Open only about six months, Limbu Kitchen has already added to their menu. Taas noodles with chicken is one of my favorite new options. There are also several paneer dishes for those who don't eat meat (or, like me, just love paneer). Don't overlook the potato dishes like alu mutter. Everything I've had has tasted fresh and savory, and the service is always friendly. You can get as adventurous as you want here - maybe buffalo for dinner? - but they now have four Indian classics (including tikka masala and butter chicken) and fried rice for those who want something more familiar. Drinks were too small unless you get tea or water. Some items were not cooked all the way and I was told its packages precooked so it wasn't their fault and they insisted it was cooked even though I was clearly seeing blood. They served your food not at at the same time so if youre going in a group you all will be eating at different times since the food took forever to get almost as if they cooked one dish at a time. Me and my friends will never go to this restaurant again, Nepal food is definitely not something I'd ever want to try again after this experience. Not sure how it has high ratings . To respond to the business owners response below. I sent the chicken wings back and they actually brought it back to me with the blood showing saying it's fine and safe to eat. From my understanding in a normal standard service, if I sent something back because my child didn't feel safe to eat it, It doesn't go to the cook and then same set of uncooked wings returned to my table with a scientific explanation. It should be sent back and left there. And I shouldn't be charged for it because it was the first wing opened and shown with blood and I shouldn't have to go off what you "ensured" based off your assumption. I'm not risking my child's safety because you said so. That's not considered good customer service. I've been to small mom and pop restaurants before and I assure you this has never occurred to me or anyone I know. read more

Nepalese and definitely worth the stop. The restaurant itself is tucked away in behind a neighborhood beer store or across from the KFC. So pay attention because it is easy to miss. The service is great. The server immediately recognized my friend and thanked him for his patronage. They discussed the various dishes he has ordered and the new dishes being added to the menu. And that individual service was with a packed house. The food coming out of the kitchen smelled incredible and looked absolutely delicious. I saw several different dishes that I will order in the future. Today I had the dumpling platter (pork) that offered three dumplings prepared four different ways. It was absolutely amazing. For my entree I ordered the lental soup, mild. However, the mild was still a little spicy in my opinion. So I had a side of rice which helped tone down the spice or heat level. The decor itself is much to be desired. Not really any changes made from when it was a Thai restaurant previously. Just a new coat of pain and not very appealing. However, it is not a reason to avoid the business. Some of the best restaurants are tiny unassuming holes in the wall. I will definitely be back. read more

Limbu Kitchen is incredible! It's our new favorite spot! The food is packed with flavor -- tons of spices and fresh herbs. We had the Chicken Lollipop (so good) and the Limbu Sampler, where you get to customize the sampler by picking items from six different menu categories. We've been several times and nothing disappoints! Love the Limbu Daal Bhat, especially when they pour hot butter over the rice! The Daal Thadka (lentil soup) is amazing and their Biryani might be the best we've ever had! The staff is super friendly and great at explaining the menu. It's always busy with Nepalese diners, which says a lot. And it's BYOB! Can't wait to go back!! read more

I went during lunch today and the food tasted great! The staff was friendly and the food came out in a timely manner. It was my first time trying Nepalese food; it's kinda like Indo- Chinese. The food was very authentic; a perfect blend of spices. There were both spicy and non spicy options. My friends and I shared a bunch of different plates so we could try more of the menu.
