We were able to walk right in and get a table. Our waitress was attentive and kind even though she could work on her food placement skills as she would put our plates where they were hard to reach but nothing we couldn't fix ourselves, perhaps just needs some experience. The ambience is quiet with some music playing in the background every now and again. We had a choice to order food or go for the buffet and chose to order our own meals. The food is absolutely delicious, the garlic naan bread? Oh my goodness what a delight. The portions served are big and hot and fresh and I could keep going but I what I came here to say is... give this restaurant a shot, they will not disappoint you!

Great lunch buffet with all my favorites! Good service, nice atmosphere and the food was excellent especially given the late hour of our lunch visit at 2pm, midweek.

One of the best meals I've had since being back in the states. We was driving by and husband saw "taste of" and immediately turned around. In our experience, usually any restaurant that is taste of something is usually good (except asia). But anyway. Its a small place. Wasn't busy at all. The chutney were tasty. I got the goat tas which was stir fried spice goat. Came with beaten rice and vegetables. So good. We got that to share and fish. The fish on the menu is Bagaicha Pame style fish. It came on a sizzling platter like fajitas do. The fish was seasoned and spiced up well. A meal that I truly enjoyed. Will definitely come back.

Taipo is a little speakeasy restaurant behind a hidden entrance and it's a fun vibe, especially for date night. We stopped in one evening and Rasham was bartending while Mia was shadowing on her first day but her actions let us know she's an industry pro - which she was. They both gave great recommendations for food and drinks. We got Nepali Reaper Momos, Sichuan momos, chicken chow mein, mango habanero tofu, an old fashion and a strawberry margarita. Everything was flavorful, but my favorites were the Nepali-style fries, the sichuan momos, and the chicken chow mein. The reaper momos were good but they were pretty spicy (coming from people who ordered most of the spicy things on the menu haha). The interior was ornate and beautiful but again, the service is what couldn't be beat. Rasham went above and beyond to provide an experience for us showering us with bubbles for a nice photo and adding some flare and glitter to my strawberry margarita. Mia was knowledgeable of their menu and overall nice to talk to while we sat and ate at the bar. Definitely recommend this place and can't wait to come back soon!

My kids ecah ordered a bento box, and they loved it. My 12yo hardly ever eats the egg rolls, but this time he did. He got the Orange Chicken Bento, and there was plenty of food in it. In fact, he ate about half, which leaves him enough for an afterschool snack. Perfect. My husband ordered the Beef Broccoli plate, and it looked and smelled delicious. Again, plenty of food. He also ordered a Cali roll, which was really good. My other son ordered the Sweet and Sour Bento, and ate pretty much all of it. He said it was way better than from the place we usually order from. That's high praise from him. I ordered a couple of sushi rolls, one without rice and one with. Both tasted very fresh, and were plated very well, considering it was a takeout order. I was happy with what I got. I'm sure we will order again, or probably go there and check out the location. My guys are interested in trying the Bubbe Tea. So, I will add to this review when we do. Otherwise, it was a good meal. Enough food that everyone got their fill, plus a little.

It had an interesting wok flavor. Almost BBQ-ish. Nothing fancy. Just rice, peas, carrots. Egg roll - very standard. Pot sticker (fried) - LOVED. Like, super delicious. Scallop roll - it was okay. Gold Dragon Roll - again, just okay. It was really soggy because of how dense it was. Crab Rangoon - served in big puffy shells. Not a fan. The inside felt more like slaw, rather than creamy. Alright now, this place is a gem!…read more I work with someone who raves about this place, and I finally decided to try it. Walking in, the young lady at the register was so sweet and pleasant. I had an online order and arrived a bit early, she politely let me know there would be a little wait, and I did not mind. I would, much rather wait, than walk in twenty minutes early to see my food just sitting there. It is a small space, but one that comes with warmth. What I chose: Mixed Plate Teriyaki Beef - The first bite, YES! The meat was seasoned so well, I was afraid the teriyaki sauce would overtake the flavor; it didn't. Both, the sauce and the seasoning complemented each other very well. The beef was thinly sliced and free of fat. I can't stand enjoying a bite, and out of nowhere, boom, a piece of fat. I'm not a beef person, but I'm so happy I tried something different. Hamburger Steak: I couldn't wait to try this, it's delicious! The patty is plenty and well seasoned; it isn't heavily seasoned, but well seasoned. It was juicy and not dried out, which sometimes happens. The gravy was perfect, and went perfectly with the meat patty. Next time, I will ask for more gravy and onions. I love grilled onions with meat patties. With my order, I asked for steamed veggies, but received rice instead. I don't eat rice often, but this is the one time I was happy with the mishap. I had a small bit with the gravy and patty, delicious!! Sides: Mac Salad and Rice - I didn't order rice; instead, it should have been steamed veggies. As I said above, the rice ended up being a great mishap; it was perfect with my meat patty and gravy. The mac salad, sadly, I didn't like. It wasn't horrible, it just didn't hit the right taste buds. Chocolate Mac Nut Cheesecake: I only tasted a spoonful of this, but it was good. I wouldn't get it again, for me, it was too sweet. They do have another cheesecake, which looks like a plain cheesecake, with a sauce on top. That, I will try. Spam Musubi: There seems to be more rice than what I am used to, so I cut it in half, and it made for the perfect bite. This was more than enough food; I have plenty to take to work for lunch and will have more to enjoy for dinner. I am so happy I visited. I will definitely visit periodically for a hamburger steak, and I am anxious to try their panko shrimp. Add them to your list, it is a must!!

And quite frankly, it was quite pricey for what we got. Next, the cleanliness of the restaurant definitely could have been better. My daughter lost her first tooth at that pub, such good memories of years past. There are still Guinness signs hanging behind the bar. Seeing those old signs brought a single tear to my eye. One door closes and another opens. The restaurant that now calls the old pub their new home is great! All is good with the new place, you might even say great. The interior is not that of a pub anymore. It has been completely redone and the dining room is quite nice. I wouldn't call it a quiet cozy little romantic restaurant, but it could be if that's what you need. I would be willing to take my kiddos to the new restaurant, as long as the six-year-old boy is acting like a human on the day we decide to go. There is a full bar too. I feel that anyone can stop in for any occasion a fit right in. I don't remember the names of the dishes that my wife and I had for dinner but the food was very good. We kept it simple and we both had chicken dishes. If you want to step out and explore culinary culture they offer many appealing options. The food was fresh and light. The spices that they use are aromatic and flavorful. I am guessing that there is a strong Nepali influence.
