The varied menu and the price point were just right. You pick up a cafeteria tray and point to what you'd like. I opted for the 6 item veggie plate. Portions were very filling! I tried a rocket salad, pita bread, beet salad, lentil soup, hummus and chickpea salad. In other words, a feast!! The food was very good. I also opted for a Diet Pepsi and a baklava. The salads were crispy and delicious - I loved the vinaigrette dressing which was perfectly tart. I wish I'd tried the coffee with my dessert - the baklava was a bit dry. I wish they'd opened a private side room for our party. Our table felt a bit cramped and it was a challenge to scoot into the very long booth seat which was closed off where they pushed tables together. On the whole, a really nice place and I'd definitely return!

Andalous is one of my favorite places to eat in Arlington. It's a cafeteria style restaurant with…read moremany combo plates, salads, meats, veggies and more. A while back I went and the vegetable combo had gone up to $20! Now it's back down to $16 so I'm back. The food is as good as ever. Homemade everything. Two versions of hummus, regular and spicy, and both are delicious! Tatziki, tabouli and garbanzo salad as well as stuffed grape leaves, chicken and beet salad. And hot sides are also available on the veggie plate! Rice pilaf, roasted cauliflower, eggplant and several more. The cauliflower was amazing! If you get a meat they have many but the tenderloin kabab ("beef kabab"") was a huge hit at my table. Cooked to perfection on the charcoal grill. Just fabulous. They've got shwarma, gyro sandwiches and even more delicious meats and the freshest vegetables. The pita bread is fresh from the oven- a steaming hot pillow of goodness. They have several types of canned and bottled drinks including yogurt drink and San Pelligrino, a couple of iced teas, lemonade and various fountain drink choices. No alcohol here. If you have never been, go and if you've been, go back because it's definitely worth the visit. It is a great place to enjoy tasty homemade Lebanese, Mediterranean and Greek food. Oh! One final note: the staff is friendly and welcoming. I felt so comfortable and relaxed because they really make you feel at home .

The good was delicious- we ordered the family style (chicken and lamb) - the girls likes the chicken and the guys go for the lamb and even had a little for the guys to take home. Will definitely come back here. Place is clean, couple booths beautifully decorated. I think when you are in it, it would feel like you are transported to an exotic place... No alcohol here. Only tea (mint), soda and canned drinks or hot water/tea. Come with a positive attitude, you will be delighted! Keep up the great job team Fartoush

We were quickly seated and our orders were taken. For our party of three, we opted for the Combo for Two family meal as well as the Maza Large. The latter was brought out first. It include the falafel, tabooli, hummus, baba ghanoush, and some pita bread. My favorite out of these was definitely the falafel. After not too long of a wait, the meal for the combo came out. The meats, lamb and chicken, were without a doubt juicy and flavorful. Went well with the rice (which I do wish came more with the order). However, the highlight of the night for me was actually the chicken lemon soup. This is my first time ever having it. My first thought was that it would be too lemon-forward. That was certainly not the case. It was still savory and subtly fragrant with lemon instead. Despite all of the food being above average to very tasty as well as the service being superb, the one thing that detracted from the night for me was the breeze every single time the door opened. The weather was particularly cold and windy that day. We weren't the closest to the door but every time someone came in or out, there was a noticeable breeze. I feel that this could have been mitigated if there was a panel that could shield customers from the breeze on these certain days. Regardless, I would still come back for some delicious mediterranean food!
