My family and I tried out Avila Taco after seeing amazing reviews online. The food was alright, but considering the reviews, we expected to be blown away. I also wish they had fountain drinks. I would definitely give it another shot and try something else!

This was a place we were genuinely excited to try, and it absolutely delivered. I love supporting local businesses, and this one is a true GEM. We went on a Saturday around noon and were shocked it wasn't packed, because the food here is phenomenal. The experience started strong right away. As soon as we walked in, we were greeted by the owner, who was incredibly friendly. He asked if it was our first time, and when we said yes, he brought us samples of their birria beef. It was unbelievably tender and seasoned perfectly. After some great conversation, we ordered, grabbed our number, and sat down. We ordered four dishes for five people, the loaded birria nachos, birria tacos, quesabirria, and the birria mac and cheese. Every single item was fresh, flavorful, and filling. We were all full by the end. The meat was fall-apart tender, the consommé was outstanding, and the salsa had just the right amount of heat without overpowering anything. The mac and cheese was rich, cheesy, and cooked perfectly. The restaurant itself was spotless and clearly well cared for. This is a family-run business, and that shows in the best way. During our meal, the owner even came by with his grandbaby, and the whole place just had that warm, family vibe that makes you want to come back. Yes, it's a little more than you might expect to pay, but it is absolutely worth it. The portions are generous and the quality is top-tier, so you leave satisfied in every way. If you haven't been to Avila Taco yet, stop waiting. Do yourself a favor and go immediately.

Every once in a while, you run across a hidden gem. We had been hearing about this place that just opened and decided to give it a shot. It's definitely mom and Pop and they both greeted us and talked to us throughout our dining experience. A quaint little restaurant, but smelled amazing when you walk in. We ordered the Birria taco plate, chips, and queso, street corn. The chips were hot and homemade and delicious, as was the queso. The street corn was out of this world amazing. The flavors popped in your mouth. The Birria tacos are some of the best in the entire metroplex. We've been searching and have tried at least a dozen places, and this is tied with number one. The flavors are unbelievably amazing. We dipped each bite into their sauce and it was amazing every single time we took a bite. You definitely have to come here to try yourself.

This business used to be a food truck that frequented local events. Now they have permanent spot in Keller's eastern business district. The tacos were delicious, I had Tacos Al Pastor, my wife the Carne Asada. Both were great! This family run business treats their customers like family. The interior is modern, clean taqueria look. Our only disappointment was the salsa, it's too gringo-centric, it would be nice if they offered a hotter, more flavorful salsa.

We picked up an order to eat at home and oh my - oh my! How delicious . The nachos and the tacos we ordered tasted freshly made and not aged and gelatinous (as what usually happens with nachos & tacos from other establishments). Already planning on making a return visit to eat inside!

Run -- don't walk -- to Avila. The birria was absolutely delicious, and the service was spot on. The owner was incredibly friendly and even came out to chat with me, which made the experience feel personal and welcoming. A surprising standout for me was the salsa verde -- honestly the best I've ever had. I'll be ordering extra next time without question. They offer both beef and chicken birria (I've only had the beef so far, but the chicken is next on my list), and they serve it in all kinds of fun and creative ways -- including birria grilled cheese and birria mac and cheese. I'm already looking forward to my next visit. Avila Taco is a must-stop in Keller and a place I'll be returning to time and time again!

I've wanted to try this place ever since I saw people posting about it on Facebook. They were busy, but attentive. The owner walked around and checked on everyone. The food was delicious. We will definitely be back to try more!

Best birria in the DFW area! I have been to the one in downtown Fort Worth that has a form of a Michelin star. They are good, but this place is better. Atmosphere wise it's a mix between a velvet taco and a taco casa. The staff is well informed and very kind. Try it!

Very good Birria grilled cheese sandwich, comes with fries. This was our first stop at Avila Taco, and we plan to return to try more of the menu. This is a small casual, order at the register spot. The service was very friendly (especially an older gentleman, wish I had gotten his name). Had a pretty good crowd for lunch on a Friday. Check it out.

The food is so good here. I had the quesadilla and loved it. My husband had the Birria grilled cheese and loved it. I wish it was opened on Sunday though.

Glad we stopped here for lunch. The food was delicious and owner was very nice and offered us to try his Birria! It was delicious! The blue corn Sopes trio was unique and would order again. We'll be back!

Gyoza to start that were nice and crispy, could have done with more than the teaspoonful of sauce we were given though. Maximum tea points, hot green tea that tasted delicious and was served in the cutest little pot I've seen in a while. It was a terrible pourer though, but the waiter warned me and put some napkins on the table to clean up. The ramen was quite disappointing, I know how spoiled I currently am with the memory of Ichibahn burned into my brain, but...these were quite pricey and not that good. The broth was lightly flavored with little depth, the beansprouts and corn (why are these in my ramen?) Moved the flavour profile even brighter and there was quite a lot of green onion. With a $5 add on for 2 small slices of extra pork that's a $20 bowl. So yes, 3 stars. They have bottled Kirin so I might be back, but I will be exploring the other menu items.

I walked in and it was clean and bright. I was told to sit anywhere and was quickly brought a menu. The service was very good. You pick the type of ramen you want, and then choose your broth. There isn't a lot of variation between the types. Mostly just your protein or vegetarian options. They all come with corn, green onion, black mushrooms, and bean sprouts. There are no options to add bamboo or bok choy but you can add extra toppings of meat or spice. The ramen was pretty good. Salty. The tonkotsu broth didn't have the richness I was expecting and the corn was not very good quality and there was a lot of it. Also the noodles are VERY thin. I did add the spice, which was nice. All in all it was a good lunch but it won't be my regular ramen spot.

The atmosphere was very clean and well maintained. I have two cons: They clean the tables themselves so a couple of tables still had plates on the when we arrived and when we left they still weren't picked up. You order at the counter and they bring the food to your table. With the ramen, you have the option to customize the type of ramen bowl they offer along with different soup bases. I was happy to see they had a garlic ramen with tonkatsu soup option. There's also a variety of appetizers, rice bowls, other noodle dishes, and desserts. They even have Korean street foods such as tteokbokki, pancakes and buldak stir-fried noodles. Along with my ramen, I ordered the sweet and spicy chicken karaake. The texture of the meat tasted like a meatball or ground chicken. While I liked the ramen in general, the soup was a bit on the salty side and that's coming from someone who likes her food salty. My friend didn't think so and literally slurped her bowl to the last drop. I will likely return to try other items on the menu, especially with it being so close to home. It's nice to have a ramen option nearby. They also offer bingsu which looks to be a smaller to-go version that looks interesting to try.

The place was empty when we we came, 530p on a Wednesday. Took a seat and were waited on immediately (obviously) and browsed the menu. They had several "special" rolls and then their standard options too, but I'm talking at least 40 different options...so we took our time. We started with a 2025 roll and a Hawaii roll. Both had about 7-8 pieces and were decent size. Not super big and not small, definitely fair for the price. Both were really, really good, and more importantly, tasted fresh! We added a 2020 roll as a finisher and it too was really good. A few other people showed up during our dinner. They have good lounge, house music playing and its very clean inside. We'll definitely be back soon. Price, quality, service are all excellent. This place is closed on Mondays.

I ran across Little Lily Sushi Too and decided to give it a try. I ordered the Tuna Tower, spicy tuna roll, the chicken kaarage appetizer and a miso soup (to go). I was greeted warmly upon entering, and my food was prepared quickly and packaged securely. It's the only time I've ordered a Tuna Tower (from any sushi restaurant in the last 4 years) that remained intact and beautifully presented when I unpacked my order. Everything was delicious and prepared with skill and care. I love the flavor of the lump crab in the tuna tower (most places use imitation crab, which is tasty, but is less refined tasting than what I ordered today). The spicy tuna roll definitely had a bit of a "kick", in a good way. And not a mayo-based spicy tuna. The chicken kaarage was very tasty, though it lost a little bit of the crunchy batter texture from the drive back to my home. But very flavorful, and the chicken was tender and juicy. The miso soup had a richness to the flavor...very comforting for a cold evening. I'm glad I found this gem in the Keller area! I'm looking forward to trying some of their other menu items in the future.

Atmosphere is cute, definitely nice for a date night with the ambient lighting and cute floral decor. The food was a huge win for us along with the LARGE beer glasses that come out nice and frosted (ask for the coldest glasses). We enjoyed the octopus salad, chicken kaarage, some fried fish that came on the house, super philidelphia roll, crawfish roll, softshell crab, chicken katsu don, and salmon skin handroll. Everything was really great quality and quantity. My top favorites for the night were the octopus salad, a great combonation of seaweed salad, octopus, and cucumber salad. Extremely flavorful and a great way to start the night. The chicken kaarage was beautifully battered, not too heavy and very well seasoned, pairing well with the sauce that accompanied it. The soft shell crab... was one of the best I've had in DFW! I honestly was tempted to order more because it was nicely fried (seriously a great batter) and the light sauce helped amplify the flavor of the crab. Yummmm! The salmon skin handroll was tasty and crunchy with a nice balance of flavor. I think the key is making sure you eat from the sides and have a bit of the center with each bite, since the sauce is centralized there. If not I can see it being too salty for some.
