I always have a great time at Pharaoh's Hookah Lounge. The service is excellent and the food is authentic and delicious!!!

Place was empty on a Saturday but that's fine with me. Overall all ok. 5 stars for the Dj playing throwback lil wayne #9/27!

A friend and I went one night. He didn't have his ID, so they declined us on smoking. That's cool. Standard business procedure. We left and a couple days came back... On a SATURDAY. pretty packed in this itty bitty space but not so bad that you were uncomfortable. Great music selection. And they made the pitch higher on the music. Everyone was vining. We ordered the safari melon and some other flavor. I believe it's the #15. So good. Great flavor. Our waiter wasn't super attentive. I felt like he knew a lot of ppl there so while he was doing his job he was also conversing with everyone that walked through the door. We got an ice hose. Our bill was right at $20, not bad. The kicker about this is the guy that originally declined us came to pick up the tab. He walks over smiling - almost laughing and he says, "I remember you guys from the other night". At this point he's still smiling and we're like :/ go away. Lol weird but we're going back so I guess we like weirdness. Lol read more

Nice, chill after hours spot. A friend invited me here late one night. It was a $5 cover charge and BYOB (yes!). I'm not sure the prices of the hookah but they had a variety of flavors and different hoses to use that affect how the smoke comes out. The dj stayed until 2am and took requests to ensure the people there were enjoying themselves. He played a decent mix, too. One complaint--they were showing church services on all the Tv screens throughout; it was a little weird. But other than that it was a decent little spot and I'd go back. read more

Came here the other night for the first time with a large group of friends. It was my first time and I was unaware of all the fees, or "rules". First of all, $5 cover charge after 10pm (okay cool, not a problem). BYOB, even better. What I was not aware of- You have to purchase one hookah for every 3 people, otherwise you will be charged and extra $5. To avoid paying the extra fee you can buy a non-alcoholic drink and that will cover your 'charge' for not purchasing a hookah. When I go to pay my tab, there is a $3 BYOB charge, and an automatic 18% gratuity. Two stars because the music was good, and not much to complain about with my virgin piña colada. Now that I know what I'm walking into, I might be back again. But not my go-to. read more

I would give 0 stars if I could. First time coming here. Seats felt disgusting. The staff very rude and homophobic and sexist as well.

Upon walking in, there are a lot of couches everywhere, tile floors, and not too much decor, but it doesn't hurt the eye in my opinion. This is a really good straight up spot to hang out with music and great hookahs. The most important thing? They take care of you while you're there. Mario is the man. He was very attentive and hospitable, and made the experience the best for us. They have some great tobacco blends, and ice hoses, which were awesome. I hadn't seen that before. I really enjoyed my night here. It was for a bachelorette party and I loved that we could BYOB. The hookah was fun and the music was great. Big Comfy couches and great service! Fusions is by far my most favorite hookah lounge. This place sucked in comparison. I originally like the ice in the bowl, not the end of the hose and that's all I can find. Maybe because I live in north side now, not south and it's a thing up here for some odd reason. Flavors and mixes gave me a headache. Guy opened up late even for 4pm. Like did you seriously wake up late or what? Tv's on odd competitions like wood cutting; fishing and no music. Ceiling fans are on so no tricks, but fresh. Overall, blan. read more

I made plans to visit Pharaoh's this past weekend in order to celebrate my friends 21st birthday. We wanted to go somewhere with a relaxed atmosphere so friends could come and go without feeling obligated to stick around. Walked inside and found that the place was very loung-y. Lots of comfortable seating, I mean really comfortable. Our server was very nice, cute, and attentive until the night progressed. I think he might have been the only server that night, because he wasn't only helping my section...but pretty much the entire place. Felt pretty bad for the guy. The place is BYOB and BYOF (bring your own food)! This is NOT made very clear on their website, which was very frustrating after we got there. We knew it was byob, but only at the last minute. They advertise cocktails online, but they're virgin. Since they do not serve food, remember to bring your own. We did not know this until after we left. We would've stayed longer had we known it was BYOF, because we all left due to starving. The only thing that we all really didn't like about the place was the music. Not that the selections were bad (they were great!) but that the volume would be steady and the start blasting like crazy. Not sure if it was a technical issue or the DJ turning it up and down (I saw someone doing that), but it was bad. Like, ruin the experience bad. As for the hookah, me and my friends shared the Oh Boy Explosion, it was good. Our other friends had some pina colada flavor which literally tasted like nothing. Their virgin cocktails are good, too. Amazing place to stop by and enjoy a great time with your friends on the weekdays, and on weekends it's an outstanding place to visit with your friends, co-workers, family members to socialize and enjoy your time. Especially on Fridays, and saturdays their always a DJ with the best music for you to enjoy a great time. The big 2 huge screens are an automatic attention grabber where you can see the dj music videos on the gigantic screens, did I mentioned? One of the best hookah lounges in DFW. While not all that aesthetically pleasing this places offers some amazing shisha from the brands you know and love like Starbuzz and Al Fakher. They also use different fruit for the hookah which I haven't seen in Texas. This makes for a fun smoke with friends or if you are relaxing solo. The staff is friendly and they were attentive to my coals. I will definitely be back and recommend this spot to anyone. It's worth the trek if you're not from H-E-B. Great job staff! read more

I just wish I could give this place less than one star. Worst service I've ever had at any business, bar none. Waiter was rude and apprehensive about seating us, acting like he didn't want to be there at all. Seated in crappy seats when there was more comfortable seating right next to us. I went there for my birthday the other day with some friends, let me say, I was not impressed... First I brought in a drink which they told me I could either go outside and drink it, or for me to throw it away. I handed it to him so that he would throw it away, I'm not gunna move a limb if you tell me I can't drink it. All the flavors taste exactly the same and gave us all headaches... The place is nothing but couches. No food menu. It's BYOB but they have stuff like teas if you want (they don't have alcohol/wine on the 'menu'). I only went once because I was searching for a hookah place nearby. They were hard to find. The address listed that directed me to Google Maps is not where they are located. They were in a shopping center behind a gas station which was hard to find, because even though the map was wrong, I called them and the guy there hardly knew how to direct me there. But that's beside the point. My thing is: I felt they tried to 'jip' me. I went during the 'happy hour' time because it said you can hookah for a discount. Well what they don't say is they only replace the coals up until happy hour is over. So if you get there 30 minutes before happy hour and get the special (price-wise), once it's 1 minute past the cutoff time for happy hour which I think is 7pm, they will not bring you any more coals unless you buy/order a new hookah at the regular price. Watch out for the happy hour prices. We came in at 6:45pm and asked about happy hour praises. They said we can get it and the hookahs came out after 7. Then we got charged full price because we didn't finish after 7... we got the hookahs after 7 and they advertised happy hour prices to us. I wouldn't go here due to the shady prices. read more

I was really impressed by the location and staff especially. Being from San Francisco and not knowing what local rules are, I called and was greeted by the GM and his description of the bar was right on. It is BYOB which is crazy for a Californian to imagine, but was so cool! There is wait staff there to help you every step of the way. I will definitely be back when I am in town again. Usually a great place but beware of coming Friday and Sunday evenings. They charge $5 a head to enter the Venus after 10pm. The music is way too loud and the service is slow. The DJ during this past experience was awful and placed the most ratchet music. (Play to your audience dude) Week days are super chill tho. read more

It was kind of quiet and relaxed when we arrived but by around midnight the place was quite lively. We had gotten the ice hose, a blend of 2 flavors, and 2 waters, which came out to around 20 bucks. A great thing about hookah places is that you can bring a group of friends and split it however many ways! They need to get some more helpful staff. We've been sitting here for 20 minutes waiting for our second hookah and still nothing. There's barely anyone here.
