Since being at the La Pasha in Houston, I couldn't help but to compare it to that one. Not going to lie this La Pasha had its perks too! The outdoor seating is huge, the service is very attentive and the food was just as good especially the shawarma fries! The hookah's were always on point too! I've heard a lot about the food at this place so I was looking forward to trying it out. It's a good place to hang out and for hookah, if you're into that. I will be honest, it was weird that they have hookah's all over the place and the kids play area right next to all the smoke and fumes. I wouldn't want my kid around that but that's a personal preference. Food was a hit and miss. I ordered the dip trio, because it's a must at these types of restaurants for me. The trio was ok but bland, which was surprising. The mixed grill was delicious. Every single meat item was flavorful and juicy, which is not always the case with chicken items. You can pick from two sides and the portion is enough for two people to share. Their shawarma is also delicious. Over all portion sizes are good for the prices. Now, service was absolutely horrible. We had one server at the beginning and then they switched, which is fine. What was frustrating is that no one seemed to know who was going to help us. It may have been a shared service area but they didn't communicate with themselves if that was the case. The food here is great and service but the parking and valet situation was terrible. When I arrived at 6pm, early, I did not valet for 8$ and went to 'self parking'. I parked in a spot that did not say valet on it as the rows behind me did. When I walked into the restaurant, the teen valet worker ran up to me and told me to move my car. I told him I parked in a a non valet spot. He yelled at me to move it, I started crying and I told him it was a legitimate parking spot and I would ask the manager as I'm a single mom and don't have 8$ to pay, not to mention this is Addison with huge parking lots, and not downtown Dallas where there are never enough parking spots. I spoke to the nice manager who said the parking spot was fine and I didn't have to move it. I left at 9pm and drove home and when I got out of my car saw that the front had been keyed!!!! I called La Pasha and there was nothing they could do as no witness. I am so upset and now have to pay money to repair what he did to my car. Inexcusable!! A few years ago La Pasha hookah lounge was an absolute highlight for me and my friend when we visited Houston. So you can imagine the excitement that ran through my veins when I learned that they opened a location in Dallas. I obviously came here with high expectations, bearing in mind the phenomenal experiences I had in Houston. My friend ordered the lamb shank and I ordered the appetizer platter. According to him, the lamb shank was very underseasoned and underwhelming. My appetizer platter was good, but nothing to write home about. The pita bread served on the side was stale and hard to chew and also cold. Hookah was smooth as usual, but it could've been better as far as flavor is concerned, somebody definitely skimped on tobacco in the bowl. The tricolor smoothie is one of my favorite things here and that did not disappoint. Service was attentive I would say a little too attentive, the server was too eager to remove our plates and kept coming over again and again, which was honestly really weird. The decor is pretty nice inside, but not as beautiful as their Houston location. The outdoor terrace definitely needs to be spruced up a little bit, with string lights, or whatever makes it feel a little warmer and more intimate. One thing they did right was the dessert. We ordered a kunafa and it was actually made very well, thicker and cheesier than the one I remember being served in Houston. Somebody did a phenomenal job on that. Am I in Dubai? This place was well thought out when it was conceptualized because this place is family friendly, group friendly, couples friendly, girls night out friendly , guys night out friendly! Food was on point, their ice cream shakes were legit , mocktails very good and fresh juices were actual fresh juices (not poured out from a bottle). Service was immaculate, the staff was accommodating and courteous and all around this place would be my 3rd space if I lived in Frisco. They have it all here and a place to frequent. The manager had to comp two meals because the chicken kofta was that bad. We thought it was cooked with salmon. Best things I ate? The r side rice. Shawarma fries and beef kofta were also good, hummus and tabbouleh were "meh," but my grilled mixed plate? The chicken and shish kabob were so dry I almost needed a dental plan. Can I just say wow! This place is beautiful inside and out! It's right next to Al Amir making it look like it just came from the future or something lol. But really, it's beautiful and massive at the same time. I'd say comparable size to the Houston one but way fancier. There is no self parking so expect to pay valet (they take card) for $8. Even with the long lines, my car came in a few minutes so not bad. Inside is nice loungy ish with their massive chandeliers and low lit lighting. We opted to sit outside on covered patio since that's where the music is playing and most people are hanging out. We got seating quickly since we came on Saturday at 7pm, but if you come after 7:30ish, expect to wait in line. They do not take reservations unfortunately, so expect to wait accordingly. They put you on a waitlist which is always fun lol. The server came to our table at a decent time and was super friendly. All our food came out quickly including drinks and desserts. You do have to pay $3 for water bottles which is kind of annoying but apparently it's Fiji water. The mocktails are yum. I loved my shawarma fries (same as Houston) and I got the chicken tawook. When I had checked on yelp two weeks ago, La Pasha was unclaimed and the hours were not available in the evenings. And I noticed just before our reservations this week they changed it like how it is said on google maps. I really enjoyed the lighting and how aesthetic it was. Our server, Sang was AWESOME !! He told what was good and gave us the best recommendations. La pasha is a high end hookah/ Mediterranean restaurant. They are still in their soft opening phase. From the menu: We had the shawarma fries with half beef and half chicken. We thought the flavors and the sauce were good but the fries itself were not cooked through entirely. The potatoes were still in the raw form. We also had the mixed platter with two side options, in which we chose the fattoush and rice. We thought all the meat were tender but very bland with not enough seasonings. Even the rice and fattoush were not very appeasing. Lastly, we had the ube cheesecake. Probably the only best thing on the menu but I've had better ube desserts. Unfortunately we didn't have the best food but I hope they can improve where it concerns. The Shwarma Fries and Pomegranate Juice is a MUST!! And of course the Hookah- they have all the flavors and you can pick n choose what you like; which was extremely smooth! A friend and I tried a new spot for lunch and thoroughly enjoyed our visit to La Pasha. We dined outside on their patio which is nicely shaded with a relaxing ambiance. They even offered a play area for kids which really makes it a kid friendly dining option. The food was really good. I ordered the gyro and after seeing the other plates passing by, I will definitely return to try other dishes. The service was amazing! Every time we visit it is a 20/10 experience. Absolutely adore the staff and the food is incredible. When people ask where they should go, we tell them go here. The atmosphere is unmatched. Lighting, cleanliness, customer service. It's all immaculate and to top it off, they stay open super late which makes it ideal for a late night pit stop before going home. There place is beautiful with really nice chairs, tables and decor. Definitely lounge vibes. My friends and I came for lunch and the food was alright but the service was terrible! We had to ask for water and refilled several times and it wasn't even busy. The food took ages to come out. We all ordered chicken shishtawook so it really shouldn't have taken as long as it did. Again food wasn't bad but with how long it took I wasn't even hungry by the time it got to us. After hearing rave reviews about the Houston location, was excited to try it in Dallas! Although they have a limited soft opening menu, their service and food both were great! I would highly recommend the shwarma fries, lamb chops and the date pudding was *chefs kiss*! They are still working out the kinks with lighting (dim lights would be so much better for a better vibe / ambiance). The few things we did not like were the sides (rice was dry and bland as were the roasted potatoes). Also, they don't serve tap water (only bottled). They also were not refilling dishes- didn't have the chance to try the kofteh or the fitayeh). I went here for the 1st time, on Eid day, & the overall experience was not good & very poor. I believe this was the 1st time they organized a buffet & it was chaotic, unorganized, & extremely mismanaged. I called at least 10 days ago to do a reservation for 9. I clearly asked if there is a time slot for us to come within & were told no. Instead, I was told to just walk in anytime between the buffet hours. I was asked if I prefer to seat inside or outside & I chose inside. I spoke with Talal & he got all of my information. Come Eid day, we arrived around 11:30 AM & it was already full of people who were sitting everywhere. I checked in & gave my phone # & name. Guy at the counter looked at his messy notepad, with information written all over, & told me with straight face that he doesn't have my reservation! I gave him the name of the person (Talal) I talked to & it turned out that he was the guy I reserved with. Obviously how is he going to find my name if his notepad has millions of information written everywhere? On top, the audacity of lying that there is no reservation was just the icing on the cake. We were also told that bunch of people didn't show up for their reservation but showed up late when their seating was given away & that is why the whole chaos. However, I blame the restaurant management for this as if no time was given to them then why would they expect people to show on time? After some back & forth we were told to sit outside. I politely told Talal that first, my reservation was messed up & now we are told to sit outside how is this fair when I clearly asked for inside during the reservation? We were then giving the option to sit inside but to vacate by 1:40 PM. By this time it was already 12 PM & we were all tired & hungry. I reluctantly agreed to sit inside with the time restriction. The way to get to the food was horribly blocked & inconvenient as it was through the front counter which was fully blocked by the people waiting to be seated with more people pouring in & nowhere to go! Lamb Mansaf was good but very salty. Bread were cold & little hard to chew on. Food & plates were getting empty & running out fast but the refill was slow & most of the times has to be called out by the guest. Same with the juices & tea where it was running out fast yet refill was slow & only when brought into attention. They had waffles & crepes but the line was long! As this was the most popular item among adults & children, everybody was in the line. Unfortunately, management didn't think that this obvious item will be a hit as they only had 1 machine of waffle maker & 1 pan for making crepes! I don't know why but this was a really poor planning by the management. At 1 PM, even though we still had 40 minutes left as agreed upon with Talal earlier, one of the other co-owners showed up & asked us to leave as soon as possible as they had reservation for another group. This was beyond my believe & frustration as, first, they messed up our reservation, then second, we agreed upon a set time but now they are not keeping up their own words & asking us to leave as soon as possible? Dirty dishes were picked up but the service was very slow. At the time of checkout I saw 15% in the name of "Service Charge." I am not sure if this was because we had a group of 9 or everybody were getting charged of this. On their buffet advertisement there was no mention of the Service Charge & only per person price was listed. I didn't want to write any extra tip but then the server told us that the service charge is only going to the kitchen staff! This was again beyond my believe as why 15% Service Charge is not distributed across everyone & why the servers are asking for more tip even though the service was not great! Overall, definitely a poor experience. Very obvious that management had no experience with buffer, no planning for the expected massive crowd, & were just lost. I hope they learned some lessons from this experience & hopefully will be better prepare the next time should they decide to continue their luck with the buffet! read more

Now for what brought the rating down: The first disappointment came even before stepping through the door--La Pasha requires valet parking, and it's not complimentary. We had no option to self-park and were charged $8 just to have our car parked right in front of the restaurant. For a casual night out, that felt excessive, especially considering there were open spots nearby that we weren't allowed to use. Then came the automatic 15% service fee--for a party of just two people. While automatic gratuity is common for large parties, applying it to a table of two without any prior notice felt presumptive. It also leaves little room for diners to tip based on their actual experience. In our case, the service was good--but for many, this would feel like a forced charge. Overall: La Pasha gets it right where it matters most: food and service. But the mandatory valet and auto-gratuity policies create an unnecessary sense of nickel-and-diming that really detracts from the dining experience. I'd consider returning for the food, but I'd go in fully aware of these extra costs--which is something new customers should be prepared for. read more

On yelp, it is clear that this is a hookah bar. That is not clear on their website. From the outside, it looks like a nice restaurant and as it is new to Addison, I was eager to check it out. The entire large parking lot is blocked off for valet that costs $8/car. The entire restaurant is a giant cloud of smoke. The menu looked good and was pricey - the dish I was eyeing was $28. When I asked for water, the server told me that they only serve bottled water, which is $3. She brought out a bottle and placed it on the table like I am in a movie theater. No accompanying glass. We left and I don't plan on going back. If an elegant and overpriced smoky hookah bar is your thing, this is probably your place. read more
