    Carrot cake

Went today for a birthday lunch. The service is always terrific and very attentive. The filet mignon was tender, the mashed potatoes were so creamy and their cheeseburger was huge and delicious. The best part - dessert. We had a small slice of raspberry cheesecake that was very delicious without being overly sweet. But we had the carrot cake and it is the best I have ever tasted. The chef explained that he uses peanut butter chips instead of nuts and it gives it a creamy taste that is not too sweet. It is pure heaven!!

The standouts for me were the butternut squash soup, break pudding and the filet with the mushroom sauce. That mushroom sauce will make you lick the place ( I asked for more). The break pudding has just the right amount of sweetness and did not have raisers. The butternut squash soup is something I can eat daily. It warmed my body up and set the stage for a good meal. I would come back here. Oh and the service was kind and attentive.

The girlfriends and I all went out for a friend's Christmas party. We ordered all the appetizers and split them all. Absolutely everything was delicious! The service was wonderful, and the drinks were excellent too! I recommend for a special night out.

This was my third time dining here, it's just that good! I tried a different starter and it was amazing. Unfortunately, the bread pudding took a while to come out and it was not worth the long wait.

Enjoyed our 30th wedding anniversary at Meehan's and it did not disappoint. Justin, our server, was awesome...the food, OMG!!! French Onion soup, outstanding. NY strip top notch, my wife had the Filet Mignon, she said super good. The side we had, Mac & Cheese, Brussel Sprouts, and Jalapeño Cream Corn, were incredible...great romantic atmosphere...always love it here and will continue to promote them...highly recommend!!!

Amazing dinner for our first time at Meehan's. The wife and I met 3 other friends on a Thursday evening (17-Apr-2025). We had a 6 pm dinner reservation. We used their valet parking. It's a great feature and is free except for tip. I tipped $5 upon return of my truck. Note that it's best to approach from the south if you're planning to use valet parking. Once inside, we checked in with the host and had just a few minutes wait for them to advise our server and ready our table. Upon being seated, our server, Eloy R arrived to greet us. Water was served, drinks were ordered and we studied the menu for a bit. After enjoying our cocktails for a while, we placed our dinner order. My wife and I shared the following: - Four Roses Old Fashioned (me) - Cabernet wine (her) - 6 oz Filet, medium rare with Au Poivre sauce - Wedge Salad - Cream Corn (shared with table) - Mashed Potatoes (shared with table) We loved it all! The filet was perfectly cooked and the Au Poivre sauce is amazing. We can recommend Meehan's to anyone looking for a great steak, top notch service, valet parking at a fine dining restaurant.

Service was like 2/10 and food was 9/10 dare I say 10/10! Total for 2: $226 and change. Occasion: Wedding Anniversary Steak was amazing, cut like butter. I got the peppercorn crusted 6oz. Husband got the regular. Calamari was okay, it's better at Tipsy Oak in Arlington but the Serrano cilantro aioli was so good! Brussel sprouts, mushrooms and Mac and cheese were divine! Cherry martini was delish. My husband had a few beers. Would go back but hoping to not get the same server (Judah)! My cocktail remained empty for about 15 min before he asked if I wanted another. Same with water. He was much more attentive to the other groups 4+. Other service team members had to tend to our table. He seemed scatterbrained and again, would frequent the other tables with 4 or more people versus our table of 2. Drinks rang up incorrectly than what was on the menu. What was the cherry on top of an unpleasant and FIRST experience is that even though he asked what we were in for this evening (our 11 year anniversary, we told him), there was no complimentary dessert given. Of note, the table right next to us was given a slice of cheesecake for their anniversary which seemed to surprise the guests so I know they didn't order it. Would have been nice to be acknowledged in the same regard. We went to Cheesecake Factory afterward to get our anniversary treats there!!

Food was good, hospitality was a plus. Easy to find location and plenty parking. I must say after a few visits no complaints thus far.

We went to celebrate my husbands birthday. Our waitress was Amber. She was great! She was spot on with her recommendations. The food was excellent. We shared the porter house steak. It was more than enough for the both of us. For sides we had spinach and mashed potatoes. The sides were good as well. My husband had the speciality Old Fashion. He said he prefers the regular Old Fashion better, but he still drunk it. I had the speciality Lemon Drop ...two of them. We will be back.

Was visiting friends in town who chose this for lunch. In the end, it was a really nice meal. Would I necessarily need to go back? Probably not. However, our friends use it for a lot of their special occasions so I can absolutely see that utility and if we lived in the area would likely do the same. We got three dishes: the calamari, the house cobb, and the apple Brie melt. The calamari was interesting, in a different shape than I'm accustomed to. The sauce was meh, but overall this was a great app. The cobb was excellent, almost too many ingredients but in a way I didn't mind. The melt was probably my least favorite only because it was a bit on the boring side. The service was shockingly excellent. The restaurant was pretty empty when we came for lunch, so the attention was astounding. But you can tell they really pride themselves on professionalism and great service.

I'm gonna make this review short and sweet! An A+ dining experience. The ambiance, the service, the food, the wine offerings... all first class. And plenty of parking. Free Parking! NO. Really. This is Mansfield, people, not Fort Worth or Dallas. So well worth the drive (well except for what looks a third world road construction project on I-20/820. Find an alternate route until this is completed). The service is exceptionally efficient...multiple people attending to each table - servers, runners, hosts and hostesses, managers. Impressive. And every single one is hustling about their business so fast that at one point my wife said "They're wearing me out! ". LOL. Perfectly cooked filet. Excellent onion soup and wedge salad. As the wine list is not posted on the website I'm posting it here. Also the menu on the website is not current. Prices are unsurprisingly a few dollars higher.

5 stars great service all the way around. Bree was our server and she went above and beyond accommodating our party of 10!! We will be back!!

She took our drink order and came back immediately with them. We order an appetizer and the 19oz steak, and an order of 12 grilled shrimp with rice. Sweet potatoes all around and side salads. The salads and appetizer of fried pickles came out. The fried pickles were piping hot and with a side of house made ranch dressing! Yum! The salads were so fresh and crisp... croutons, grape tomatoes, eggs. It was a wonderful salad! I think next time I'll get a bigger one! The steak came out perfect temp and exactly Medium Rare. The grilled shrimp also came out well! Perfect temperature and color! The rice was piping hot. The sweet potatoes were also great! My friend also tried the strawberry margarita and said it was delish! I was driving, so only ice tea for me! Emily was on point bringing us refills and didn't bat an eye, when we stopped her for a water and artificial sweetener.... She brought it promptly. The table we sat at was a booth and chair combo. The company that I was with sat in the chairs, they did complain that the chairs were a little low to the table and they sat really hard.... Padding on the seats would have been preferred. I sat on the bench, which was comfortable since it was padded. The manager, Bree, made an appearance at our table and greeted us, asking about our experience. This was a really nice touch. Now let me say one thing, if you are looking for a quiet dinner, this place is not for you. This is what I consider a Family restaurant, children and loud noise from everywhere. Not my favorite kind of place to eat, but the quality of the food made up for the racket. Also, if you have a peanut allergy, get your food to go. There are bags of peanuts on every table. I DID smell peanuts while there. I have an allergy but can take the smell in small doses. It didn't last but for those with severe sensitivity, beware. Would I eat here again? Definitely! But I think I will go when most people are at work.

The ambiance and overall aesthetic are incredible, casual yet modern, with a classy upscale feel. From the moment you sit down, they set the tone by bringing out a complimentary glass of champagne, which is such a nice touch. They also bring fresh popovers (made fresh upon request), and they're always a great start to the meal. For appetizers, we ordered the hamachi crudo and oysters. The hamachi never disappoints, and the oysters were incredibly fresh and delicious. For our main course, we typically go with the dry-aged ribeye and a wedge salad. The ribeye is easily one of my favorite steaks in DFW, consistently cooked perfectly and packed with flavor. While the food is always excellent, the service is what truly sets Wicked Butcher apart. The staff is consistently attentive, warm, and genuinely invested in making the experience feel special. To top off the evening, they surprised us with a complimentary dessert for my fiancé's birthday, and it was fantastic. One of the most impressive things about Wicked Butcher is that the pricing feels very fair for the level of quality, service, and overall experience. The swank, Art Deco atmosphere matches the hotel perfectly, but the food is the real star. For lunch, the Wicked Burger was phenomenal. Built with cheddar, caramelized onions, mushrooms, and a rich sauce on a toasted sesame brioche bun, it hits every savory note perfectly. The rest of the table was equally thrilled with their choices, including the French Dip (loaded with caramelized onions, provolone, and horseradish-garlic aioli on a baguette with a stellar au jus) and the crisp Steak Cobb salad. The truffle fries were a massive hit and a frequent topic of conversation around the table, and even the fountain Diet Coke was perfectly calibrated. I'd be completely remiss if I didn't mention the monster rolls brought out for the table--they are giant, incredibly airy, golden popovers served with a spectacular rosemary honey butter that steals the show before the main course even arrives. For breakfast, I wanted to stay on the healthier side and ordered the Sinclair Breakfast with chicken sausage. The sausage delivered incredible flavor with a perfect, distinct peppery bite. The plate was beautifully balanced with delicate microgreens, and the breakfast potatoes were a total standout--perfectly executed with a great outer char and deep flavor. Paired with excellent, robust Lavazza drip coffee, it was a flawless start to the morning. Across both visits, the staff was incredibly friendly, helpful, and highly attentive with beverage refills. Top-tier service, great quality, and an absolute must-visit in Fort Worth.

Decision made, 54th Street for dinner it is. Arriving at the restaurant, we were greeted by one of the hostesses and shown to our table. Ava, our bubbly server, greeted us and took our drink orders. It always takes us a while to decide since there is SO many delectable items on 54th Street's menu. My wife decided on the Chicken Avocado Grill, with a side of fries. I opted for a half rack of baby back ribs with beans and Cole slaw. Miss Reba, our diva dog at home, will be VERY happy when her daddy brings home bones. After a short wait, Ava came by to let up know out entrees were almost ready. We told her we were in no rush at all, which we weren't. All the sudden one of the kitchen expeditors delivered our entrees. Oh yummy, everything looked wonderful. She loves 54th Street's fries. So the French fries were the first to be tasted. I saw an ugly face and wondered what was wrong. I tasted one of the fries and made the same ugly face. The was WAY TOO much salt on the fries. They were inedible. Fortunately one of the managers was close by and I summoned him to our table. My wife explained what the issue was with the fries. Since the French fries were on a separate plate, the manager asked if he could taste them. Yep, ugly face, way over seasoned. He said he'd be right back. He took the plate back to the kitchen. Shortly, he arrived back at our table with a new plate of fries and a cup of 54th Street's special seasoning on the side. Everything solved and a happy wife.
