    Rice and garlic basil naan

The wife and I stopped in here around 6pm for dinner and we were seated right away. Our waitress "Supriya" came over right away to take our drink orders and explain the menu. Our drinks arrived pretty quickly, but it took a little longer then normal for our meal to arrive. My wife and I ordered the chicken and lamb tikka masala and it was really good and the meat was very tender. The restaurant was very clean and quiet. We will definitely be back for another visit.

Food, service, and ambiance all fantastic. This is an experience - not a simple dinner out. Opened for lunch 10:30am to 2:30pm and they re-open at 5pm. I arrived at 1:45pm and was greeted with a smile by the bartender who was clearly busy with customers at her bar. Nevertheless, she smiled and indicated I could sit anywhere comfy. Wasn't seated long when she approached with a menu and returned with a standard table starter of Papad with tamarind and mint sauces. Prior to entering, there were daily specials posted, so I went for the Raspberry - Pineapple mojito - DELICIOUS! The appetizer was Jhol Chicken Momo, main dish - Chicken Biryani. The appetizer came out after the main dish because it takes longer to cook. Both exceeded my expectations. Super large portions. Now, they give you the option of choosing your level of spicy, and the Biryanis is accompanied by a lovely, cooling yogurt with veggies mixture (on the side) which tempered the heat. Great! The heat does NOT drown out the flavors. Hearty, hot, wholesome, healthy. I loved every bite of these super-portioned meals. On your way out there is Swop - take a small spoonful to freshen your breath and help your digestion.

The food was delicious and the service was excellent. Clean and pleasant inside. Our first time here and we're looking forward to our next visit to try more on the menu.

I had been dragging my feet about going to the new Nanglo Restaurant on N Collins because I have never cared for rice or curries. My friend encouraged me to go to Nanglo and I was blown away! I had the chicken Chow Mein. It was to die for! The free corn chips were light and airy and the green and brown dips were delicious. My friend and I tried the garlic basil Naan--Delicious. My friend had the chicken tikka masala and loved it. I have a new favorite place to go, and it's right across the street from the Viridian, where I live.

This place is a higher end Indian restaurant than others around. We came in the afternoon, and it is peaceful. There is also a bar too. The fried then pan fried chicken momo were delicious! Definitely will be coming back just for this. The curried scallop was flavorful too. I really like dipping the garlic naan into the leftover nanglo chicken curry.

Having lunch at Nanglo India restaurant on N Collins. FB does not know it is here. Buffet lunch $20/ person. Several dishes but still limited on sides Not really impressed but we stuffed our faces anyway. The order menu looks really creative and has good reviews. Should have ordered off the menu. They are family owned and trying hard to make this work. It must be new since it has only a few reviews. There is a steady stream of customers but tables are not packed.

Have enjoyed our two visits for food and service - my husband said he'd like to make this a weekly restaurant stop. High praise.

Fantastic Nepalese/Indian cuisine on Main Street!…read more We stopped by Karma and it did not disappoint! The restaurant is large with a nice bar area and the service was very friendly and efficient! Apps: Chili Momos (Veg) and Gobi Manchurian - the momos were super crispy and the sauce was very spicy in a good way! The Manchurian was so saucy and packed with flavor. Recommend both! Mains: Himalayan Thukpa, Palak Paneer, Malai Kofta - the Thukpa was the highlight! The broth was perfectly salty with a great umami taste. The Malai Kofta was rich and I enjoyed the cheesy koftas. The Palak Paneer was tasty, but I enjoyed the malai and thukpa more! Dessert: Pistachio Cheesecake - delicious! More like a pistachio ice cream cake, but it was so good and not too sweet! Overall, we really enjoyed our meal! Will absolutely be back!

The Himalayan thali was the highlight naan so soft it felt like clouds, and lentil curry that carried deep, cozy flavors. The chowmein with lamb and chicken had that smoky stir-fry kick, and the momos were a joy to try. The butter tikka momos were creamy and rich, while the choila momos with the chef's sauce brought a spicy spark that stayed with me. The drinks matched the season perfectly. The Gurkhas Old Fashioned was smooth with a twist, and the hot rum punch felt like warmth in a glass just right for winter. The place itself was cozy, with a vibe that made me want to linger. Even during busy hours the staff stayed friendly, though the food took a little longer to arrive. Still, the service felt welcoming. Altogether, the mix of food, drinks, and atmosphere made the evening memorable in its own way.

My daughter lost her first tooth at that pub, such good memories of years past. There are still Guinness signs hanging behind the bar. Seeing those old signs brought a single tear to my eye. One door closes and another opens. The restaurant that now calls the old pub their new home is great! All is good with the new place, you might even say great. The interior is not that of a pub anymore. It has been completely redone and the dining room is quite nice. I wouldn't call it a quiet cozy little romantic restaurant, but it could be if that's what you need. I would be willing to take my kiddos to the new restaurant, as long as the six-year-old boy is acting like a human on the day we decide to go. There is a full bar too. I feel that anyone can stop in for any occasion a fit right in. I don't remember the names of the dishes that my wife and I had for dinner but the food was very good. We kept it simple and we both had chicken dishes. If you want to step out and explore culinary culture they offer many appealing options. The food was fresh and light. The spices that they use are aromatic and flavorful. I am guessing that there is a strong Nepali influence. The beauty of the restaurant scene in Arlington is that there is so many different authentic cuisines from very specific regions. If you wanna have Indian food in Arlington you have to consider what kind of Indian food you want. If you go to downtown Fort Worth an Indian restaurant is an Indian restaurant. This little restaurant is a good representation of what Arlington restaurants have to offer. We will go back, soon.

If you are like me, just know that Nepalese has hints of other South Asian flavors like Indian food--richly spiced and layered in flavor, nicely cooked veggies. First off, the atmosphere is great! The restaurant is clean, colorful and welcoming. If you're tall, you may need to duck under the light fixtures. The service is so spectacular-- attentive and friendly. The server really added a special touch to our night. But we're all really curious to know about the food. It. Was. Mind-blowing. No, seriously. It is, without a doubt one of the best places in Arlington. We went with another couple who share my porous food boundaries so we ordered several thing and shared. The best bite was the vegetarian Aloo Cauliflower. Second best bite was the Royal Kofta Ball. We also tried a couple of chicken dishes that were delicious. You know it's a good place when you find yourself craving the Aloo Cauliflower even though it's been less than 48 hours. If you're in Arlington (and even if you aren't). Royal Nepal is Arlington's best restaurant--there, I said it.
