Really good food price is also really good. Interesting selection of beer. Indoor and outside seat that is like a great backyard party. As per Anastasia, she did a phenomenal job. Reviews match the quality of food and ambience. This is a cool place to come and chill in the socialist district..

Stopped in here on a Friday after work for a quick date night and it was a nice vibe. We sat on the outdoor patio and enjoyed the warm weather (even in February) and there were a ton of people out and about at the Tipsy Oak. They have a lot of picnic style seating in the outside courtyard and indoor seating (which I never saw). Our waitress (and several others ) were working hard to support all the tables and it felt like they didn't miss a beat. We got our appetizer of spicy fried pickles quickly (fried to perfection and only the ranch was "spicy".. but not really if you can handle spice). They were delicious though. We also ordered the brisket tacos and loaded brisket fries and they both were very flavorful! The fries were my favorite, perfect for 2 meals! All in all, the food was good and the people were nice - I'd definitely come back!

The Tipsy Oak is such a fun place to stop in for a drink with a large group. This is one of our regular stops for our Christmas Pub Crawl. The festive themed drinks each year and the amazing fire pits to keep you toasty during the winter makes this one of our favorite stops. The service and drinks alone makes this place a must when in the area.

Atmosphere was great. We sat in the heated outdoor area to eat. The inside is quite small and the outdoor was too cold for us. We ordered the poutine and brisket nachos (asked for chips over fries) and both were excellent. Then we had the pork belly quesadilla rate 8.5 out of 10. The crispy chicken salad 9 out of 10 and the crispy chicken salad sub crispy for grilled was 9 out of 10. Chase was awesome as our server and took excellent care of us. We will definitely go back.

First impression the vibe is cozy, casual, and perfect for a laid-back night out. The menu has a little bit of everything, so we ordered a mix to really see what they were working with. We started with the Poutine which were fries topped with melted cheese curds, cheddar jack, brown gravy, and chives. It was good, but I will say it was a little overbearing with the gravy. I love flavor, but this was almost too much of a good thing. Still tasty though. Next up, the Fried Calamari was crisped to perfection. Not greasy, not chewy... just right. And that sweet pepper Thai sauce was such a good pairing. Light, flavorful, and balanced. The Blackened Salmon... very good. It came with sweet pepper Thai sauce, garlic whipped potatoes, and asparagus but I substituted the whipped potatoes for mac and cheese. The Thai sauce was truly the star of the show. It complemented the salmon so well and brought everything together. Even the side salad was very good. The Fried Cod Tacos were also very good. Two soft tacos topped with shredded lettuce, pico, cheddar jack, Sriracha aioli, and cilantro. The cod was cooked perfectly and seasoned well. My only complaint is I needed MORE Sriracha aioli because it was that good. Overall, solid experience. Good food, good flavor combinations, and definitely worth a visit if you're in the mood for comfort food with a little twist. Flavorchaser Approved!

This place has such a chill and casual vibe. plenty of outdoor seating to enjoy on a nice day and they have live music on weekends. the menu isn't too big, but it's still hard to choose from the options they do offer. I decided on the tipsy burger cooked medium well and it was so juicy and delicious. Our server was very attentive, however, it felt like she was the only one running around so it did take a little longer to get the check and get out of there. Luckily, it was a beautiful February day and the place had good music and vibes while we waited. If you like beer or seafood, or chicken tenders and burgers, and eating outside, check this place out!

Our final meal before heading home and we decided to visit the Tipsy Oak. The menu looked good and it was close by so we wanted to give it a try. And we are happy we did. We started with the fried pickles that come with a jalapeño ranch sauce that had some kick to it. The pickles were nicely fried, and not greasy at all. I had the smoked brisket grilled cheese and it was amazing. BBQ sauce was good and the onions added a lot to the sandwich. The chopped brisket was delicious and the bread was perfectly toasted and buttery. T liked her salad and K liked her grilled chicken sandwich, but neither said they were anything special. But, it's a salad and chicken sandwich, so making those entrees standout isn't easy. The brisket grilled cheese did stand out, so you should absolutely give it a try. It's a Tipsy Oak house favorite, as indicated on the menu, and for good reason. They had a good selection of local beer and you can order 5 ounce glasses for $3-$4. It's more per ounce than getting the 12 ounce, but you can sample different beers, which I liked. The electric lemonade is very sour. Very. Sour. Good, but whewwww boy, it was sour. Anyway, we really enjoyed this place and highly recommend it. They have a huge outdoor seating area if the weather is nice and their staff was very friendly.

If you're anywhere near Arlington, do yourself a favor and stop by Tipsy Oak. I ordered the brisket grilled cheese, and let me just say--it was a party in my mouth! Hands down the best brisket sandwich I've ever had. Perfectly smoked, juicy brisket with melty cheese sandwiched between buttery, toasted bread? Unmatched. And don't sleep on the chips and bacon queso--creamy, flavorful, and dangerously addictive. The service was quick and friendly, and the laid-back patio vibes made it even better. This place lives up to the hype, and I'll definitely be back. Great food Chill atmosphere Fast, friendly service You can't go wrong here. 10/10 recommend!

Great local hole-in-the-wall! My husband got the jalapeño burger and it lasted about 2 minutes. The kids tried the brisket grilled cheese and chicken tenders. I went for the spicy fried shrimp instead of the lobster roll so I could get an adult beverage too. We all enjoyed our meals. We sat outside and enjoyed the beauty spring evening. The patio was bustling for a Wednesday evening and the vibes were great!

I would say Tipsy Oak gets a 5 star for a lot of reasons. This is very likely my favorite patio in all of Arlington, if not even the whole DFW. Before you get too excited about that comment, hear me out. Live music, great food, good drink prices, and a staff that makes you feel like family. What else could you ask for? One of my favorite things is the Calamari. They serve it with this asian sauce, which of course is non-traditional, but so amazing. All the burgers are great choices, the fish and chips are huge, the brunch is also one of my favs in Arlington. Go try it out guys. Fall in love.

Amazing place for a date or group of friends, love that there was a band playing and the vibe was super chill. The weather was perfect so sitting outside was a must. Waiter was super friendly and the drinks were really good. (Dragon fruit jalapeño margarita). Food was great everyone liked the burger, I got the fish tacos and they were decent enough for me to get them again next time. Will come back!

On a hangry late night after work, I was dying for a big burger and everywhere else was closed at midnight. Until I stumbled upon this GLORIOUS place! WOW. The burgers and fries were to die for and the Thai chili wings were just as delish. Our server was kind, but very slow when we noticed other people that came in after us getting their food etc.. Otherwise the ambiance outside was killer and the exact place I want to be for every late night hanger!

Great flavor and plenty of clams, mussels and shrimp. We also really enjoyed the crispy pork - nice little kick in the sauce and the perfect amount of marbling in the meat. The carpaccio was Texas-sized. Speaking of Texas-sized, do not skip the award-winning coconut cake. It is on the pricey side for a dessert but it easily feeds 4 and yes, it is that good! Our server, Tiffani, was outstanding. She was very attentive throughout our meal, and when the Rioja we wanted was out, she poured my wife several samples to help her decide on another bottle - we ended up w an excellent easy-drinking Paso Robles Cabernet. This place is definitely worth the trip!

We opted for the tapas-style sharing, and the staff was incredibly knowledgeable and attentive. They recommended the shrimp, which was hands-down the highlight of the meal! However, the rest of the menu fell a bit short. With tapas, you expect every small bite to pack a punch, but the flavors here leaned more 'middle-of-the-road' than standout. My biggest issue, however, was the atmosphere. While I always appreciate a spotless restaurant, the staff was cleaning during service, and the overwhelming smell of bleach and Fabuloso totally took over the dining room. It's hard to enjoy a meal with strong chemical fumes in the air. Overall: fantastic staff and location, but the food and dining environment need some fine-tuning.
