I've been here 3 or 4 times now. I usually stop in while visiting Fort Worth for work. Usually have a cigar and 2 glasses of bourbon and sit outside. I've sat inside once and had a great conversation with another guy who is an engineer and from out of town. It gets pretty busy during Sunday night football. People wear their jerseys. Waitstaff is super nice and attentive. They are also wizards at lighting cigars. Rose is probably my favorite there. Cigars are reasonably priced with something for everyone. The checkout experience is quick and seamless. They have someone in the humidor with you answering questions. I was shocked at how deep one of the waitstaff was on the brands. I'm not sure what you call a cigar expert. There has to be a slick french name out there for it. Bourbon menu is a nice size. Drink prices are very reasonable. They don't serve any food yet. Dear, sweet Silver Leaf. How I love thee. I truly love working downtown. I'm also fortunate enough to work in the center of downtown. For that, I am grateful. One of the big benefits is the proximity to Sundance Square, and all of the businesses downtown. One of my most frequented and favorite businesses is Silver Leaf. Silver Leaf is a cigar lounge and full bar. The entry door can be a bit non-descript if you aren't looking for the signage on the door in white, but the smell of cigars is unmistakable. Let me walk you through the experience: Walk through the front doors and go straight into the humidor. A waitress will notice you walk in and will follow. She may offer help, or may not. Either way, find what you like. If you aren't sure, go to the left corner when you walk in. At eyeball height will be the My Father brand. They have "The Judge," "La Operata" or "La Opulencia." Can't go wrong with any of them. The waitress will scan your cigar and hand you a receipt. From there, just go find you a seat. The waitress will find you at your table and will say, "straight cut or V cut?" I prefer V cut. They will then light it for you, and then will hand it to you to puff while they continue to light. They will offer you a drink - alcoholic or non alcoholic. I usually just get a Pellegrino, but you can also choose from a great, full bar. Enjoy yourself! The crowd is a great mix - people from the courts, adorned in suits, folks in casual clothes and even the "old regulars." Always a great crowd. Now, it is smoky in there, as one might imagine. So, if the weather is even remotely tolerable, I suggest the patio. You can sit and watch the cars go by, the guests entering and exiting Hyena's or the Cheesecake Factory, and watch the sun go down. It's the days that I grab my cigar, go to the patio and sip my drink that I feel so awash with gratitude. I must also say that the staff has been exceptional to me every time that I have gone. If you're downtown with some time to kill alone, on a date, or even just hanging with the guys, check out Silver Leaf. A truly unique spot downtown. FYI - cigar prices range average around $12. For my cigar and my Pellegrino, my ticket is rarely more than $20, depending on the cigar I choose. Enjoy! read more

After walking around downtown for a little my husband saw this place before deciding he wanted to stop in. Cigars aren't really my thing, but I had a great time anyway. We first picked his cigar from their extensive humidor room and then sat down where the waitress met us to cut/light his cigar and order our drinks. The waitress recommended me the perfect cocktail for my taste so I was pretty happy. There were all types of people (dressed up and down), many different cigars, many options for liquor, sports playing, and even a cards table. I think this spot is cool for anyone to stop by and see. I had no idea places like this existed. It felt like going back in time. While it is a cigar lounge, it's not particularly smokey and it doesn't stink inside. The seating is broken in comfortable leather sofas and chairs. The bar staff make a mean cocktail and give just the right amount of attention. You can't smoke cigarettes in here but you are able to vape nicotine if you're not a cigar smoker. This is the place to broker deals... way better than the golf course. read more

Walked over to a table, unwrapped my cigar and the waitress showed up. Had about an hour and half before the 'reserved' guests arrived. Ok, no problem. Them she asked me for my ticket. Did not know what she meant then I found out, I owe $20 because I did not purchase the cigar from their humidor. There was hardly anyone in the bar. Can't get a drink, had to pay to smoke NO MORE. Cool place to grab a drink and cigar. Wait staff are friendly and very quick. They have an abundant selection of cigars, but don't let being an amateur cost you an arm and a leg. My husband and i went for the first time and let the guy convince us to try a $24 cigar...not worth $24. We're such newbies we could not tell the difference between that and an $8 one that we bought to take home. The guy in the shop is nice snd friendly, but you can tell he is trying to up-sale. A novice smoker does not need to spend that much on a cigar...you wont be able to appreciate whatever makes it more expensive. Big waste of money. I really liked their drinks, especially the Algonquin and Smoke and Sand. They are light on the alcohol content but at least great on the taste. We asked to sit outside if a table became available but they never got us out there. On the way out there were two empty tables...little annoyed about that especially in light of the poor ventilation. Ok so, I only went here because my husband is a cigar enthusiast. He always has one in his mouth, which is neither here nor there....yuck!!! :) The Silver Leaf Cigar Lounge is a great location to relax and have a drink. There are plenty of TV's to watch sporting events or whatever you would like. It wasn't too busy when we went so the wait staff turned some of the TV's to things customers requested! very cool! There is a pretty large humidor to pick out a cigar and a large bar fully stocked with pretty anything you drink. There is an indoor gas fireplace and also outdoor seating. The inside is very clean and there is ample seating, ash trays and matches for customers to use. The staff was nice and personable. I really enjoyed visiting even though, the smell was a little over bearing. Bathrooms were clean. read more

THIS PLACE IS A TOTAL SCAM!! I REPEAT THIS PLACE IS A TOTAL SCAM!! YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!! First let me start off by stating that the service and ambiance is top notch. The waitresses are quick, attentive and polite. So that isn't the issue with this place. What's apparent from the start is that their sticks are grossly over priced. One can expect that in an upscale lounge but even their prices are remarkably higher. I was cheated and charged 25 percent more than what the cigar was listed for on their own website. The box sells for $1050.00 (box of 10) yet for some reason when I turned over the receipt when sitting back down after selecting the cigar to smoke it was listed as $132.25. I didn't think to check basic math of 1050/10 equals 105.00. So where do they get off cheating...well rather stealing $27.25 from people. THAT ISN'T RIGHT!! My next gripe is the worst offense of all..it is shocking!! Once your bill comes and you look down you will see that they added their own 20 percent gratuity to the tap which is UTTERLY ABSURD!! It is another form of theft on their part. I have been to many establishments that have this policy in place but for a cigar lounge to enforce this upon customers makes no sense. Case in point...if you order 3 drinks that total $60 and have 2 cigars (which are a part of your running tab) that total $100 your "tab" equals $160. So what is criminal is that they charge you gruity on the damn cigars you just over paid for and not merely just the drinks. So you in essence are paying another 20 percent markup for NO REASON!!! You would think the gratuity would be strictly tailored towards the drinks and service provided to you BUT NO, THEY ARE THIEVES and charge you merely to light your cigar. Total then is $192.00 before taxes. This place is horrible due to this greedy policy of theirs. And they don't even inform you that they add their own graduity until after you have finished your drinks and sticks. How unethical. Again the staff are impeccable but not 20 percent on top of an already marked up product. I will be taking me and companies business elsewhere. Cigar international lounge prices are better with a larger inventory. The space is amazing. The only downside is the distance. But at least there you won't get cheated nor stolen from. You leave whatever tip you would like and you aren't tipping to merely buy a cigar!! read more

My Uncle loves this place and usually goes up there for an expensive cigar and scotch. So he invited me one night and i decided to go check it out,it was a really cool and classy place! I had a couple of vanilla porter beers and my first official cigar from a professional humidor, their humidor is huge with an excellent selection. I used to be in the cigar business and the clown wearing a suit in the humidor is one of the worst I've ever encountered. Both condescending and has no clue what he's talking about, just throws out buzz words and had the gall to tell me how the country of the tobacco doesn't matter. I've always wanted to try out this lounge, especially since I love a good cigar and scotch. After a great dinner over at Piranha, we decided to take a casual stroll over to the Silver Leaf to try it out. We entered a very chic and smoky lounge absolutely packed with people. Seems like this place is a super popular spot on the weekends. Terry and I went inside the cigar room and picked some Davidoff Grand Cru to savor...while a bit pricier than buying it yourself, they weren't completely unreasonable. The drinks menu were populated by nice liquors, including single malt scotch and other whiskeys. Since I love Japanese whiskey, I went with the Hibiki Toro, with some ice on the side (fun note: they have two ice options, one regular sized, and one super sized). Hibiki Toro only needs 1 or 2 small cubes to activate, but it was great to have the option! I'm sure the large cube would be perfect for something like a Lagavulin. It was really relaxing, sitting there with good friends, good drinks and a nice smoke, and the live music had a great variety of songs, from Outlaw country to classic rock to modern pop...all on a single guitar. Try this place out, but be warned...even with the excellent ventilation system in place, you WILL be in a smoky room. read more

As for me I feel that It has beautiful decor, great drink options including a cocktail list and almost all of them taste great. The service is always good and it has a great atmosphere.
