, but the nice server brought me two corn tortillas right away. They were the best corn tortillas ever! They had three different kinds of salsa on the table. One red, one green, and one creamy green. The creamy one is the spicy one. All three were delicious! This is a little hidden gem located in a shopping strip. As soon as I walked in, I was greeted and asked if I was eating in or to go and the customer service was on point the whole time. Because I was dining in, I was given complimentary chips and salsa. They offered spicy or mild salsa. I chose mild, and even though it seemed a bit watery, it was very flavorful. They have a lot of stuff on their menu, and if you can't decide, they have photos of all their items above their register. I went with a carne asada sope and a carne asada Gordita. They both were hot, fresh, and so flavorful. I decided on adding a little green salsa to them and it had a good spicy kick to it. If salsa verde isnt your thing, they also had avocado salsa and red salsa. Honestly, give this little spot a try the next time you're wanting some good Mexican food. You're bound to find something delicious on their menu and friendly service to go along with it! read more

Very unsuspecting place. Came on a Friday night at 6pm and the window tint on the windows and door make it seem closed. It was definitely open. Food was good, service great. Small place and our large group basically took up the entire dining area. I'd come here for a quick lunch or to-go. Ordered enchiladas not realizing the green tomatillo sauce was spicy. Queso and chips were good, couldn't enjoy the salsa again too spicy. Is this place BYOb? I like a cold beer with Mexican food. Try it out if you're in the area. Enjoy! read more

I had a taco craving, do wanted to find a new place to try. This one popped up with excellent reviews, so wanted to give it a try. While it was pretty good, it didn't quite hit the spot. The tacos were smaller than most places with less meat, though the meat was pretty good. The hot sauce while def had a nice kick (nowhere near to my level of spice, but it's all good(, but tasted very salty which is kinda weird for hot sauce at a taco place. They apparently now have elote (corn in a cup) as well. It's not in the menu, but signs up said "we now have corn in a cup". It was pretty good. I'll admit that. But with so many taco places, this one misses the mark, so will prob find somewhere else next time read more

this place is more like a 3.75 out of 5 stars. I definitely wouldn't call this place a hole in the wall, but it is off the main street. Located in the center of a tiny strip mall. When you first get seated, they'll give you chips and salsa. We ended up getting the bisteck ranchero, 1 tripa taco and carne asada enchilada. The bisteck ranchero will come with your choice of flour or corn tortilla. They asked whether or not, we wanted the enchilada spicy and we told them no. When the food come out, everything looked so good. They will also price three different sauces. The least spiciest one being the green sauce, which adds a nice kick to your dishes. The only thing i didn't like was that the carne asada was spicy, even when we told them we didn't want spicy. The tripa taco was simple, but very good. The intestines were crunchy and tasty. We also ordered one horchata, and to be honest, it was one of the best tasting horchata i've ever had. Definitely coming back and getting more. I believe they also have tacos tuesday specials. knocked off .25 stars, due to extra charge for using a credit card and spice on the enchilada. There is a sign near the cashier that notifies patrons, this place prefers cash and will include a discount for anyone paying cash. read more

A hidden gem off the road in a strip mall we just happened upon by chance. Authentic Mexican food at reasonable price. Our meal consisted of Chips & some of the better Salsa I have experience in awhile with spicy mild/red/green options. Horchata and Jarrito for drinks. Lunch was Gordita with Sopé & Torta/Fries with Flan to finish the meal. The torta milanese was perfect and reminded me of West Coast style the fries were light and crispy and a decent thickness was a pleasant surprise. Although I wasn't given the opportunity to taste the rest Diana described them as simply amazing..followed by this place is a keeper. We shared the Flan and it was ok but lacked the creaminess we prefer. The location actually is the only reason I held back on 5 stars as its tucked away off the road and hard to see. Very good neighborhood restaurant in Woodland Springs subdivision in Keller. This is a small mom and pop restaurant in a strip mall. The decor and dining area is no frills no fuss. The service is really fast and so personal. When I asked about adding spinach to my Cheese Enchiladas, they did so and they were delicious. The fresh made Jamaica was very refreshing and I enjoyed it. I am very happy with my meal and service and we will be back!! read more

Outstanding Breakfast Burrito!!! I was in the Dallas area only a short while for work, and I sure am glad I found Dos Hermanos!!! I think one of my favorite foods of all time is the breakfast burrito. It's breakfast. It's mobile. It's why Yelp always suggests "breakfast burrito" for me. Ha! I was on my way to the airport, and wanted something mobile and "Texas". Upon entering this small restaurant ( 8 or 9 tables), I was greeted by the Brilliant smells of something on the grill, and a friendly cashier (in English). She helped me decide on a breakfast burrito instead of breakfast tacos, with chorizo, egg, rice, beans, potatoes, cheese, and tomato. For mobility reasons, and to have a second meal on the plane, I requested the burrito be cut in half and wrapped separately. This, good people, is half of the burrito. (Pictured). It is almost the length of my hand!!!! The tortilla was perfectly cooked, just a tiny bit crispy. The innards were absolutely delicious. On the runny side because of the tomatoes, which had me eating parked, because I didn't want to loose a smidge of deliciousness to the seat of my rental car. The whole of the inside was homogeneous, giving each bite almost the same amount of each item, unlike some "other" burritos where the first bite is sour cream, the second cheese, the third lettuce, etc. I ate the second half after landing. It had cooled, obviously, and was much less runny, but still absolutely terrific. I also requested a spicy red salsa, as well as the green. Neither registered as "too spicy" for me, but I know everyone is different. I thoroughly enjoyed the flavor of the green salsa. I don't even know how to describe it. Both salsas were on the runny side of the scales, with the green being the chunkiest. Unfortunately, I had to dispose of the unused salsa because of TSA. :) If you find yourself near Keller, Texas, I encourage you to grab a bite to eat here!!! You can thank me later!!! :) read more
