So my best friend and I used to smoke hookah regularly 10-12 years ago. However, present day it's not something I like as much. I guess once you get out of something it's a thing of the past. However, meeting up with my bestie yesterday I knew we had to smoke some for old time sakes. Dubai Hookah did not disappoint in taste, pricing and service. The price was pretty good for hookah plus they had a ton of flavors. They had three different kinds of brands as well depending on what you preferred. I always liked starbuzz brand so we decided to stick with that one. Our tangerine flavor was pretty good. The gentleman who brought it over made sure after 15-20 minutes it was still good and redid the coal part. This is a pretty casual place but I like the fact that they have sofas instead of tables, it's pretty relaxing. They have a small menu with food options however we only got the hookah and it was good. Wouldn't mind to smoke it again when in the area.~ read more

Very awful place. Where do I start? Went in with a small group of friends and was not greeted until maybe a good five minutes. The person who greeted us (you could hardly call it greeting) looked at me as if he wanted to ask "what do you want?" After explaining that we'd like some Hookah he pointed to a seating area across the venue and walked over to a table and dropped a menu. The atmosphere definitely could use some work, while the furniture were decent, there was way too much lighting. Even bingo halls had a chiller atmosphere. The bathrooms were lacked any tissue paper, so it was impossible to dry your hands with anything but the air dryer. The worse part though was in the service. As soon as he "sat us down", we saw something was odd... our "server" did not ask for drinks, food, Hookah. No recommendations. We ended up pressing this funny little button to get someone to talk to us. We finally got to ordering our hookah after ten minutes when we probably should have saw the signs and left. While the hookah was decently priced, like $12. I had no idea it was diy hookah. No preparation or pre smoking was done. An older looking dude literally walked over with a hookah bong, mouth piece still in the bag, and dropped it next to us (just like the other guy did with the menu), and left. I ended up fixing the coals and making sure that they were fresh.... these folks may as well be paying me. Now I know why these buttons were there, they seemed keen on not doing a single thing for their customers unless called on. Heck, no one even asked if we wanted waters the entire time we were there. This was my first time here. Very casual. Great prices for hookah and refill. The staff is very friendly and makes sure you're ok.

Went in there for a friends birthday. No one greeted us upon entry so we sat our selfs. About 12 minutes we were finally approved and ruled ask for what we want. I then went on to order a couple minutes later they came back with a check. Being very confused we closed it and sat there and waited for our hookah and smoothies. They refused to serve us before we paid and when I asked him why he said your kind (us being black) didn't have money and never pays. Mind you it's out first time there. The young guy with a hat literally ignored us for over 30 minutes and then thew the menu on the table after we asked for it the 3rd time and made some rude and aggressive comments. Only recently started coming here this review is based off 5+ visits. A small place with not a lot of seating. They don't serve food but their hookah and customer service is something to rave about. My experience at the hookah place was terrible. I went there for the first time and would not be going ever and neither would recommend anyone to go there. I went there with two other friends and ordered hookah, naan bread and falafel. The falafel were tasteless and dry, resembling the likes of horse shit. Since food was terrible, I made plans with two more friends to go for dinner after our hookah got over. Our friends, instead of waiting for us at the dinner place, came to Dubai hookah to regroup. We three were smoking the hookah and our friends were waiting for us. Meanwhile, the waiter comes and asks for my two friend's order. Since we were going to grab dinner later, (and the food was horrible there) we didn't order anything, so we were asked to pay $5 per person since they didn't order anything and they would share the hookah. I informed the waiter that they don't smoke and we won't be sharing. The waiter was adamant and asked us to pay $5 cover nonetheless. So we started to go over the menu and thought of getting the smoothies which were $4.50 and this would help in covering the $5 requested cover. The waiter told us that they didn't have smoothies and that it was a "future menu" (lol hahaha !!) which seemed pretty lame. At this point, I and my friends were frustrated enough and told the waiter that we would be leaving (all this happened within 20 minutes of us getting there). Needless to say, we were pretty upset and informed him that we would have to leave since we didn't want our friends to leave, to which the owner said that's fine by him. We got our checks and left our hookah which was barely touched. Meanwhile, the owner seemed like a money hungry guy who didn't really care about returning business. I will recommend everyone to steer clear of this place since the place looks like a dump and the food is crap!! P.s. gave one star cz I couldn't give any less. read more
