Two of the bartenders not acknowledging us.
Amber E.

We walked in and was not greeted at all. We sat for over 10 minutes at the bar and not one of the 3 bartenders bothered to acknowledge us at all. A group of girls came in 5 minutes after we did and sat at a table then moved to the bar and they were instantly served. One of the bartenders went outside and we left 5 minutes later with still no serve and he was outside smoking. Still not acknowledgement. I would never go back.

My friend and I came to Hooligan's Pub for Elite Week. We hadn't been here before. It is a small pub in the UT-A campus area. There is not a lot of parking in the area. I ordered the Cinnamon Smoked Old Fashioned. The smoking part was very cool and smelled really good. I liked the drink. My friend ordered The Mockingbird. It was light and refreshing. She really liked it. They do not have a grill as food comes from another bar. They currently or at least tonight do not have table service. Best thing is to sit at the bar. It's a nice place

What a fun funky place that's hidden away. The bar is appointed beautifully with lots of dark wood. The bar-back is massive and very impressive. I ended up ordering the Cinnamon Smoked Old Fashion and my wife ordered "The Mockingbird." I've never met an "Old Fashion" that I didn't enjoy. It's a classic cocktail. Hooligan's put a neat spin on a classic. My wife enjoyed her Mockingbird which consisted of gin, strawberries, Lime and Sprite. My wife and I both had a nice time leisurely enjoying our drinks. When we're in the area again, we definitely may trying to stop in again soon.

Jonathan the bartender was a really cool dude, worth coming in for the banter alone, excellent concoctions!

Really enjoyed my visit to Hooligan's! I went probably during a non-peak time (a Monday night around 10 pm), so it wasn't overly crowded. I imagine that on a weekend night it's much different, but there are two levels of seating at least. The bartender was awesome! Very friendly and informative on the drink options. I opted for the mockingbird since it was a gin based drink. It was light and refreshing, especially with the strawberries and lemons muddled in. Would definitely stop by again.

Loved this place because the waiters were so so nice and every drink i tried was DELICIOUS I loved their handcrafted mules. The Texas peach was my fave. Also one of their watermelon drinks was a favorite. A chill place to hang out and chat for hours. Lax vibes. A cool outside hangout area too with a fake fire place and TV's.

Can't say enough. We come here often. Great cocktails. No where in Arlington can beat them at their game!

Look at all this woodwork! Such a beautiful pub.

I love Hooligan's. It's one of the only bars/pubs in the area that feels so cozy and nice and warm. Dimly lit, wooden bar, tables, chairs, floor, walls, and ceiling. The aesthetic is fun and there's cool games of thronesy chandeliers hanging from the ceiling. The bartenders are great. Sometimes there's only one bartender and it can get a little backed up, but for the most part it's pretty great and you'll get your drink pretty speedily. They have pool and darts upstairs. They don't actually serve food, but you can order off the J Gilligan's menu (they're next door). Try the Irish Nachos! At Hooligan's, try a mule or a local beer. Or whisky. Can't go wrong, really.

We stopped by on a Saturday night and it was surprisingly slow. However, we just missed the pre concert rush so the timing was perfect. This pub is what you would see on the movies. Lots of wood, lots of chairs at the bar, and lots of alcohol. It had two floors and upstairs had a couple of high top tables and a pool table. Ryan was our bartender and even though he was trying to clean up after the rush and had just came in, he was very attentive. We started with the cinnamon smoked old fashion and it was pretty cool how they made the drink. My husband said it tasted like cinnamon flavor whiskey. It was strong so he took his time with a sip here and there. I had the mockingbird. It was sweet and citrusy and not too strong. I also ordered the strawberry limeade. You couldn't taste the alcohol and it reminded me of the limeade you can get at Sonic. It was delicious and tasted like fresh strawberries. So good. We would've probably stayed longer and tried other drinks, but unfortunately due to the concert, they were not serving food. We will just be sure to eat beforehand next time. We had a good time and would come back!

Elite events are always a good time, cheers! - A martini glass with a pink cocktail garnished with a strawberry slice and a rocks glass with a cherry and lemon wedge are on a dark bar counter.

Awesome service, delish drinks, dive bar vibes. The parking was easy and you can bring whatever food in to eat or order food there that's prepared from j. Mulligans. Pretty good- we recommend the Irish nachos.

Went on a Wednesday night, fairly slow. The bartender Mark was nice and funny. Gave great service! They have a pool table and darts upstairs for $1 per game. Drinks are good and fairly priced. Will probably be back. There is one drink that's super strong! I can't remember the exact name but they light it on fire!! One drink and everyone was tipsy. But you have to CHUG it. Goodluck!!!

I'm going to be honest. I do not care for bars in Arlington. I've lived in downtown Fort Worth and downtown Dallas. I have high expectations. I will tell you that Hooligans is probably the nicest bar aesthetically in Arlington. Hand crafted wood walls and pillars. Mark and Ryan are amazing bartenders who make fantastic cocktails. Ask them for an old fashioned, a whiskey sour, or a Sazerac cocktail. They both deliver , and as a former bartender, they know how to make these cocktails in the classic recipe which means a lot to me. The atmosphere is always great, and classy. The bar is also a place that always has the Dallas Stars games on the main screens. The upstairs area has darts and a pool table. It's a great place for a date or just hanging out with friends. I highly recommend it if you want something nicer than what most of Arlington has to offer.

Super cozy pub. The old fashioned is amazing but never had a bad drink here. This place is a hidden gem.

Honestly, 4 Kahunas Tiki Lounge right here in Arlington is right up there with the very best of them. The place just feels like an instant getaway. It's tucked back off the main drag but the second you walk in you're on some tropical island, no plane ticket required. The cocktails are legit. Super well-made, great balance, real tiki depth, none of that fake sweet garbage you sometimes get. Every drink we've had has been spot-on. Maggie working the bar is the real MVP though. She's quick, knows her stuff inside out, super friendly, and somehow makes the whole night feel personal. Whatever we ordered, she crushed it and kept the good vibes going. She's a huge reason we keep coming back. Only thing that would make it even better? A water feature. A little fountain, a trickling stream down some rocks, or even a small waterfall wall in the back would dial the ambiance up to 11 and really sell that full island escape feel. If you're anywhere in the DFW area and you're into tiki or just killer cocktails, you gotta check out 4 Kahunas. Small spot, super cozy, and easily one of the best tiki experiences in Texas. Already counting down to the next visit.

We joyed every part of our dining experience (husband was a little cold but it didn't bother me)... we went today because it's my birthday and I picked this restaurant to try for our first time! We got a complimentary Prosecco for my birthday and they stopped by our table for us to sample a few new menu items (all were amazing!!) I cannot brag enough about this local restaurant!! We ordered the crispy pork for an appetizer and holy cow that sauce is 5 star!!! I teased that with white rice it would be the best ever... but so not kidding!? I had the New York strip with French fries and my husband had the Seafood Stew! My steak was yummy even though I prefer a Filet Mignon. My husband said the soup base for the seafood stew was the BEST soup base he has ever had! High compliment for sure! I had the Texas Oil Money with Woodford Reserve and that was one of the best balanced whiskey drinks I have ever had! We ended the meal with a Coconut cake (I don't love coconut) but let me tell you it was AMAZING!! The pineapple sauce you pour over the top made it a 10/10!!! I cannot wait to go back! I would give this place an extra star if I could!

The crispy pork was really good, and they give you a good size portion. I do feel the tuna crudo was overpriced for what it was but I did enjoy the little candied fruit (really unsure what it was) it had which made it different from other crudos. The tuna quality didn't seem worth it though. I enjoyed the espresso martini! It was not sweet or creamy which is what I prefer. Our server was really friendly and helpful with the menu! The prices seemed fair at first glance, and our server was actually quite pleasant throughout the night. However, the experience took a sharp turn for the worse with the food quality and management. We ordered the ribs, which were advertised as "fall-off-the-bone." Unfortunately, they were anything but. They were tough and lacked the quality you'd expect. There were four ribs on the plate; we tried two, realized the quality wasn't there, and immediately notified our waiter. We expected the kitchen or management to rectify the situation (either by replacing them or removing them from the bill) When the check arrived, we were shocked to see we were charged for the full plate. When we questioned it, the waiter informed us that the manager refused to take them off because we had "eaten them."Are you kidding? We tasted them to check the quality! It is ridiculous to be forced to pay for a dish that failed to meet its own menu description. It's a shame because I wanted this to be my new go-to spot, but because of this petty management decision, I won't be returning. I do not recommend this place if you value customer
