The good was delicious- we ordered the family style (chicken and lamb) - the girls likes the chicken and the guys go for the lamb and even had a little for the guys to take home. Will definitely come back here. Place is clean, couple booths beautifully decorated. I think when you are in it, it would feel like you are transported to an exotic place... No alcohol here. Only tea (mint), soda and canned drinks or hot water/tea. Come with a positive attitude, you will be delighted! Keep up the great job team Fartoush

We were quickly seated and our orders were taken. For our party of three, we opted for the Combo for Two family meal as well as the Maza Large. The latter was brought out first. It include the falafel, tabooli, hummus, baba ghanoush, and some pita bread. My favorite out of these was definitely the falafel. After not too long of a wait, the meal for the combo came out. The meats, lamb and chicken, were without a doubt juicy and flavorful. Went well with the rice (which I do wish came more with the order). However, the highlight of the night for me was actually the chicken lemon soup. This is my first time ever having it. My first thought was that it would be too lemon-forward. That was certainly not the case. It was still savory and subtly fragrant with lemon instead. Despite all of the food being above average to very tasty as well as the service being superb, the one thing that detracted from the night for me was the breeze every single time the door opened. The weather was particularly cold and windy that day. We weren't the closest to the door but every time someone came in or out, there was a noticeable breeze. I feel that this could have been mitigated if there was a panel that could shield customers from the breeze on these certain days. Regardless, I would still come back for some delicious mediterranean food!

The bad: even though it was just us and one other customer and the food came out quickly, mine was slightly warmer than room temperature. It had grill marks but the inside filling was not. It had lots of taziki sauce in it, but I had to drink after every bite bc the chicken was so dry. I could only eat half of it. Ambiance- it's a small, mostly to go. There is plenty of seating inside and the temperature was nice especially on a hot Texas summer day. On first inspection ot was clean, had pretty good pictures on the wall and beautiful laminate floors. That all I can say for the good. When I went to sit down I fell thru the seat cushion. It was not attached to the chair. When lunch was served I grabbed a napkin from the dispenser to realize there was only one napkin on each side. The next table was the same. No one cares for the maintenance of the place. See the photos. Service- the young woman at the check register was polite but did not say anything unless you asked her. The young g had to have heard me as I fell thru the chair. She was only 5 feet away. The tv was off It was so quiet all you could hear was the humming of the drink fridge. She never investigated or asked if I was ok. I hope the owners read this and work on this or they will be wondering why customers come once and never come back.

When we went in there were only a few people dining and we were a little confused about the seating process. We ended up seating ourselves and the manager/owner? came up and told us he was just finishing up remodeling or something. We were offered a few different menu items, mainly consisting of kabobs. I ended up having the beef kabob which was very good, it came served on a bed of rice with hummus and a small salad. We will definitely go back for another try. Hopefully when we return he will have everything completed. For my first visit I was very happy with the food and would recommend them.

This is what I tried: equivalent of Chicken biryani, Beef Biryani, a lamb/beef curry dish and something like a beef dish in excess sour cream like sauce (not that great)... All the meat is bone in... No boneless dishes which is strange considering it was a weekend and most middle eastern cuisine always had boneless dishes like tikka, seekh kebabs/Reshmi kebabs, tikia etc. Both biryanis were excellent, especially the chicken biryani which tasted a lot like the Indian/Pakistani biryani - if I ever go again it will be solely for the biryani. Another complaint- being a weekend there was no dessert in the buffet. I did not order anything to drink, just the buffet and yet the cashier charged me a dollar extra for samosas(???)...
