It was the first time for me to go to an actual hookah lounge and I thought it was pretty neat. They've got tables and they have an area near the wall where there's cushions and lower tables so you can have a more authentic feel to it when you're smoking the hookah. They've got a nice selection of flavors for the hookah. We had the house blend and peach. The peach was a bit... bland, but the house blend was really fruity, flavorful, and had a tiny bit of a licorice aftertaste to it that wasn't too overpowering. Also they have a four persons per hookah rule. They do have a food menu, but all I tried was the hummus, which was so tasty that you might need to order more bread to finish it off. Some people in our group got some salad that looked really fresh and healthy. Also some had the chicken tandori that looked really spicy but it was really mild and kind of thick trying to cut into. Additionally all the drinks came in cans or bottles. Our server who you can tell looks kind of old, but still has game was really amiable and helpful with ordering things. Service was awesome. After talking to her a bit, I found out she went to the Miss Universe Contest in Korea in 1980! We got there around 730 ish and was kinda slow but by the time we left around 10 it was really picking up! I believe they're open until about 5am on weekdays and 6am on weekends. Here's another bit of info they also have belly dancers on Friday and Saturday nights starting around 12!

I love this place. I come here at least one a week! They expanded a while ago, so now they have a sweet lounge! Its very roomy and they have a great music. If you get there when they start gettting busy, the owner DJs! They have a variety of hookah flavors. My favorite Double Banana &Guava. My flavor of choice however is mint. I am a minty person. I have had the food there and it is amazingly yummy too. Hummus is a choice if you have never had food there. Chicken Tandori is so good that I find it hard to share! Yvonne makes the best lemon merainge pie, flan, and i could go on..... I have never had one single compliant to say about the service. Yvonne is very friendly and sweet. She is very attentive and helpful if its your first time there. It really picks up Fridays and Saturdays after 10 or so. Its a really great time so network there any time before that. I have met many an interesting people there. They do have belly dancers and she comes out when its packed. &speaking of do not park at the big major company building ( i believe its a telephone service co) because they tow! They pool tables, Xbox, games, boxing, from what i remember off the top of my head. Oh its bring your own wine there. I Hope I helped!

For as long as I can remember, my family and I have been visiting this Mediterranean institution on…read morePolk Street. Afrah is THE place to be for Mediterranean food - before Greenville Ave became Arab central, before there was anyone, there was Afrah. A beautiful, airy restaurant with gorgeous seating, a bustling dessert case, ice cream center and so many treats to offer under one roof. Afrah is to the Muslim community in Richardson as a glove is to a hand. It truly is a one stop shop for all your nostalgic cravings, and it would be a grave injustice on my part if I didn't stop by here and sing praise to one of the most loved Mediterranean restaurants in the DFW area. We visited here recently for an iftar buffet experience and were very very happy with the food we got. The buffet line was running smoothly, from staff working diligently to hand everyone a tray with napkins, plates and cutlery already set for you. Waiters were going around the massive dining hall clearing plates, making sure everyone had what they needed, seating patrons and asking if everything tasted good. This establishment runs like a literal well oiled machine and I am so impressed. The food was as always out of this world. Carefully prepared menu that satisfies everyone's taste buds. A good selection of classic cold appetizers like the baba ghanoush, hummus, and variety of salads. Always including something unique for a typical Middle Eastern flare. Hot lentil soup available with bowls carefully placed in the vicinity. So many different types of kebabs and freshly made hot pita bread being replaced like clockwork. The buffet had many of my favorite classics like Shawarma meat, beef kebab, chicken kebab. Lamb, chicken stew, baked chicken, everything was present in abundance. They even had salmon which I deeply appreciated as a seafood lover. My only complaint is the food wasn't hot enough which can be annoying with a buffet that is serving so many people during a busy time like Ramadan. Everything tasted absolutely phenomenal and when I returned for dessert, I was greeted with six different types of sweets from all over the world. That's the thing about this place. There's always something for everybody. The dining hall was bustling with not just Muslim patrons, but also a lot of American white patrons who equally enjoy the food here as much as we do. Inclusions of dishes like shrimp pasta, fried fish, chocolate mousse, and other fan favorites is a humble nod to non-Arab customers who love to frequent this place as much as we do. If you are looking for a quality Mediterranean experience look no further than this long-standing Mediterranean Haven. Thank you for nourishing the community.

There wasn't really any service to speak of since its buffet style. The ambiance was a pretty typical cafetera style restaurant. Overall, it was decent food, but I would not seek out to return here to eat. It was nice for a work event and very convenient. We were accommodated well.

Visiting from California, my friend and I came here after landing late in Dallas. We arrived around…read more2 a.m., and that's when the place really started to get lively. This spot is BYOB, which would have been great had we known in advance, but it's a nice perk for an after-hours spot. We paid $20 to get in, which didn't seem too bad. However, if you plan to fully enjoy the experience, you need to get a section. Here's where things went south with ABI. A young man invited us to join his section that he had already paid for, which was cool. But then, the waitress told him he couldn't have any more guests, right in front of us, and said, "If you want to sit here, you have to pay me $20 each." Wait, what? The guy asked why we were being charged when he had already paid for the section. It was literally him and his homeboy. She repeated it, and security came over to back her up. It felt like we were being hustled. To make matters worse, this was after I had already ordered hookah. If we didn't pay, we wouldn't have had a place to smoke it. So, we ended up paying an extra $40 on top of the $50 for the hookah, which just didn't sit right with me. They also had people walking around taking pictures, then harassing you to buy them. Honestly, the whole night felt like the staff was just trying to hustle us. Since we were out of town, we paid the price, but be cautious about the workers trying to make extra money through some questionable tactics. DJ was good. A mix between Hip Hop, Rap, R&B and afro beats. Would I recommend this place? Not because of the experience we had. It just felt unnecessary and shady to me.

Security is strongly enforced here so please don't play around. There is a $20 cover fee just to get in the door. Hookah for two will be $20 minimum. There a dozen of flavors to choose from but there is multiple other fees so please be mindful. This is a BYOB venue so bring Ming your own bottle is highly encouraged . There has been plenty of renovations to the inside and there is many colorful lights. Atmosphere is mainly hip hop, R&b, and afrobeats. There is food available which is below decent bar food. Spacious venue and they also have a pool table and dance floor. Is nice vibe in Richardson .
