First and foremost, I'd like to start with the fact that the food was great. I don't have any real complaints about it at all, and I enjoyed all of it. The aesthetic is simple, but very clean and minimally decorated. Intended for casual settings and family friendly. I went with my friend, and we were greeted nicely upon walking in and allowed to sit where we pleased. The owner was also very polite and was sure to make certain that we had everything we needed. Unfortunately, this is where it gets bad. Upon exiting the owner gave me a top for my very refreshing, frozen mint lemonade. As soon as I walked out the door, I slipped on about 2 cups of rice that had been sprinkled right in the center of the walkway to the establishment. Why you ask? Well the waitress thought it was kind to feed the birds directly outside of the restaurant and where patrons walk into the restaurant. I screamed in pain to the point where neighboring businesses came out to check on me as well as the waitress who seated us. My frozen lemonade splattered all over the floor. I took some time to walk around and walk off the pain and burning sensation from my freshly skinned kneecap. I returned back to the establishment, and it was my hope that due to the unfortunate matter of my circumstance, I would be compensated with a new drink. I went to the bathroom to clean my kneecap while my friend requested a new drink for me, as I was walking out the door, I was asked by the waitress was I going to pay for the drink?! I couldn't be more stunned as my knee was throbbing, and I was looking dead in the face of the cause of my problems, the waitress that decided throwing rice out for the birds was better than the safety of the customers was asking me to pay for a THIRD, six dollar frozen mint lemonade. I shook my head and made my way to the counter to pay for essentially her mess up. I promised the owner I'd leave a review and I did just that, but I am highly upset that when she knew she made a mistake she couldn't think at the very least to compensate me for an absolutely preventable situation. If management would like to reach out to make things right, I would happily come back and leave an updated review.

My nephew ordered takeout and we ATE! This food is very very good! I had the beef tikka plate and the chicken as well and it did not disappoint! I hope to make it to the restaurant so I can grade the service and vibes of the place.

Great find! Food was delicious. Tried a little bit of everything. Didn't get the chance to take pics of all. Salad was to die for! Hummus was very tasty. You must try today. Even if you aren't hungry, stop in for mint lemonade, you won't regret on a hot day. Plenty of seating, bring the whole family. Service was very friendly & helpful if you don't know what to order.

Absolutely love the combo for 2 people. Generous portions with 6 skewers. Unfortunately they ran out of beef skewers so we got 4 ground beef and 2 chicken. I love the ground beef. For our sides, we got lentil soup and rice. Even with three people, we had leftovers. Great place for the budget and the food amount.

A friend recommended this place to us. We had tried some of the neighboring Middle Eastern restaurants in the area so we thought we would give it a try. It is officially Egyptian food. It is a hole in the wall located next to a grocery store. It was well decorated and very clean. I had the Chicken Shawarma and my friend had the Lamb Kebab. He it was the tastiest lamb he had had in a while. The Lentil Soup was also delicious. The service was prompt and the owner came out to greet us. He gave as a side of rice to try. It was tasty as well. Give this place a try if you are in the neighborhood.

I have been on a constant hunt for good medi food since moving here. A lot of the local fan favs have been misses. This place came highly recommended so i figured id give it a shot via doordash. I ordered the Chicken Shish Tawook lunch plate with rice and a salad. I really enjoyed it. I liked that the hummus was included and I didnt have to choose it as one of the sides. Very good and CREAMY! Wish the serving of it was bigger, but I honestly loved that it wasnt too much because this lunch plate was just enough. I asked for the pita on the side and they still gave me the pita on the plate plus a pita on the side. The pita is thin and chewy. I really enjoyed the salad, the dressing is so delicious and they gave me a decent portion. The only reason for the 4 stars and not 5, the chicken was so very flavorful, but a little dry. I dipped it in hummus, garlic sauce, and even tossed it in my salad so I didnt really care. Will def try this place again, except ill dine in because I want to try the frozen lemonade ppl keep raving about.

I've eaten a TON of Mediterranean food lately while celebrating Ramadan. That being said, this is by far the best I've had. The frozen mint lemonades were so refreshing and cute. Hummus 10/10, chicken was well seasoned and very tender. And the people!!! Egyptians are seriously so friendly and this was an overall great experience.

This is genuinely one of the best Mediterranean spots I've ever been! If you're going for the first time definitely get the family feast! The flavors were amazing, the staff were super welcoming and helpful! Everything was Top Tier!

This place is absolutely amazing. The customer service is incredible and the staff will answer questions for you about various foods if you had questions like we did, there were answers so educationally and compassionately. The salad they are know for is phenomenal. The fish and chicken were seasoned to perfection.

Update our review. Our first visit was dining in-house. We selected take-out this dining experience since we needed to return home to comfort our puppy that was not feeling well. This restaurant prepares the food after you order, they don't scoop food out of dishes that have been sitting in the kitchen all day. Fresh and delicious is the result. Since this takes a little longer, we fulfilled our plan to shop in the adjacent and connected Hala Import Food Market. Our culinary experience was challenged as we shopped a new environment, not being familiar with the products or language. But it was fun. Returning to the restaurant side, we could see the physical improvements the owner has been making to the dining area. At home we open our well packaged food item. The flavors and presentation were equally pleasing as dining at the restaurant. We selected the Family Feast Combo for Two. Hope to return soon.

A while back I went and the vegetable combo had gone up to $20! Now it's back down to $16 so I'm back. The food is as good as ever. Homemade everything. Two versions of hummus, regular and spicy, and both are delicious! Tatziki, tabouli and garbanzo salad as well as stuffed grape leaves, chicken and beet salad. And hot sides are also available on the veggie plate! Rice pilaf, roasted cauliflower, eggplant and several more. The cauliflower was amazing! If you get a meat they have many but the tenderloin kabab ("beef kabab"") was a huge hit at my table. Cooked to perfection on the charcoal grill. Just fabulous. They've got shwarma, gyro sandwiches and even more delicious meats and the freshest vegetables. The pita bread is fresh from the oven- a steaming hot pillow of goodness. They have several types of canned and bottled drinks including yogurt drink and San Pelligrino, a couple of iced teas, lemonade and various fountain drink choices. No alcohol here. If you have never been, go and if you've been, go back because it's definitely worth the visit. It is a great place to enjoy tasty homemade Lebanese, Mediterranean and Greek food. Oh! One final note: the staff is friendly and welcoming. I felt so comfortable and relaxed because they really make you feel at home .

The curry chicken was dry, despite being in a sauce and flavorless. And to add insult to injury both meats came with a hefty upcharge.

Well I hope it is isolated and not because they are growing too fast. I'd give 3.5 stars for this visit if I could. There was more staff than I've ever seen before however things seemed a little chaotic. One waitress rushed by the counter and knocked straws all over the floor - she saw she did it and didn't stop or come back to pick them up - one of the guys picked them up when he went by. There was a table that was uncleared nearly our entire meal - and the plates still had some food on them which I thought was unusual (I'm used to seeing clean plates or to-go bags). Our waitress was chaotic - hyper, rushed, and distracted. Not giving normal Fattoush vibes. The hummus was delicious as usual. Beautiful, & velvety. Their hummus has become my standard for what it should be. The grape leaves were extremely tart - tasted like a mouth full of vinegar. I haven't ordered them in a while and am hoping this is not a recipe change. Finished one & couldn't eat any more. The garlic dip was tamed way down. Made me sad because I like the stronger garlic. Again, hoping this is a one-off. An owner at another local establishment had told me that many tame it down because of the American palate. I can understand needing to find that balance of staying authentic vs please customers but I'm going to need the secret password to get the real stuff! Lol. (But seriously - if you know it, please let me know!) After trying their burger awhile back, my Mom hasn't been able to order anything but that as her entree. It is great. Steak fries are same as straight up American steak fries and good. She said next time she'll get the sauce on the side because it was heavy handed this time and overpowered the delicious meat. Bun wasn't holding up as it usually does. The chicken shish tawook was good as always however I was missing the bite from garlic dip. I love their rice! They have great yellow rice too. My husband and I shared and had some to bring home for one lunch. I got a piece of Iraqi bread because I've never ordered it before- it was really good! Served warm and bigger than large dinner plate. On our way out, while we were checking out the beautiful patio and new area to come, we had a 5 STAR moment when we saw Chef Bashar. I asked him if he'd consider doing a borek appetizer sometime as we had a delicious cigar (bc it was rolled) borek at a place in Dallas. He was very open to the idea and said they will be having 2 different menus when the new concept opens and adding more vegetable options. He also noticed my husband looking at the Palastine Cola in the drink case and told him to take one home and try. I thought this was extremely nice and generous. I look forward to continuing to support this great local business and believe this night was just an off night. You can also follow them on instagram to watch them make dishes, see specials & restaurant updates.

Located in Arlington, the restaurant is divided in 2 sections and the place has quite a casual and local vibe We, a party of 5 were immediately seated and the server aptly took our order. As we were famished, we ordered..a lot: -Mazza Plate -Falafel -Fries -Gyro Special Plate -2 Chicken Shawarma(Bank Special) plate (comes with Rice, Hummus, Tzatziki sauce and Pita) -Falafel Plate - Gyro Sandwich Dessert: -Baklava -Burma Since we love spicy, we asked for our food to be spiced up. 5-10 mins later, the food began to arrive. First impression was the portion size was huge. At the onset we knew we ordered too much. The Mazza plate was amazing with assortment of Middle-Eastern appetizers i.e. hummus, babaganoush, tabouli salad, dolmas, with kalamata olives and pita. We absolutely loved the dimas and the hummus and pita bread was fresh. The Shawarma plates were pretty decent and the chicken and gyro meats were well cooked and seasoned, however the spicy sauce they use was a bit more on the tangy side than on spicy side. Which was a let down. Falafels we crunchy and were pretty decent. The fries however were huge let down. They were too oily and the taste of overused oil was pretty evident. The best part for us were the desserts. The Baklava was great but the Burma blew us away. The roasted Cashes and angel hair with honey was truly delicious. To Foodies: This is quite a famous place for middle easter food, main reason being it was covered by The food network. Do try their Shawarma Plate , especially Gyro plate, it is pretty awesome. Also the quantity is good. However, I would recommend to stay away from fries or be careful of deep fried items. Do try the desserts, you'll fall in love. Overall, it is a good place but I have had much better. May be the standards have gone down a bit over the years. To Management: You have a wonderful staff, good location and the food is pretty decent..However I'd recommened to keep a check on your oil used for deep fried stuff. The fries were a huge let down. One bite and i frlt that bad taste of oil at the back of my throat. Also please revamp your spicy sauce a bit. Too much vinegar. Overall Rating: 6.5/10 Signing off Rahul V.S. aka CanIndian Foodie
