We went to this restaurant with a few friends. The décor was nice, and it had big screen TVs, which was a plus for watching the World Cup, though it wasn't crowded or really an event-focused spot. I ordered a burger, and I asked I am okay with caramelized onion, but no raw onion even though the waitress wrote it down, my burger came with raw onions! The service was slow, (while the restaurant was not even busy at the time) The food was okay, nothing special, in my opinion had lack of spice. My husband's cocktail was overly sweet, though my friend liked his martini. read more

The overall experience fell far short of expectations, particularly given the restaurant's upscale reputation. Even with a large group that had orders organized ahead of time, service was disorganized and significantly delayed. Beverages took an extended period to arrive, and meals were not served until much later than reasonable. Simple requests such as utensils, additional place settings, and drink refills had to be repeated multiple times. Food quality was inconsistent, with several dishes arriving at improper temperatures or not cooked as expected. Some beverages were also clearly not prepared correctly, and staff acknowledged internal issues but did little to correct the situation in a meaningful way. In addition, there was an error with billing that resulted in a duplicate charge. When these concerns were raised, management appeared dismissive and did not take appropriate steps to address or resolve the problems. Overall, the experience did not align with the standards one would anticipate. Not hearsay, this is facts! read more

Due to the location, I suggest you check the schedule of events at Texas Live and the surrounding stadiums. Parking can be a nightmare if there's something going on! My daughter and I went to the Christmas market across the street and parked there. You enter the doors and ride the elevator up to the restaurant. The exterior is gorgeous even without all the beautiful holiday decorations. Our server was new but did a great job. We ordered the bruschetta and told the server we would like to split an order of chicken Alfredo. Everything was tasty and we really appreciated that the kitchen divided our entree! The prices were quite reasonable to me. It would be a great place for a business meal or a date. Weekly entertainment is offered in the bar area. read more

The staff was really sweet! I love the concept but there's kinks that should be ironed out. I only took a pic of my appetizer because it took so long for my entree. The food was mid to be so expensive. I won't return but I'm glad I tried it out. read more

Absolutely abysmal service. Interesting environment and atmosphere. Looks very upscale but has the service level of an Arby's. Was not able to order food, but what I did see looked subpar. read more

This place is so cool, we went when it opened so it was pretty empty but that allowed us to be able to look around and chat with the staff more. The place has such a cool 20s vibe, it's crazy to think what that space was when the ballpark was running to what it is now. We ordered the fried jalapeños and pickles, delicious, crunchy, great flavor. Had a cute grinch drink and absolutely perfectly soft cheesecake! The bartender was super friendly and chatted with us, the manager was really cool and showed us around - don't miss out on the cigar humidor room and patio! I will definitely be going back at a later time to experience more of what hearsay has to offer read more

The Strawberry Cheescake was delightfully tasteful and rich, not too sweet. It was just the right level of sweet that it should be. The Grinch Heart was a great Xmas-themed drink that really puts you in a holiday mood. The Goat Cheese and Jalapeno Marmalade struck the right balance between savory and sour on my taste buds, along with the bread sticks to ease the flavors. Betsy was super nice and attentive. She was the waitress that served us and she explained the menu super well. The vibes are super moody and chill. Jazz music, low lights, live band, movie star vibes. Loved it! Def feel super fancy! read more

Very cool speakeasy concept making the ambience very nice. The problem is it builds your expectation. They were very short staffed, but they were pleasant. They were bringing out the wrong food items constantly with mix ups in the kitchen. I had a New York strip, medium rare, and my friend had the fillet medium well. The cuts of meat and the expertise in cooking steaks was below average. Maybe it would be better on a different night. read more

I first contacted Hearsay on January 23 in an attempt to book a memorial service for my father in one of their private rooms. After not hearing from the event planner Meggan for nearly two weeks (after sending several emails and trying to come up with a menu that would meet contract needs) she proceeded to ghost me. I then called the restaurant after two weeks in order to speak with someone over the phone. However, I was told Meggan was busy working on another event by an incredibly dismissive person over the phone. I insisted on leaving my number in hopes that someone would contact me but to no avail. I am incredibly disappointed by the lack of professionalism and service this place has offered in what is an otherwise quite stressful time in my life. I would not recommend ever trying to book an event here and I seriously hope management improves the service their event staff offers. read more

I've only been here for a cigar and drinks. Each time it's been extremely pleasant. It's a blast having a cigar on the patio overlooking the old ball park. Even though it is an xfl field now. It still gives a certain aura that is reminiscent of the old park. The drinks are always good and the staff is friendly. The chicken sandwich did look great someone was eating. read more

Place a super cool the prohibition style 1920s decorations. Lots of old school photos all over the place from the dining room side to their lounge where they have live entertainment and music throughout the week. Hung out outside on the patio, where they have cigars available and an awesome view of the old stadium. Food is really good and had a good variety. It's American Grill but for Salsa night they had a special men and with super reasonable prices. The bartenders were nice and our waitresses really took care of us. read more

Unfortunately, this was a very disappointing experience. The drinks were extremely weak and tasted watered down. The food was not good and very inconsistent, and to make matters worse, the menu did not match three out of the four items we ordered, which was frustrating and confusing. Service?.... what service..... The only redeeming part of the visit was the live music--it was enjoyable and truly the only saving grace of the night. Overall, this was not worth the time or money. I will not be returning and would not recommend this restaurant. read more

I had the duck and it was delicious. The chicken was overcooked and dry. The salmon was delicious. It was quite annoying to be seated by the lounge where the band was playing loud and the music overhead was loud and we had to listen to two different music Sounds. We asked the waitress to turn off the music in the restaurant and she didn't act like that was something she could do so she moved us to the back corner of the room. Our waitress was new and she kept telling us that over and over again and kept apologizing for every little thing. I think she said I'm sorry about 8 times. read more

Ambiance was nice, the event was lovely. SOME of the staff was dismissive and rude with the exception of the short blond waitress she was lovely. Bartender charged automatic gratuity to some of the women in my group but the men were not charged automatic gratuity. Also the bartender turned her back to pour the drink and when we tasted it and questioned the liquor in the drink she automatically got defensive and said "you saw me pour it". Racism in service settings often shows up in subtle but harmful ways--dismissive or hostile tones, unequal enforcement of policies, and stereotyping. During my experience, I observed leadership behaviors that raised serious concerns about fairness and cultural awareness, particularly in interactions with Black women. The treatment felt inconsistent and unprofessional compared to others in the same setting. Leadership sets the tone for any establishment. When concerns like this arise, it calls into question whether proper training, accountability, and inclusive practices are in place. Before making a reservation, I encourage others to read reviews on platforms like Google, Yelp, and TikTok to get a broader sense of customer experiences. Lastly, I hope the owner which is the Mayor of Arlington becomes more hands on. The current General Manager and Manager (Kaylee) will cause this establishment to close down. read more

Terrible place for a group! They advertised a "Dinner and Wine pairing" and reservations were made for 20. When we arrived and talked to the manager about setup etc. were told "Oh we don't have time for that. It won't happen!" Wait staff was unbelievably bad. Acted like they had never been out to dinner and did not know what to do. Waited an hour to get a glass of wine! One of our group said," I'm not paying $38 for an Applebee's $10 steak!" Food did not come out all at once, some people were finished eating before the others got their food. Quality of the food was fair. read more

I was at hearsay yesterday for dinner watched Kaylee the manager handle one of the craziest situations I've seen in a restaurant. A whole group of people surrounded her, yelling, recording her on their phones, and trying to intimidate her over an entrée that had already been comped and a gratuity issue. It was honestly uncomfortable to watch. Through all of it, she never lost her cool. She didn't raise her voice, didn't get defensive, and didn't let them bully her. She stayed calm, explained everything clearly, and handled it like a true professional. A lot of managers would have folded under that kind of pressure, but she didn't. On top of that, the restaurant was extremely busy -- and the food still came out great. Everything was fresh, hot, and on point, which says a lot about how well she runs her team even during chaos. You can tell she truly leads from the front. She protects her staff, stands by policy, and keeps things moving no matter what's going on. Five stars all day. read more

My wife made an 8pm reservation at Hearsay on Feb 13 for my birthday. From the moment we arrived, things went downhill, no host at the stand, a confused first day server, and explicit music blasting overhead. Service was disorganized, and our Caesar salad was delivered to another table. When our entrées finally arrived, the quality was shocking. My steak was overcooked, dry, and oddly hot and cold at the same time. My wife's portobello pasta was so overloaded with black pepper it was literally inedible. We politely told the server we'd like the check for what we had eaten and drank. She went to get the manager which is where the night completely unraveled. The manager, approached us with zero professionalism, no apology, and an accusatory tone. When we explained the issue with the pasta, he looked at my wife and said, "Well, that's your opinion." When I stated I didn't want to pay for an inedible dish, he responded: "Well then I'm going to call the police." I've worked in and around restaurants my whole life, and I've never witnessed anything like this. I ended up paying just to avoid further escalation. They also failed to credit the $25 reservation fee. We've enjoyed Mercury Chophouse many times, but after this experience, we will think twice about visiting any restaurant associated with this group. Extremely disappointing, unprofessional, and unacceptable. read more

Wow! What a fabulous gem! I have been living in the Arlington area for almost 20 years and never came across this fabulous Restaurant and Event Center. Hearsay is located in the Choctaw Baseball Stadium, formally known as Globe Life Field. This is a Fabulous Bar and Restaurant that also hosts live events. The staff are incredibly attentive and cheerful. Special shout out to our bartenders Cody and Zach as well as our server, Joel. Our group of 10 people had a fantastic time. Service: The staff did their best to provide a great experience. Food: While I appreciated the effort, I found the burger a bit too dried out and salty for my taste, and it had quite a bit of mayo. The fries had a surprising sweetness to them--maybe a unique twist for some! The salmon was definitely flavorful, but the soy sauce was a bit overwhelming. The broccoli, topped with packaged dry cheese, was a creative choice. read more

If I could just give a Meh.... but it wouldnt be fair to the reader or restaurant. This place is in a perfect location and the ascetics are stunning. We had already eaten so just wanted a few appetizers but the waitress told us the kitchen was closed. Then a couple sat next to us and had menus to handed to them by another waiter. They attempted to order and our bartender told them the kitchen was closed. The couple said the other bartender told them different but our bartender took the menus. After a few back and forths the other bartender apologized to them but made sure they still got food. Yep... Then the band that had been advertised was not there so we were dissapointed at that but there was still a band. We know things happen. Then my wife ordered gin and ginger ale and the bartender brought her coke and sprite mixed in gin. Then she explained they didn't have ginger ale but "its the same thing". My wife asked for sprite and gin bc she didnt like coke and sprite. We're pretty forgiving especially when we go out because we go for the service primarily anyways and not to have to cook for ourselves. After not being able to eat but watch someone else get a fresh meal in front of us, voluntarily add something to the drink without explaining before the bartender then decided to clean while we sit and enjoy the band. With a sanitation bucket on the bar and it wasnt closing time. It was just a little after 10pm on a Friday. Check out the pic I've added to this post. Now while all of this has happened I STILL recommend trying this place out because the potential is there. You may experience something different. I mainly post so that business owners can be aware of their opportunities. Please check this place out. I hope your experience is better than ours. read more

Overall: This is a nicely decorated place. I would definitely recommend this if you have a big group. There's plenty of seating and a dance floor. Was disappointed that there was no band (check their site to see when they're scheduled) especially since the music that was playing went back more than a few decades. Service and ambiance were cool. Although I'm not a fan, I think it's worth a try. Oh! Be prepared to pay $25 for valet even though they park your car 20 ft away. Overall Rating: 7/10 What I Got + Ratings: - Lamb chops: very juicy, could've been seasoned more but they are tender. 7/10 - Fried okra (comes with the chops): this was good! 8/10 - Sweet potatoes: were okay, lean toward the sweeter side, which is good but don't stand out. 7/10 - Greens: not my favorite, taste likely they used a lot of canned pepper juice.
