The service here was great, and there was no weight. Their garlic naan was a nice size and had a slightly sweet glaze on it. I had the korma chicken and got spice level 3. The next time, I'll get spice level 4. They gave complimentary soup too which was really sweet of them. I think overall the food was a bit too salty for me, but everything was decent and flavored really well.

I decided to stop in and try a couple of items during happy hour. I started with the pakora, which was solid flavorful and nicely seasoned. Next, I tried the tandoori wings, and unfortunately, they missed the mark. The wings were cold and didn't appear to be cooked through, making them a bit chewy and unappealing. That said, the place has potential. The atmosphere was really nice, and the flavors in the pakora showed promise. I'll give it another try in the future and sample some other dishes. The service was good...They did reheat or make the wings, which I appreciated.

This is a new-ish place that we happen to stumble upon, and we are so glad we did. Food was excellent, (the naan bigger than your forearm!), ambiance was nice, and service was impeccable. The owner Shilu also came to check on us and tell us a bit about the traditions and the traditional foods from Nepal. Space and decor was well thought out, but the food was the stunner. Everything was sooo good. And I'm not super familiar with this style of food and everyone took the time to explain and help us choose amazing dishes.

The food is really good over here and their service is excellent. We tried their garlic naan, paneer appetizer, tilapia fish curry, and Kashmiri old-fashioned.. everything is really delicious and flavorful.

Very casual dinner experience on a weekday night! They remodeled the place from the old smash burger and they did a fantastic job! The apps, naan, and entrees were very large so consider sharing while selecting your plates for the night! For those of you who love spicy foods make sure you tell them to max it out their spice levels are kind of underwhelming. Remember it's a natural spicy taste not like a trying to kill you spicy flavor. We got the buffalo dumpling platter which was delicious most definitely easy and worth to share with the table. Then we tried three different curries! We got the Saffron chicken curry (my favorite), Korma Lamb Curry, and the Saag Lamb Curry. The Saffron chicken curry came out really fancy! Chicken rolled in an egg then covered in the curry it had a nice creamy texture and taste to it. The Korma Lamb was more on the creamier curries as well! The Saag lamb curry had a lot of spicies in it and it created a different type of texture to it than the other two. All three tasted delicious so I highly recommend bringing a group of friends and sharing entrees with everyone! Most definitely try all the different naans they have! Their mango lassi was a very refreshing drink that I would Highly recommend! Service was quick and they were very nice! We had so many questions I felt kind of bad asking so many questions about their about their menu. It was our first time trying Nepali food so we were really curious! Please check them out and go out of your way to try something new that they are bringing to Arlington! Thank you so much Saffron Kitchen for sharing your culture with Arlington! We are glad to have you here!

love Indian food & wanted to try out a new place so i stumbled upon this gem. The place is neat, it has a very modern look to it, nice ambience. The waitress that attended us was super super attentive and sweet! Honestly would return just for the service alone! They also provide a complimentary soup & salad. I would say my top 3 dishes were the vegetable samosas, the korma lamb, and the garlic cilantro naan! (honorable mention: gulab juman) it's definitely worth stopping by!

Cant believe I never wrote a review for this restaurant!!…read more This is my favorite, go to for Indian food. I usually only come here for the buffet and I have never been disappointed by it. The food is always hot and constantly being made. The flavors are amazing and they have veggie options as well. They have a salad section as well as a dessert station as well. I never seen it be busy, it has good customer service and is very clean. That rice is so fluffy I would eat that everyday, my favorite dish after that is probably the chicken tikka masala. Then the tandori chicken is finger-licking good paired with some of their nan bread. The spice level is not crazy like other places so I think why so many people come here as well, because its a nice balance on flavor and spice. Like I mentioned before, I only been here for the buffet but I am sure their regular dinner services by the plate are just as delicious. Highly recommend coming here if you are in the area to try it out.

They're known for their absolutely fantastic lunch and dinner buffet with prices that are hard to beat, especially in this economy! I don't eat there in person often, but it's one of our top go-to spots for takeout/delivery. I swear it's just as good delivered to your doorstep as it is at the restaurant itself. They really know how to securely pack up a to-go order, I'll tell you that. I know we don't live far away, but still. It always arrives piping hot. Besides the obvious and ever-beloved chicken tikka masala (insanely good), I'm a big fan of their Mulligatawny Mughlai Soup (lentil soup with rice and chicken). It's super savory with a little lemony brightness. Ultra comfort food! We're also big fans of their veggie biryani: super fragrant basmati rice all dolled up with fresh veggies, paneer, raisins, and almonds. We also love their Bombay potatoes (spicy potatoes with mustard seed) and their Chana Masala Punjabi: spicy chick peas, potatoes, and onions in a tomato and onion gravy. How good does that sound?!

We also shared the chicken vindaloo and butter chicken and both were well seasoned and great portions. The garlic naan was amazing and freshly made. The tandoori bone-in chicken was crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside and the spices and flavor were excellent. I got it with a side of rice and cooling raita sauce, with were great complements to the chicken. The service was great, and they were very patient with me given my lack of familiarity with most of the menu items and seemingly unending list of questions. The combos came with a drink including house made mango lassi. While we waited for our food, we sat in the restaurant that was clean and well lit. The kitchen is open to the restaurant and we could see that it was completely renovated. Both dishes were very good. The butter chicken was sweet and creamy and the chicken was tender. The kadhi was very flavorful with a good amount of heat. We had both garlic and butter naan. The house made mango lassi was very fresh. The portions are good for the price and we enjoyed both dishes. Looking forward to going back to try the tacos and Tandoori check.

October 2025 7:00ish…read more Location: Bowen street, where Ho Ho's Kitchen used to be. Next to 24 Hour Tacos. Staff: Very sweet/ pleasant. Quick. I was taken care of in less than 10 minutes. Food I ordered: Butter Chicken Combo (I ordered medium spice), which comes with rice, naan (I got garlic), one samosa, and a salad (which I believe has sprouted mung bean, chickpeas, corn, cucumber, orange bell pepper? Some sort of Veggie mix). This combo did not come with a drink. I ordered through the drive thru- which was soooo convenient. You have to pull up to the window to place your order and pay-- the drive thru speaker did not work and had a sign that tells you to pull around. Price : $16.23 after tax, which is pretty average for this meal. To go presentation : The samosa and naan were both wrapped separately and labeled. The butter chicken, salad, and rice came in a plastic container, and the food was all separated inside of that container. Quality: The food was hot (temperature). Spice level for medium was just right. I would not go up a level. The Butter chicken was good. The sauce was sweet with good spices, but not overly sweet. Usually, I go to Roti in Dallas, but this would be an alright substitute, for sure. The naan was good, buttery and soft-- they cut it into fourths. The salad and samosa-- I'm glad I tried it just to experience it, but both I've never had before, and I wouldn't have to have them again. Not nasty, but I usually don't get anything outside of chicken, naan, and rice. Quantity- I will preface with saying that I am full!! But- I wish more chicken came with the combo. I'm used to getting Indian food and eating off of it and saving the rest for lunch the next day. Tonight, I ate all of this. There were five pieces of chicken (yes, I counted) drowned in the sauce. I ended up cutting them in half to "have more" (girl math) with my rice. Hopefully, next time when I go, and I just get the rice and butter chicken, there's more chicken-- since that would be the only thing I'm ordering. If there's not? The rating would go down, whenever I give an update. Will I return? Absolutely. I'm not sure if there's a drive thru anywhere near here for Indian Food. They're winning!
