Wasn't impressed. To make what could be a long review simple. Was walking distance from my hotel, so super convenient for me. It was dead in here, and should be it was a Sunday night at 8 pm. But you'd figure you would have some nice food? Right? Ordered the hummus plate to start and it was really forgetful. Pita was dry and not great. The hummus itself was very forgetful and I feel immediately after this was splaced my main course showed up. Which is a pet peeve of mine. Space them out a little. What's the rush? I was literally one of 3 people in the restaurant. The meat from my gyro plate was very dry. You eat with your eyes and it wasn't appetizing. Overall, maybe it was an off night. But I don't think I'll come back even if it was an off night.

Been many years since my last visit to Zeytin and not for any particular reason as I recall enjoying it last time, too! The hummus was not only visually appealing, but also tasted great! As I was eating the Zeytin Kebab (house special), I realized pretty quickly it was exactly what I (aka "creature of habit") ordered last time! And just like last time I remember thinking it was just a bit too "tomato saucy" tasting for my personal taste. I didn't realize (both times) that "tomato" on the menu description meant "sauce" instead of grilled pieces alongside the meal. Also if there was "butter on top", I totally missed that part. Not horrible, but I'll definitely be trying something different next time. Service was great. Friendly. Somewhat slow, but I think we hit a shift change. Atmosphere nice. The patio overlooking the (small amount of) water might be nice on cooler days or after the sun goes down. Today it didn't really look all that inviting and maybe not even open. Definitely worth a visit!

this place is pretty good I ordered a few things via Uber eats : 1) borek cigar - pretty good but I think that it would be best to eat it hot right when it comes out . 3.6/5 2) kibbeh - I do prefer the version with a thinner wrap and not rice but it was still pretty good . The accompanying garlic sauce was great (3.9/5) 3) iskindar- this is one of my favourite Turkish cuisine dishes . It was ok here - a little bit too dry (3.6/5) A descent Turkish food option here in Arlington

Customer service was excellent, splitting 8 bills and serving the food quickly. The restaurant was fancy looking and is good for large parties or romantic couples. The price for food was reasonable, yet quality of food definitely can improve. My order of Zeytin kebab was drier than expected, which led me to asking for more tomato sauce. The Turkish coffee was very ground and not fine. Even with sweets, the coffee was more bitter than what I had in Turkey.

Im stopping in the middle of my dessert to post. Highly recommend. You will arrive to a welcoming and warm staff. Cleaniness is a 10. Service a 10. Meals were fresh and satisfying. We sat outside on a beautiful sunny yet cool, soon to be , fall day. We opted for dessert, Baklava with coffee, inside while we completed our business meeting. I acknowledged the chef and waitress attended to each individual with equal genuine customer service. My new spot to fill my Mediterranean craving. Menu items ordered: Greek salad (small fed two people added chicken), Beef Kabobs, Tzatziki dip, Baklava with coffee

Beautiful atmosphere. Good amount of parking. Lots of natural light. They serve wine!! Overlooking some water and nature but still close to lots of other businesses and main roads. -craving hummus so I picked the first place that came up--what a great surprise to find this place! -the inside is very well done, has a stone wall and other decor that truly feels like I'm in the Mediterranean. Service: was great! I got here right when they opened, so I ordered my food at the counter. Not sure if I was supposed to wait at my table LOL but I was able to pay right away. I got my drink and appetizer very quickly. -not on the menu, but I got a chicken shawarma plate. It was AWESOME! everything was colorful and felt healthy and fresh. -came with chicken, -pickled pink veggies(I think cabbage and beet) -rice (so good, I always run out!) -and a cucumber/tomato salad. I also ordered French fries and an order of hummus. -I should have specified to get the fries closer to when I got my entree because I ate half of them right away, also very delicious. -the order of hummus was good. My friend got pita from here one time and it was softer than the one I had today. As soon as it cooled off/room temperature, it became hard and chewy. Thank you!! Will have to come back!

We came here on a Saturday afternoon. I had heard about this Middle Eastern in the past. It is tucked away with some other businesses there at 114 and O'Conner. Upon sitting down and reviewing the menu, I realized it was Turkish Cuisine. We started with The Calamari. It was crispy and not too oily. We also had The Hummus. It was definitely fresh. The Shephard Salad was also tasty. We ended up splitting the Kofte Kebab. It was made of ground beef. It came in patties instead of the traditional skewers. It was grilled to perfection. The grilled Tomatoes and Zucchini were so good that we asked for another side. We finished our meal with the fresh made Baklava. The service was good, the restaurant was clean, and the food was tasty. We will come again.

The service is great. Typical Greek/Turkish Mediterranean food. Lunch is best especially when they make their fresh pita in the wood oven.

Ask the Community - Zeytin Mediterranean Grill

Do they make their döner meat from scratch, or buy it pre-made?

Not sure. Best to call the restaurant. Ordered lamb entree, and don't remember seeing a vertical rotisserie.

    Do they serve halal meats?

Yes, Zeytin Grill does offer Halal meat.

We were greeted and seated right away. Service throughout was warm and attentive, our server checked on us a few times to make sure everything was good. They started us with warm, crispy bread and a yogurt-based dip that was quite flavorful. I ordered the lamb shish kebab platter (well done), and we also tried the chicken shish kebab platter. Both came with buttery rice, a fresh salad drizzled with olive oil, and yogurt sauce. The chicken was tender and properly seasoned, but the lamb was the highlight. Lamb can easily turn dry or overly gamey if not handled right, but this was juicy, tender, and packed with flavor even when cooked well done, exactly how a good shish kebab should be. I skipped dessert this time, though they offer a few options, and I noticed what appeared to be a buffet setup, which I'm curious to try next. Overall, a solid, well executed Mediterranean meal. I'll definitely be back to explore more of the menu.

I don't recall ever getting the rice before, so I was really glad to try it. It was light and fluffy and seasoned just right. The chicken was so warm and had all the yummy earthy flavors that I loved, which went great with the bread and hummus! I love the fries, because although they are simple, they've always been hot and fresh out the fryer!!! Seasoned just right as well. The music is nice and you can tell they really focus on creating a beautiful Mediterranean experience. The food is completely incredible and very unique. This is not your average Greek pita place. This is a restaurant that could easily be in Turkey for some European country. We started with the Mezza platter ( $29) - which included 6 different dips. It's pricey for an appetizer, but it is definitely worth it because it's so unique and flavorful. It was probably my favorite thing that we ate. Everything felt just a little bit overpriced for what it is. My baseline comparison is Hillstones and R&D, and this is definitely Hillstone's pricing, but not the same experience overall. My wife and I shared the lamb shank and the falafel platter and also had a side of cauliflower (which was incredible). My 3 year old had the kids item which was $18!?. it was all very very good. My wife and I had a glass of wine and the average price was $18. They also had no descriptions of what style of wine it was e.g. Cabernet Sauvignon. When I asked the server, he just recommended the Caymus. The service was transactional and something you would get at most fast casual restaurants. I get that a lot of the servers are not professional servers. For the mezze platter, it would've been helpful to have an explanation of what was on it. Basically they brought the food. They took our order and that was it. Parents: they have one kids meal which included four chicken kebabs and a side of either rice or fries ($18). The price felt very steep for a kids meal. I probably would rather have had half the portion size for half the price.

I observed him enter the kitchen area and blow his nose over food. He then briefly ran his hands under water, in the kitchen, without using soap and immediately resumed handling food.
