Every single thing we ate was absolutely AMAZING!!! Holy moly. I've had poke in different places in the US including the Hawaiian Islands and this place is TOP TIER. I HIGHLY recommend this spot. I had the Spicy Tuna Bowl, Spam Masubi, and Jalapeño Poppers. My boyfriend had the Ebi Ebi Poke bowl Takoyaki and Spam and LOVED it. This will definitely be our new Poke spot. Probably one of the top Poke spots I've had. All very fresh and the flavors were so good. Ahi Poke was a little spicy and sweet. The service was great. read more

Had a desperate craving for sushi. Poke Stop was one of the few sushi joints open on a Sunday. I don't eat sushi very often (I used to live in the desert - it was never fresh). I ordered a crunchy roll online for pick up, and my order was ready quickly. The crunchy roll was very good. Tasted fresh. A bit sweet. Great price. The one roll was enough to fill me up for lunch. read more

Fathers Day bust: Zero stars and a call to food health safety. Walked in, smelled musky. Waitress on phone behind the line no biggie- no hello nothing-didn't even set my kid and purse down she says "what do you want to drink" while literally picking her ear, removes her finger looks at it and wipes it on her shirt. I'm processing what just happens while saying "water please-" and she walked back into the kitchen. We walked out. Take what you want from that. I think other reviewers must be getting deliveries or take out. Hope y'all have a blessed non-sick day! read more

Pretty disappointed. I noted on my order, called ahead, and even triple-checked when picking up that there'd be no sesame because I have an allergy. Got home and both kimchi fries had sesame seeds on them. I called to ask for a refund and the manger became argumentative and I was told it wasn't their fault and that they would only partially refund me. I did everything I could to notify them about my allergy and my allergy just wasn't taken seriously. Sad because I used to come often and enjoyed the food. Horrible customer service. read more

Since the movie theater had a power outage. We decided to pivot for some sushi and ramen. In searching from between grapevine and Saginaw, we we found a place called Poke Stop. The pictures seemed to hit all the spots and after double checking on here, we decided to go! Very glad we did! It's a small spot inside a strip mall (which by the way had everything you could want, food wise) but is clean and well lit. The staff was super friendly and the service was quick. It was pretty packed when we went as well as a continuous line of to go orders, and there was still no delays in my service or food. Everything was superb! We had some of the delicious appetizers, the calamari and the kimchi fries. All piping hot when served. My husband got the spicy ramen and I built my own poke bowl. The ramen was flavorful and filling, the broth was thick and hearty. The poke bowl was huge! The bowl looks small, but it's a thin bowl so the content capacity was massive. So many fresh cubes of fish and plentiful heaps of the toppings. Although we were upset about our cancelled plans. We're so glad to have stumbled upon this place that is closer to home! We will definitely be back for casual dinner dates and with friends! read more

We got the spicy miso and tonkatsu with calamari and a rainbow roll. They served the rainbow roll (raw fish) underneath hot dishes in a single bag. This resulted in very warm sushi that we didn't feel safe consuming. We reached out and asked to have this refunded as the roll went straight to the trash. The tonkatsu broth was fine but lacked depth. It was one note the entire way through. The pork was offputting enough to make me wish that I had excluded it from my order entirely. The calamari had the most potential but was about 90% overcooked. We managed to find 2 rings that didn't come out like jerky. We wouldn't come back, but maybe it was just a very, very off night. read more

I'm actually from Hawaii and I was craving poke so bad so I found this place. It's actually decent. It satisfied my cravings. The taste is what satisfied me but other than that I wish they're could've been more fish rather than the other stuff but again it was good! Price is not too bad and the portion itself got me full. I just found my new favorite place. Once again I've been missing out on such a hidden gem that I've overlooked. Make sure you have a mask. They are insisting on wearing when you walk in but by no way does it take away from the food or experience. The staff here is super friendly and helpful. So we started with two orders of the egg rolls. Each order comes with two. Sorry, but they were so good I didn't get a chance to capture a picture before devouring them. So crispy on the outside and absolutely homemade. Super scrumptious! I ordered the Atlantis that is Poke with raw salmon. Filled me up and tasted oh so good! I'm not a big spicy food fan but the jalapeño was very mild. My better half had the Godzilla sushi roll that's spicy tuna, salmon, crab and cream cheese. She had to fight me off after I tried one. Next time I'm ordering that. Every bite was a little taste of heaven. We can't wait to visit again soon! read more

Service was prompt. Edamame was very good. Gyoza are deep fried, but good. The sauce was super cute and tasty. We tried the shoyu Ramen and added extra pork. The broth was very unremarkable. I've never really had ramen like this. So it was pretty good but bland. I had to add chili oil. I got the Tonkotsu ramen, grandson loves ramen and he got miso xtra spicy. His friend got another kind I didn't get pics of both Extra spicy pork. Hubs got sukiyaki beef ramen. He really liked it. Maybe it's a thing, but the mushrooms were like grisly black things. Couldn't chew them. I love mushrooms but these were gross. The place was beat down a bit. It's definitely a hole in the wall, but I think they could try harder to fix it up nicer at the prices they charge. I was told by the ramen connoisseur that it was just ok. We also got the mexican sushi and slammin' salmon sushi. Honestly it was just ok. No better than decent grocery stores. They have no real silverware or plates. The plastic forks were super flimsy like dollar store kind. The spoon was hard plastic and better. Chop sticks disposable wooden kind. Standard. All plates were disposable. Kind of a bummer honestly. Nothing what so ever was special. I really wanted it to be as it's as expensive as some MUCH NICER WELL RATED PLACES, but they were all closed. 4 ramen. 2 sushi's and 2 cokes. 2 plain teas with tip 110$. Again it's ok but for the price, I probably won't go back to this place. Waitress busted her butt and she seemed all alone and they were busy. Seems Sunday most ramen places are closed and this is what the teen wanted for his birthday dinner. I didn't get a pic of slammin' salmon, but it was about half the portion of the Mexican sushi. So about 5 pieces. The photos in other reviews show wasabi, ginger, and lots of goodies on top of sushi, and normal nice plates. Ours didn't have any of that. Super bummed out. Also it was 45-59 degrees outside and they had the air conditioning blasting. With vents over all the tables there was no where to hide. When we asked if they could turn it up, they said it was 74 degrees. Ummm ya no. 64 maybe. Probably warmer in kitchen area then in dining area. Waitress 4 stars. Food 2-3 depending on what you ordered. Ambience 1. To management. Up your game. You can't compete this way. You've raised prices 4$ in ramen, but downgraded everything we got compared to what I see on other photos. read more

From the outside, this place doesn't look like much, but the food is worth a stop. We started with the gyoza, which was very good. The orange marmalade had a good amount of heat to it and the dumplings were fried perfectly. I had the Shoyu Ramen, which was also very good. The broth was really flavorful, lots of scallions (my preference), and the pork was cooked very well. I opted for the spicy Shoyu, which probably my only slight complaint was wishing it was a little spicier. BUT, definitely did not detract at all from the deliciousness and flavor. The food came out fast, which was also a huge plus and our server was quick and kind. Overall, very good experience for a Sunday afternoon lunch on our way to run some errands. The Spicy Ahi is my go-to whenever I'm craving poke! I've been going here for YEARS! I love their cute little restaurant, it feels very intimate, perfect for a date night or just catching up with friends! Service is always great & food comes out fast (5-10 mins.). The only reason why I'm giving it a 4/5 is that from time to time, the food is a little inconsistent & would taste different. Not really sure what it is. But here's a couple of pictures throughout the years (pictures are from most recent to oldest). read more

Kind staff, bowls always good and fresh. Good prices sushi rolls, easy for pick up. Smallish seating area

Went to Poke Stop for lunch and wasn't wow'ed- it was just OK. Restaurant was clean and well kept- it is a bit small but plenty of seating. I opted for a bowl on the menu, which came with tuna, salmon, edamame, peppers, and rice. Portion was a bit smaller than I had expected.. pictures shown on the menu was far more substantial than what you actually get. The salmon tasted fresh, but the tuna definitely felt a bit older and sinewy. Could be the time of day/week I went, but took a little bit away from the bowl. If you're looking for a quick fix as far as Poke Bowls, this place isn't a bad option, but if you are picky with portion size with respect to price, and seafood quality you may seek other options. read more

On a rainy day when you're craving ramen... yum. This really hits the spot. On a regular day when you want to eat healthy, have some poke! Cut fresh when you order! Or like me, have both in one sitting!!! I've tried a lot of tonkotsu ramen, I think this is one of my favorites. It has a lot of rich flavors. I could drink all the broth. The chasu is big cuts and most of the time soft. I think once it was a little burnt. You get a whole egg in this bowl. You'd think that would be a given, but it's not. Some places jip you of your egg. I also love the corn they have in this ramen bowl. I don't see that often, but I do love the corn addition. Poke- another fresh favorite of mine! You can choose from their selections or create your own bowl. I like to create mine and pick my sauces. I do have to say the sauces are a hit and miss sometimes. Definitely don't like the sweet chili sauce- Too sweet. But I do like the shoyu or ponzu sauce. The fish cuts are fresh and cut when you order. I know in Hawaii, they're usually already marinated in batches in diff sauces. But this makes it nice if you like lightly sauced , And you are not limited too the fish of the day. The service is nice. They recognize me and my friend coming in now even though it's been 3x. This little place is gaining popularity. When we first came, there wasn't a lot of full tables. Now the place is packed! Of course rainy days do make me crave ramen! read more

If you have no choice and are craving poke bowl badly, or you've never had Japanese food, this place is decent. Their service is great but the hybrid poke bowl and the takoyaki were super bland and very small portion. I was missing avocado, and the fish looked genuinely fake. Who knows, maybe I'm wrong although I've had raw sushi for more than a decade. The takoyaki was missing mayo and stingy on the bonito flakes. read more

Food and customer service is always awesome. My kids and I have love this place! Food is always great quality!

So I've never had a poke bowl before. Nor has my wife. We've had more than our fair share of sushi and sashimi, but never this Hawaiian version of raw fish. So what exactly is a poke bowl? Google tells me this, "Poke means "to slice or cut" in Hawaiian and refers to chunks of raw, marinated fish -- usually tuna -- which is then tossed over rice and topped with vegetables and umami-packed sauces." Sounds pretty yummy, and it was. Poke Stop is a cute, intimate, place. On our Friday night visit, it was a mostly Asian crowd. Coupled with the frosted front windows, I could easily forget I was in Fort Worth, Texas. After looking over the menu (and spotting the free egg-roll offer for a Facebook check-in, sorry Yelp!), we selected the following: Spicy Ahi - Spicy Tuna Mix, Krab, Avocado, Seaweed Salad, Futokaki, Masago, Scallion, Nori, Fried Onion (Spicy Mayo, Eel Sauce) on White Rice - $12 Atlantis - Spicy Salmon Mix, Mango, Jalapeno, Cilantro, Tomato, Cucumber, White Sesame Seeds, Tempura Flakes (House Chili, Sesame Oil, Ponzu And Hawaiian Sea Salt on White Rice - $12 Both very good. Great melding of flavors. Price for quantity seemed a little, but not crazy high. Godzilla attacking Dallas is a cool mural. Thankfully not Fort Worth, yet. One thing I wish I would have done was subbed the brown rice for the white rice, at the bottom of each bowl. The free egg roll distracted me. Check the specials card on the table to see if this offer is still on. Plus one star for that! Bottom line: A very tasty first for us. read more

One so-so visit + one fantastic visit = 4 stars. First and foremost: the wasabi crusted salmon roll. YOU MUST. Fresh cooked salmon, nice crunch without being overwhelming or greasy. This was one of the best sushi rolls I have ever had (though it needed a bit of soy sauce at the table). Second: the egg rolls. Normally such a throwaway, right? Not these. Packed with minced pork, shatteringly crisp, and served with an orange dipping sauce. I feel like I could make a meal out of about a dozen. Also recommended: the tonkotsu ramen. It's not perfect. The broth is delicious, but not quite rich enough and not served piping hot. And I would have preferred the curly ramen noodles to the straight but that's a personal preference. However, the pork was suuuper flavorful and plentiful and the egg was nice and soft to nearly gooey. The one mediocre item I've had, funny enough, is the poke bowl. I built my own and thought I did a nice, simple job of it so I could appreciate the fish. But nothing tasted spectacular and it just felt skimpy and bland. However, I will give them another shot and try a signature bowl, just like I did with Below 40, where I ended up liking their house bowls much more than my build your own. Prices are okay, maybe on the slightly high end. Service was... well, the first time, I got a to-go order and the people who helped me at the counter were so cranky and disengaged it actually stood out to me. I don't know. Maybe they were having an off night. But the second time, when I dined in, everyone was super friendly! Every single person. The owner also chatted with me and all the other patrons as much as he could when he wasn't in the kitchen. Great local spot and I will definitely return for more. read more

The service is very good and my only complaint is I'd like a little more in a serving - but I understand. The Poke Stop is only open for carry-out right now, but we've called in our order twice and everything is ready when I arrive and well packed, so the food is just as enjoyable at home as dine in.
