I visited here yesterday when i was in Richardson. I saw great reviews online and was happy to support a Palestinian business. It's a small grocery store and bakery. They have several types of breads. I bought a few to try. The musakhan chicken pocket was ao delicious. I also got a cheese bun. I grabbed 3 frozen pizzas- cheese, meat and zaatar. I haven't eaten them yet. I also grabbed some thin flat bread, hummus, lebneh and baklava. Everything I've tried was amazing and i can't wait to taste the other items. The bakery and outside smelled delicious like zaatar and fresh bread.

I am totally impressed with this bakery. I have visited 3 times in the last two weeks to enjoy their pillowy soft and freshly baked bread and tasty pastries! I wish they were closer to my home, but maybe it is a good thing because otherwise I would be there every single day! Don't let the outside fool you, as I first thought the bakery was a small grocery store. Just be sure to go to the left when you enter to purchases baked goods such as meat pies, Za'tar pies, potato stuffed pies, falafel sandwiches and more. If you want fresh baked bread or other groceries make a right and go to the grocery side of the establishment. However, you must pay for everything on the bakery side. We have tried the meat pies. Za'tar pies, potato hand pies, fajitas meat pies, spinach pies, the samon breads, pita breads, and a bread that is in the shape of a circle but I don't quite remember the name of it. The meat pies, Za'tar pies and the samon breads are our favorites. Everything we ordered was fresh and delicious. There is a small dining area on the grocery side of the establishment, however it is self serve. There is hot water and complimentary tea bags and sage to make tea if you wish to enjoy tea with your meal. The folks who work there were mostly friendly and thanked us for coming when we were leaving. I highly recommend this bakery for fresh bread and pastries. Definitely will return to try out more of the freshly baked goods!

Wonderful Palestinian bakery tucked away in a complex. They offer tons of different types of breads that are freshly made by the ladies in the back. We heard they made fresh zaatar pies in the morning so we made sure to grab some and they were heavenly. Still warm, fluffy, and very airy. The kunafa was still warm too and had a great texture. Highly recommend picking some up if you come. And of course had to grab some pita breads to take home. They were very soft and pillowy. Definitely will be back to try the other meat and cheese pies.

Guys, The tetas are in the back whipping up the good stuff. Its so fresh and authentic that you feel transported overseas when you have anything. They recently remodeled as well, so the space is huge and now has chairs to sit if you want to eat there! I love the baby pitas so much, pick some up for home!! Just extremely friendly service and great people. Large variety of baked manaeesh including lahme, ackawi, msakhan, zaatar pies...I've tried almost all of them including beef and potato and spinach. Every. Single. Thing. Is amazing ALSO, try the falafel sandwich. We started going early to get this...perfect blend of tomato and cucumber salad jn tahini sauce, crispy falafel, warm bread...and wowwww so good.

I wish I could give this place 10 stars! They deserve all of them. They have all sorts of Palestinian baked good: sfeeha, manakeesh, knafa, pita bread & more and more. I tried the manakeesh (flat bread) with akawi cheese, with za'atar, and with ground beef. They were all simply perfect. The dough is baked fresh and is soft and heavenly & each of the toppings were so tasty. The akawi cheese is an absolute must. Even more to love are the portions amd the prices. Ramallah bakery wins!

As soon as you walk in you get embraced but this delicious smell. Everything in this bakery is so interesting, I could have spent all day in here looking around. But obviously my stomach was growling so I bought a spinach stuffed bread and let me tell you...wow. You open it and you know it's freshly baked because this amazing steam comes out of it. The bread was so soft and the inside was flavorful. I will definitely be coming back. The person working was so kind, I was unsure what to get because it was my first time and he helped me choose. I am going to enjoy the olive oil and pita bread I brought home with me. Go support this business, they're doing great things.

We're visiting friends during Spring Break and on our way to have Arabic ice cream. Saw this bakery and decided to check it out. I called first and the gentleman didn't quite speak English. Someone took over and said they have baklava. It's just a small bakery with various types of Middle Eastern breads. We're disappointing that they don't make baklavas in house as the pre-packaged box said DFW Gourmet Bakery. The expiration on the box is July 2021 and it'l expire 4 months from now. We also got a chicken pie as they have others like spinach, potatoes. It's like a mini-grocery store with packaged tea, chocolates and lots of breads.

Found a piece of glass in the lahme. I spit it out, I am horrified, my tooth aches and I am absolutely disgusted. This is disturbing and I am never spending a penny on this "bakery". Very unprofessional, I used to support and spend over $50 every time I'd buy but then I realized finding a PIECE OF GLASS in the lahme is NOT acceptable or NORMAL. This is horrifying.

Tucked away and not easy to find, but worth the search! Their fresh Arabic bread is pillowy and soft, not too thin, not too thick and baked fresh daily. The babaganoush and made in store pickled turnips are delicious. Will be back for sure, can't wait to try more things.

Best bread in Dallas. Always fresh and yummy. Either white or wheat bread and also the Egyptian style is my favorite.

I recently visited Big Dash and I'm still thinking about the desserts!…read more The hazelnut baklava tasted just like a Ferrero Rocher -- rich, nutty, chocolatey, and perfectly sweet. Absolutely delicious. The butter cookie roll was soft, buttery, and indulgent without being overwhelming. But the real star was the kinafa. The cheese pull was INSANE , perfectly crispy on the outside, warm and gooey on the inside, and balanced with just the right amount of sweetness. Easily the best thing I tried. Don't walk, run to try their desserts. You won't regret it!

This is a bittersweet review for us to write. As you can see, we posted our first glorious review…read morein 2017 when Bigdash first opened and could not have loved this place more. It was SO special. We haven't been back in many years and not only did that magical original location close, but what we found instead was this monstrosity of a location that felt hyper corporatized and commercial--in other words, soulless. Listen, we don't begrudge them their success. And we were so happy for them when we saw them being mentioned in the NYT a few years ago. But now Bigdash has gone full American--they've expanded to multiple locations, the quality has gone down, and that je-ne-sais-quoi magic is completely gone. We came here yesterday after a stellar meal at Khashoka, excited since it's been so long since our last visit. We walked in (it was freezing) and the whole place looked like a Disney-ified version of the original Big Dash. There was one woman working, and she was very friendly, but what a different experience than mingling with the original owners in the unpretentious cozy ambience. The worst part is that the ice cream is nowhere near as good! The original Arabic ice cream's level of rose water was off and the ice cream's stretchiness felt less organically created. The pistachio was OK. Our daughter got this crazy container of small individual frozen fruit shapes that were covered in chocolate. Those felt cute and special and we liked them all except for the grape. Again, we're happy for Bigdash's success. They deserve it. But we will not be back again because what we loved so much about this place is no longer. Tis the American way, alas! Three stars and sincere best wishes to them.
