Me and my girlfriend came in on a Saturday afternoon and it was completely empty inside. The man who greeted us and took our order was extremely polite and nice, he even offered us some hot tea while we waited for our food. We ordered the Chicken Shwarma, Hummus, and Gyro Plate. With the amazing service we experienced, we knew the food was already going to be delicious. The gyro meat was tender and well balanced with the meat to rice to sauce ratio (even included extra sauce on the side without us having to ask!). The salad that came with the gyro plate was very good as well, we could tell they make their dressing in house and the ingredients felt very fresh. The chicken shwarma was amazing, the chicken was well seasoned and tender and the sauce inside of it was the cherry on top. The hummus was fresh and delicious, probably one of the best we've had. This place recently opened and is owned by a lovely family. Their food is home-made style, Arabic, Jordanian, and Palestinian dishes, with beautiful presentation and fresh ingredients. It's a casual cafe-style place, with really great food. They also have some rare and traditional dishes that are hard to find! We tried the kibbeh plate, the hummus, tabouli and the Jordanian specialty; mansaf...and wow! It was so delicious and authentic, I haven't been able to find it in years! Mansaf is a tender lamb dish which is slow-cooked in yogurt and spices for hours, served on a dish of fluffy yellow rice pilaf, topped with roasted slivered almonds, along with a sauce of rich, tangy broth cooked with yogurt which is poured on top. OMG...it's one of the best dishes in the world! The owners were so hospitable and gave us great service and recommendations...it was truly a pleasure to meet them. Try it out, be adventurous and you'll be taken on a journey to another part of the world, through their delicious cuisine and amazing culture...I hope Al Nabulsi is here to stay! read more
