Since moving here i had been on the hunt for a Mediterranean spot and i truly believe ive found it. I ordered the combo shwarma plate to go. I got it with hummus and rice. The meat as super flavorful, not too salty. Im used to the rice having a chicken stock flavor, but I really liked that it didnt. It was SUPER fluffy! I loved the toasted almonds on top. The pickles, onions, tomatoes and garlic sauce compliment it all very well. The portion is huge, so I'll def have food for tomorrow. The hummus is good and creamy, I will try a flavor one next time. I also got a small side of tabbouleh... soooooo fresh! The portion is big compared to other places. I will put a protein on top for lunch. I will def make this my go to spot! I was tickled to find a truly authentic Middle Eastern feel inside a restaurant that was obviously built out for a Texas Cowboy place. Does it really matter that there's six shooters and Texas stars? No because there is enthusiastically prepared Lebanese food happening here. We arrived to lively Middle Eastern music, just short of "Lunch special" time in the afternoon and ordered from the regular menu. Take a look at my large portion of Babaganoush! Creamy. Perfect. The pitas arrived in a warmer and were typically good. We also tried their lentil soup. I had the cup, he had the bowl. Mine was a little watery actually and underwhelming. Flat. No flavor. But his had depth and texture. Not sure about how that happened. We both ordered the Iraqui Kabob Sandwich. Nicely wrapped with a tender, juicy and well seasoned kabob, I loved the wrap with Tahini sauce. My husband even ordered a second one!! I will add to the Yelpers that this is indeed a true hidden gem, off the beaten path but absolutely worth finding and dining. They even have a little parking lot, which is always a bonus. I will start with my only minor gripe. Without asking for water, they gave us two Kirkland bottled waters. Since every table had them and we had not asked, I assumed they were complimentary. In fact, I had said I was fine with the water bottle I had brought in with me. On the bill they charged us $1 each. Again, it was only a minor gripe, which stayed minor because the food and service were outstanding. We started with the famous meat pies, but you can mix them up with cheese or spinach as well. They come four to an order, and the waitress suggested two meat and two cheese. Whoa, these were incredible and a definite must order. Next, my man and I split the triple kebob plate with chicken, beef, and kofta. I love kofta, but the chicken might have been my favorite, so tender and perfectly charred. The plate comes with two sides, and we chose salad and hummus. The kebobs also come with a few slices of tomato, pickles, some garlic sauce, and a thin flatbread. Everything was wonderful. The raving online reviews caught my attention and decided to try the restaurant. Convenient location with plenty of parking, the decor of the restaurant catches your attention as you walk in. They have tables, booths, family areas and patio seating. Service was a winner! Amazing staff who gave the perfect food recommendations and prompt service. Now for the food... Whoa! Whoa!! The lentil soup was a nice way to start the meal. Ordered the Famous Pies with meat - the pastry and meat just melts in your mouth with a burst of flavors. Do ask for the garlic sauce, if you enjoy the strong and bold flavors. Highly recommend the Meat Pies. Will definitely try the cheese and spinach pies the next time. For the main course we tried the Kafta Kabob and Beef Kabob with sides of rice, babaganoush and hummus. Both meats were grilled to perfection and the sides were fantastic. Not only did they recommend great dishes, they truly wanted to make sure we enjoyed the food and service. 1 Star. Food - There's a menu item called "Famous Pies". Order this. Quite possibly the best thing I've eaten all year, my meat pie was made of pillowy soft baked dough with tender seasoned meat that melts in your mouth. You get four with your order, and I could have eaten this for my meal. Next up was our server's recommendations: the Beef Kabob and Kafta Kabob. The Beef Kabob was perfectly grilled, cubed, and had a traditional steak flavor. The Kafta Kabob was ground beef with seasoning that gave it a nice Mediterranean flavor. We've had a few other Mediterranean restaurants in the area, but Beirut Grill tasted amazing and for what we paid, was worth every dollar. It was only $49 and we had LOTS of food to take home, and we were very hungry as well. Not to mention that they gave us some delicious lentil soup on the house, since we mentioned it was our first visit. If i could have 2 small criticisms, they did not provide free table water, and the sound for the door opening was a bit loud and annoying. But the bottled water was only $1 and was fine. When it comes to my reviews these are very rare but the food deserves it Ordered through ubereats (it took almost 75 mins, the restaurant was 10 mins drive from the hotel ). Here's what I got - 1) cheese pies - excellent and yummy - had a good amount of cheese filling and the dough was soft and chewy. 5/5 2) Arrayes - pretty tasty and fresh and I love the pickles and tomatoes . A little bit of tahini on the side would have lift it up even further . 4/5 3) fatteh with meat - oh my god . I didn't had the opportunity to eat fatteh in the last 10 years . This one was incredible . Huge portion (enough for two) with a lot of perfectly cooked meat , loads of pine nuts and the regular garbanzo beans , lemon and tahini. OMG. I found the best freshest mediterranean food in Arlington, they give you huge portions. I didn't even ask for extra hummus or extra rice, but they gave it to me anyway which I ate it because it was so good. The kebabs and the skewers will blow your mind with flavor....the restaurant itself is really cool Looking on the inside. The staff and our waitress were so pleasant and kind. The food here is still delicious, but I have to take a point off because they now literally refuse to give you free (aka tap) water. You have to buy bottled water if you want water and you have to pay for each bottle you drink - so for someone like me who drinks a lot of water at a restaurant, that is a ridiculous add-on cost for something I literally don't even want - it so wasteful to force everyone to use all these disposable water bottles! I just get tea now but I wish I could drink water with my meal. Also my server literally brought me one cup of tea the whole nearly hour I was there. I asked her for a refill when she brought out my food and she said sure and then never returned or even glanced in the direction of my table (I had tried several times to subtly get her attention by a stare or wave). I ended up having to actually stand up and walk over to her to get another glass of tea and bring my check. So there goes another star. What a shame. The food is great here.
