Finally we're able to stop and give it a go. We were greeted and served by Juanita our order was al pastor gordita, Taco de tripa, and a Cubano torta. The tripa was cooked with a perfect crunch. Al pastor & the Cubano torta were ok we finished half the torta and brought the other half home for lunch tomorrow. We never go to dinner without saving room for dessert and the one reason we decided to go tonight was their homemade Flan they advertised. You can imagine my disappointment when Juanita informed us they only make that sometimes not regulary.I was crushed nevertheless we ordered from another restaurant nearby that normally has advertised items. Overall good experience will probably stick to tacos on any return trips. Place was spotless clean from the windows to the floor. Mainly a lunch spot for us. Because Dinner without dessert just ain't dinner.

I often complain that I can't find good tacos in Fort Worth. Well--I was wrong! These tacos are flavorful and well priced (especially on Tuesday). Now, that ginormous burrito--it's on another level. It's delicious and huge. I ate 1/3 for breakfast and was satisfied. I asked for just bacon, but my daughters had the different meats in their burrito. We all enjoyed our food. Salsas are yummy too. Service was friendly.

We were looking for a good Mexican place with Birriea tacos. My wife is in a kick looking for the best tacos. This place is close to our home and looked like good enough Yelp reviews. For a Friday night its wasn't packed but we sat down right away. It did get busier the longer we were there. It's a mom n pop place so not a lot of front end staff. The inside is warm and inviting. The lady that took our order was very sweet and seemed on her game. A man was helping her out and appeared confused and was messing up delivering orders to wrong tables. We started with chips and salsa, which was really good. Then we got a small bowl of their guacamole which was amazing!!! Definitely homemade. My wife ordered the Birriea taco plate. It looked really good but was just average. Not a lot of spice or taste. The tacos were soggy and not crunchy at all. But good. I had the carne asada burrito which is HUGE! I enjoyed it. They never brought out the side of beans and rice that my wife ordered. So we just went without. They also forgot our corn we ordered and brought it out only after I had to ask for it. Now that corn was really good! I could have eaten that for dinner alone. All in all it was good but there an issue with service. We would go back again to try something else.

Let me start by saying, I wish I had photos of our food, we ordered it for carry out during a busy day and actually ate in our vehicle like the hungry, hungry piglets we are! My brother has been raving about the food here at My old man's tacos so I knew it was going to be good, he treats himself every time he gets his hair done Nextdoor. We got chicken street taco's and Carne asada street tacos, and I just want you to know they were both exceptionally delicious! The chicken was so tender with my obsession cilantro (thank goodness I don't have the "it tastes like soap" gene) and fresh chopped onions. Their salsas are chefs kiss, and made on site. Their beef had such a great flavor and my brother got his with rice and beans which he devoured. He also wants me to encourage to to try the Agua Fresca, his favorite is Hibiscus so refreshing! They also have decadent desserts, don't skip the cheese cake, there are so many options here, and the restaurant is bright and clean, we were there during lunch and there was a steady flow of customers pouring in. I already want to go back when I can relax and dine in!

Delicious pesole served on a foggy Sunday. Great service too. Love how clean and well kept the place is from the dining to the restroom, this place is well loved. Nice decor. It's also a BYOB place.

great local spot to get your mexican fix on. located on 377 next to a mama's pizza. When you first get seated, they'll provide you with some chips and salsa. We ended up getting a lengua quesadilla, carne asada sope and the bistec al la mexicana. both the bistec and quesadilla came with rice and beans. everything was delicious and extremely filling. i don't think we were able to finish everything between two people. They also have three different types of salsa they provide for your entrees. the only thing i would mention is that they should buy something to help trap flies. while we were eating inside, it was really annoying to protect our food from this one fly, it kept wanted a taste of my bistec dish.. lol they also have elote/esquites but we didn't give it a try. next time i'll check it out.

This was the first time this place came up on Yelp so thought we would give it a try. Service was prompt and friendly. We were there about 1:30 on a Saturday and there was only one other couple in the place. It's very clean and quiet. They do have a tv on but it's super low so you couldn't hear what was on it. As someone else mentioned some background music would be nice. We started with sodas. The Mexican Coke is black label. Likely the best thing about our visit. The chips were thick, our preference is thin and crispy, we could not tell if these were homemade and salsa just ok. Carnitas street tacos were very dry. Maybe over grilled. And the tortillas were not home made. Gordita she'll was good. But again it was very dry. Fajitas were my favorite food. The veggies were cooked well, still had a little crunch. But the flavor was just ok. Nothing special. The rice was very bland. Nothing remarkable. The tortillas served with the meal were homemade, but again not the greatest. They have a great location and beautiful clean new restaurant. I hope they can tweet their very vast menu and make it work.

Updating my review to add in breakfast items, this is the best chilaquiles this in the area. Sometimes they serve it with sliced avocado on top, and sometimes they don't but the green sauce flavor is amazing, and as mentioned in my previous review, so are the rest of the sauces. I've now had for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, recommend them all but you do need to watch the bill. I paid in cash as to avoid the service fee associated with credit cards, to only discover I paid cash for the credit card fees anyway :-/ I'm going to assume this was an error, and not pocket lining but please look closely to your receipt before departing to rectify any issues.

Went here on a whim after seeing the pictures and wow it did NOT disappoint. Got the birria tacos And it was on point. My dad loved his street tacos as well and my mom loved her stuffed pepper with rice and beans. The rice was very refreshing as well. Loved.

This should be a crime. Atleast a misdemeanor, especially after repeated violations! -Birria tacos consume is a step or 2 above brown water these days: very thin with no flavor. -The onions and cilantro on the side are not fresh. It's like the produce is tired after sitting out a day or two. - I purposely ordered à la carte tacos (they are $3.50 per taco), but when I get my bill I was charged for 1 à la carte taco and a half order of tacos. The half order is 2 for $8. I told the cashier at the window what I ordered and she said "it's basically the same thing", I said no, it's not, I explained the difference and then she asked if I wanted her to ring it up again. I said no and she offered me some beans which come in the half order of tacos. Yikes, just give a girl what she ordered next time. - Drive thru speaker was not working properly. Their prices are pretty typical for a food truck - I'm happy to pay a little more than I would at a fast-casual or chain place to support a local business run by great people. I've posted pics of their menu from their online ordering site, which you can find here: https://easyeats.xyz/menu/f/ind/fid/487/ What is really awesome about them is their homemade salsas! The have 4 salsa verdes (although the spicy might be red?) to choose from for your order, no spice, mild, medium & hot. I stick with no spice and mild (both have incredible flavor) - the medium is too hot for this güera it was definitely tasty though, but I'm gonna stick to things with a little less burn haha. Try one or all of them with your order, they're happy to give you all you want (within reason, of course!) I personally love getting the steak quesadilla ($10.50) and a carnitas taco ($3). Lime, onions & cilantro come with tacos. Jalapeños, onions & cilantro with other entrees, but you can let them know to remove any if you don't want it. Find their Facebook page to keep up with where they are at! They come to my neighborhood about once a month on a weekday, which I love! So why 4 stars instead of 5? For food trucks, I'd give it 4.5 stars, only because I wish they had a one or two more meat options, and I don't like that they do their nachos on those circular yellow chips that come in giant bags, because my go-to thing to try would be nachos, but I just hate those kinds of chips. And of course, because it's a food truck and their expenses are higher, your dollar doesn't get you as much as you could at a chain or fast-casual concept. So that's not something I could justify spending on too regularly, but happy to do it once a month I see them nearby, because it definitely hits the spot and being a small business is tough and being in the restaurant/food industry makes that tougher. So go support them when they're nearby you soon!
