Well it was time for my girlfriend's birthday dinner and she decided she was in the mood for Korean barbecue and after her exploring this is the place she decided on. It's located in Hurst in a little strip mall that's mostly empty but you can see the concentration of business and cars in the corner on the side where this restaurant is, when we first walked in we both noticed a bit of a strange smell like I would describe as mildew and I think that's because they were running two portable air conditioner units inside so I don't think this is something that's on the regular and after we sat down neither of us noticed it again. As we walked in I also noticed That this place has a nice little cozy feel to it with some interesting decor, beautiful paintings on the wall and kind of an old school feel which I enjoy, there's an upstairs section that's pretty cool looking also where you can have private events or family style gatherings. Right off the bat the service was very friendly and attentive, we ordered two appetizers the shrimp Yakitori and an order of the pork and vegetable egg rolls both appetizers were fresh and delicious, I also had upon the servers recommendation their honey lemon ice tea which was very good. For our entrees My girlfriend ordered the spicy beef bulgogi and I ordered the spicy pork bulgogi, our food came out in a timely manner and was fresh and hot. The portion size was very good and I was happy to see the ratio of meat to vegetable was about 90% meat to 10% vegetable which is what I expect in a bulgogi. Overall I really liked this place and if I'm in Hurst I wouldn't hesitate to drop back in for some more delicious Korean food at Yori! P.s. No table grills just FYI

The image shows a Korean meal with a large bowl of spicy soup containing vegetables, seafood, and green onions, served on a wooden table. Next to it is a bowl of plain white rice, with several small side dishes including kimchi, pickled vegetables, and other traditional Korean banchan. The setting appears to be a restaurant with a dimly lit interior.

This place is fine. It's a bit dark inside but beautifully decorated and definitely a different vibe from what you think you're getting based on the outside of the building. It must have been a quiet night here as I was one out of maybe 3 diners at 6pm on a Saturday night. But once greeted, the service was friendly and for the most part left me alone. I ordered the seafood tofu soup and an appetizer of pork belly skewers. I originally was hoping for the jjajangmyeon but they no longer carry that menu item so I settled for some tofu soup on a chilly rainy day. It hit the spot and came out bubbling. No real complaints but also nothing that stood out to me especially. It'll do in a pinch and you didn't have to drive all the way to Carrollton

Fried calamari - Fried calamari rings and tentacles are presented in a metal tray lined with paper. The dish is topped with a sauce and garnished with chopped herbs, possibly parsley. The background shows a textured tabletop and part of a smartphone, indicating a casual dining setting, likely at an Asian fusion restaurant.

Had a fantastic Sunday dinner at Yori in Hurst. Every time we come back it's a memorable visit and we leave stuffed! On this visits order we had egg rolls, fried calamari (our favorite), seaweed soup (on the house, such a nice gesture), and the Grilled Bossam. Everything was so good. I loved the seaweed soup. It was super hot and comforting and I loved the salty broth and velvety seaweed. The Grilled Bossam is grilled pork belly with different salads- cucumber, a shredded lettuce with a sweet vinegar dressing, and bean sprouts. Along with the 6 sides of different pickles and fermented veggies and steamed rice. We left so full and happy! We also took a lot of our food home. The service and atmosphere is impressive. I love the vibe of the restaurant- it's dim and intimate. Great for a date night (and perfect for Valentine's Day- we went one year and it was fantastic!) I would recommend Yori over and over again! If you're looking for delicious Korean food give them a shot!

    Yummy!!!

Wonderful Korean food! Definitely hits the spot. We love the little appetizers and the Bim Bim Bop! Excellent place!

What a darling little restaurant the outside doesn't do it justice Yori is so pretty. I love the wall murals, dim lighting and romantic decor. The food is good. I had the Bulgogi Bibimbap and the bulgogi was very good, the rest of the ingredients were fine although. I did wish the spicy sauce on the table would have been more flavorful but overall I'm happy with the dish and would order again. Service was polite and accommodating. I found the radish appetizer to be overpriced and I didn't like or understand the spices sprinkled on top. If this restaurant can unite with the other businesses on this strip to get the parking lot updated this little dining and retail corner has tons of potential. Great place for a date night or renting out the top floor for private party.

If you want korean bbq but dont want the hassle of cooking it yourself we definitely recommend coming to Yori, the food always come out hot, fresh and flavorful. Our servers are always friendly and attentive. The perfect spot for a cozy date night, we love it here.

Yori is a nice spot in the same shopping center as Art Castle, Texas star bakery & Thai Thip. The restaurant is on the darker side, but I really like some of the decoration choices that they made, like with the light up trees. Food was decent enough, and service was great during our visit ... though we were the only ones having lunch as dine in vs a number of Togo. They have an area that works for groups, that I hope to be able to check out some time.

Yori is a nice restaurant in the mid-cities area. The inside of the restaurant has some really nice theming. They have an upstairs area that you can reserve for a larger group, which is a nice plus. Service was really good during our visit. We had ended up being the only ones dining in during our lunch, but they had a good number of Togo during our visit. Food was tasty and came out in a reasonable time.

I ordered this when I was really craving some high quality food, and the Galbi looked very appealing. I was unfortunately disappointed that the food was cold upon arriving to me from Uber Eats, and the serving size was not what I expected for the price and based on the picture online. The food tasted good just left a little to be desired, so I would likely choose another meal when trying this location again.

First time visiting Yori Asian Fusion Bistro today with my roommate. I love small bistro and its quaint decor. It has more formal than casual ambiance...more date night restaurant. The place is dimly lighted. The service was very nice and friendly. We were greeted right away and had choice of table. I ordered kimchi jjigae (pork) and spicy pork bulgogi. My roommate ordered spicy gyoza and chicken fried rice and hotteok pancakes. My food was delicious. I enjoyed both the kimchi jjigae and pock bulgogi. My roommate said his food was good. He said that he had better chicken fried rice but it was good. He said that spicy gyoza sauce was delicious. He said the pancakes were delicious.

A bowl of clear, possibly Asian-style broth with a black spoon resting inside is placed on a wooden table. Next to it is a small metal cup filled with white rice. The setting appears to be in a restaurant or dining area with a warm, wooden surface.

Yori Korean, tucked away in a spot I'd never really noticed before, turned out to be a pleasant surprise. The restaurant has a really cool vibe, with a unique theme that immediately grabbed my attention. There's an upstairs area that looked intriguing, though I didn't get a chance to check it out definitely worth a peek next time! The service was great, and the food didn't disappoint either though some things are a bit pricey. Everything I tried was solid and left me feeling satisfied. If you're in the area, I'd recommend stopping in. It feels like one of those hidden gems in the city that's worth discovering.

    Side dishes- disappointed. Lacked flavor.

This may seem harsh but I was disappointed with the food here. Initially excited this was closer than going to Dallas or Carrollton but I'll make that extra drive next time. Sundubu jjigae ( soft tofu stew)- 2 out of 5 stars : no option to select level of spice and it was way too spicy. Not the full of flavor spicy but the lack of flavor in the broth so just add lots of gochugaru ( korean red pepper spice). Seafood was lacking and filled with mostly green onions. Side dishes were flavorless except for the pickled cucumbers. I look forward to these side dishes when I get Korean food. Galbi ( spare ribs)- 4 out of 5 stars: a tad on the pricey side 29.99 for this dish. Chicken Katsu ( fried chicken cutlet)-3 of 5 stars. Rice: 2/5 stars. tough to make this wrong ? It was dry and not cooked well. Make a few small adjustments and this place has potential. Service was fine, didn't experience the same issues as the other yelp reviews.

Alright now, this place is a gem!…read more I work with someone who raves about this place, and I finally decided to try it. Walking in, the young lady at the register was so sweet and pleasant. I had an online order and arrived a bit early, she politely let me know there would be a little wait, and I did not mind. I would, much rather wait, than walk in twenty minutes early to see my food just sitting there. It is a small space, but one that comes with warmth. What I chose: Mixed Plate Teriyaki Beef - The first bite, YES! The meat was seasoned so well, I was afraid the teriyaki sauce would overtake the flavor; it didn't. Both, the sauce and the seasoning complemented each other very well. The beef was thinly sliced and free of fat. I can't stand enjoying a bite, and out of nowhere, boom, a piece of fat. I'm not a beef person, but I'm so happy I tried something different. Hamburger Steak: I couldn't wait to try this, it's delicious! The patty is plenty and well seasoned; it isn't heavily seasoned, but well seasoned. It was juicy and not dried out, which sometimes happens. The gravy was perfect, and went perfectly with the meat patty. Next time, I will ask for more gravy and onions. I love grilled onions with meat patties. With my order, I asked for steamed veggies, but received rice instead. I don't eat rice often, but this is the one time I was happy with the mishap. I had a small bit with the gravy and patty, delicious!! Sides: Mac Salad and Rice - I didn't order rice; instead, it should have been steamed veggies. As I said above, the rice ended up being a great mishap; it was perfect with my meat patty and gravy. The mac salad, sadly, I didn't like. It wasn't horrible, it just didn't hit the right taste buds. Chocolate Mac Nut Cheesecake: I only tasted a spoonful of this, but it was good. I wouldn't get it again, for me, it was too sweet. They do have another cheesecake, which looks like a plain cheesecake, with a sauce on top. That, I will try. Spam Musubi: There seems to be more rice than what I am used to, so I cut it in half, and it made for the perfect bite. This was more than enough food; I have plenty to take to work for lunch and will have more to enjoy for dinner. I am so happy I visited. I will definitely visit periodically for a hamburger steak, and I am anxious to try their panko shrimp. Add them to your list, it is a must!!

I love guava and their confection was perfection. I seriously still think about it and can't wait to come back and try it again. I also got the wings, which were crispy and super favor full. We love sushi and ramen/asian type food. Well, this place was a HUGE disappointment. My husband ordered the beef ramen. The broth tasted off and the beef had no flavor and was WAY overcooked and rubbery. He had one bite/sip of all of it and was done. My son had the sushi. You can see how much he ate of it. The inside of one of the rolls was hard (shrimp) and the meat on the other one was not cooked right and tasted horrible. The worst part is that the employees could care less. One of them came over and asked if we wanted our ramen to go when clearly it hadn't been eaten. I said, "no thank you. My husband didn't like it." He just turned around and walked off. Then when the bill came a different server came over and asked if we wanted to go boxes. We said no, we didn't like any of the food. He looked puzzled, said nothing, and walked away waiting for us to pay. We did not want our meal for free but would've appreciated someone asking if we even liked the food since clearly we didn't eat it. But no, we payed our $100 and left. And we will never be back.
