My husband got fajitas which were decent, we asked for no dairy and they used the sour cream scoop to scoop his pico as you could see on there. I got the chimmi with ground beef. Super salty. The ladies working were really friendly and had our food out at a timely matter. We ordered 2 sopes one of carnitas and one of lengua! They were so delicious and big! I was on a road trip and decided to stop to eat, I ordered 4 tacos (Carnitas, Carne Asada, Chorizo and Al Pastor), rice and chips & salsa. My entire order was phenomenal. The prices are more affordable than a fast food meal, and the flavors are unmatched if you like Mexican Food. The restaurant portion is currently closed due to lack staff since the pandemic, so the orders are takeout only, but the order does not take very long and the food is well worth it. I highly recommend this restaurant.

The moment you walk in, you're greeted with the look and feel of true authenticity. There are two dining areas, and we chose the street-side patio. Here's something I've never seen before: they have a section on the menu specifically labeled "Tex-Mex"! Our waiter, Enrique from Ecuador, was amazing. The chips were fresh, hot, and crispy. They brought out two salsas--one was your classic red, and the other was a warm salsa that was absolutely divine. We finished both! We ordered the Chicken Enchiladas and the Camarones Momia (bacon-wrapped shrimp stuffed with cheese and jalapeños). Hands down, the most flavorful I've ever had. Everything was piping hot and delicious. We ended with a flan for dessert that easily made our Top 5 list. Comfortable, delicious, and amazing. And get this--it's only 1.2 miles from our home. That could be a problem!! Highly recommended!

Our cocktails were all good - and the appetizers were very good. We had the crispy pork belly and the tostaditas with barbacoa. The crispy pork belly was especially delicious and I would order as my own dinner in the future. It comes with onions and sauces and corn tortillas and it's to die for - so crispy and flavorful. We ordered the Bistec enchiladas and they were good but not as good as the appetizers. They give you a variety of sauces when you're seated that you keep throughout the meal - from mild to spicy but I would say the "spicy" is on the mild side. Still good and flavorful but not unapproachable for most ppl. We had the Campechana dessert and it was a little strange. It was basically a vanilla Icecream cake with a crispy waffle cone like layering that was really hard to break until it sat a while. It was oddly addicting but also not that good? I can't explain it. We went to the cigar lounge area after dinner and had Mexican espresso martinis and watched football before heading home. There was little smoke smell but very minimal until it got later. Around 8:30 (on a Saturday night) ppl started smoking cigars and they opened the side windows and being 90degrees right now - it became less enjoyable so we decided to end the night. In the fall that room would probably be quite lovely with the windows open. They have comfortable seating and fire pits. Really more of a 4.5 out of 5. Loved the decor near the restrooms and patio too.
