My wife asked for chorizo tacos... and that's what they brought her; a tortillla filled with chorizo... nothing else. No egg, no potatoes, no cilantro, JUST chorizo. Another first. My son and I ordered barbacoa tacos to go along with our menudo.... The brisket/barbacoa tacos arrived, were eaten, and the plate cleared before the menudo showed up. Oh. And menudo? Yeah. Don't do that. Stop at an actual restaurant. Give this place a wide berth.

Try one or all of them with your order, they're happy to give you all you want (within reason, of course!) I personally love getting the steak quesadilla ($10.50) and a carnitas taco ($3). Lime, onions & cilantro come with tacos. Jalapeños, onions & cilantro with other entrees, but you can let them know to remove any if you don't want it. Find their Facebook page to keep up with where they are at! They come to my neighborhood about once a month on a weekday, which I love! So why 4 stars instead of 5? For food trucks, I'd give it 4.5 stars, only because I wish they had a one or two more meat options, and I don't like that they do their nachos on those circular yellow chips that come in giant bags, because my go-to thing to try would be nachos, but I just hate those kinds of chips. And of course, because it's a food truck and their expenses are higher, your dollar doesn't get you as much as you could at a chain or fast-casual concept. So that's not something I could justify spending on too regularly, but happy to do it once a month I see them nearby, because it definitely hits the spot and being a small business is tough and being in the restaurant/food industry makes that tougher. When my plate arrived, I immediately noticed that the chicken wasn't hot, it was lukewarm at best. I hadn't eaten all day, was really hungry, and the food tasted okay otherwise, so I decided not to complain and ate about 3/4 of the chicken. When our waitress brought our to go boxes, we started talking about everyone's meals. That's when my sister-in-law mentioned that her chicken wasn't hot either and described hers the exact same way: lukewarm. She said it had never been served like that the other times she'd ordered it. At that point we considered saying something, but since we'd already eaten part of our meals, we decided not to. Unfortunately, about 3.5- 4 hours after dinner, I started feeling very sick to my stomach and have now been sick for several hours. I can't say for certain that the meal caused it, but considering the temperature of the chicken, the timing definitely concerns me. It's too late tonight to check on my sister-in-law, but I'll be checking with her first thing in the morning since she ate the same entrée. The rest of the table wasn't overly impressed with their meals either, but the margarita was good. I do want to say that our waitress was great, and we had no issues with her service. My biggest regret is not trusting my gut and sending the lukewarm chicken back when it was first served.
