In Texas for the weekend and the family is going to go all in on BBQ this entire trip. So before we embark on that journey I just wanted something different. I stumbled upon this spot as a restaurant close to me from a Yelp search. Saw the reviews and said lets give it a shot. This place did not disappoint. Very family oriented vibe but was super welcoming as I pulled up solo. The greeter was very pleasant and it was open seating so i just grabbed a table and sat down. Went through the menu but I already had an idea of what I wanted to try. The waitress was very nice. Took my order and this begins my journey.... For starters we have Lamb broth soup. Soup came out steaming hot. Delicious!! This soup set the tone for the rest of the experience. Then we follow up with Chicken hanith as the entree. People ...the seasoning and spices within this dish were so flavorful. I literally had to stop myself from finishing the plate because I knew I had ordered dessert. Which brings me to the final stages of this already excellent meal. Dessert is Areeka....phenomenal. I honestly thought it was going to be too sweet for my tastes based off the presentation but the balance in that dish was unreal. It was just sweet enough. Now it is obvious that these dishes could be/ought to be shared.....but I could've eaten that meal in its entirety. It was that good. Will definitely be going back and the next time I will be trying the lamb. Great people, great food, great time!!

We were greeted and seated right away. Service throughout was warm and attentive, our server checked on us a few times to make sure everything was good. They started us with warm, crispy bread and a yogurt-based dip that was quite flavorful. I ordered the lamb shish kebab platter (well done), and we also tried the chicken shish kebab platter. Both came with buttery rice, a fresh salad drizzled with olive oil, and yogurt sauce. The chicken was tender and properly seasoned, but the lamb was the highlight. Lamb can easily turn dry or overly gamey if not handled right, but this was juicy, tender, and packed with flavor even when cooked well done, exactly how a good shish kebab should be. I skipped dessert this time, though they offer a few options, and I noticed what appeared to be a buffet setup, which I'm curious to try next. Overall, a solid, well executed Mediterranean meal. I'll definitely be back to explore more of the menu.

I visited this restaraunt for the first time and genuinely enjoyed everything I ordered. Starting off with appetizers, my friend and I ordered the pan shared halloumi cheese. This is paired with tomatoes and fig jam and is a wonderful accompaniment to the complimentary bread and olives served for the table. I'm a big fan of halloumi in general but this one was particularly cooked well and a must order for next time. For main entree I ordered Hunkar Begendi, which is sautéed marinated lamb tenderloin with red and green bell peppers over creamy eggplant puree. The lamb was in fact tender and perfectly seasoned and the eggplant puree went very well with the slight gaminess of the meat. I enjoyed this dish overall and it didn't feel too heavy, which sometimes is the case when I eat lamb. The pieces of meat were cut small enough while not being super tough, which I appreciated. I would definitely recommend this restaraunt if you enjoy trying Mediterranean fusion spots!

The only observation I would make is the music. It was just contemporary modern pop music. I always question why the owners choose that vs Greek music which would help create or help the atmosphere. A male employee, who appeared to be the shift manager, with shoulder-length black hair came to the register from the restroom visibly sniffling. While checking me out, he wiped his nose with the back of his hand, leaving visible mucus, and continued the transaction without addressing it. What was even more alarming was what followed. I observed him enter the kitchen area and blow his nose over food. He then briefly ran his hands under water, in the kitchen, without using soap and immediately resumed handling food. He proceeded to work with hummus and place cookie dough onto a baking sheet, all without wearing a hair net or properly washing his hands. This level of carelessness with hygiene is unacceptable, and I would strongly caution others about eating at this location until these issues are addressed.
