I have to say, "Breakfast Brothers", is my new fav brunch spot!! Came on a Sat afternoon, and this place did not disappoint! Had a bit of a wait (always a good sign), but were seated relatively quickly considering the line. The decor, the environment, and the whole vibe was on point from entry to exit. Our server, LaDairus, was prompt, attentive, and made us feel welcomed and like fam (Very much appreciated, LaDairus)!! We ordered the Red Velvet Waffle w/ Eggs & Bacon, and the Blackened Shrimp & Grits w/ a side of Fried Wings. The food came out 'hot' and looking VERY GOOD... And trust me IT WAS! Visited right at grand-opening and the service was excellent, courteous, and there was no waiting around. The space itself was clean with a genuinely nice ambiance, the kind of spot that makes a good first impression before the food even arrives. The food, unfortunately, didn't match the setting. It was well-seasoned and portions were generous, so it's not "bad" by any means but nothing about it stood out. Nothing I'd crave or go out of my way to order again. Came here while visiting Dallas. It is a cute little diner in a college area of the town. It seems like it tends to get packed so please keep that in mind when going. The menu isn't super extensive but everything on there tastes good from what I've been told. I really liked the pancakes and chicken. The wings were perfectly cooked an so were the pancakes. Food was ok. We waited about 30 mins to be seated, which was not an issue. It was how unorganized the process seemed to me. Crowding at the door, no way to tell who's next, so you had people cutting the line out of confusion. Our waitress was curt with us. I'd asked for lemon and when she'd forgotten it, she claimed they were out of lemon, then proceeded to bring others lemon after the fact. The hostess and other waiters thankfully checked in with us, so we were able to get what we needed. We understand being busy, but it gets to a point. (im pro restaurant, want them to stay in business!) and at $18 a plate with beverage it was a good value. i am not a coffee drinker but i cant say enough about the toasted cinnamon coffee - i loved it! so much so that we bought 20 k-cups from the "store" 20/$20. they also had their line of syrup and breadings as well as hats. Today is my first time getting on the road for liesure or to dine out. The spot? Breakfast Brothers. As usual, the meal was slammin on every aspect. The french toast needed no add-ons, no syrup, just a little butter and sweet Jesus, perfection. I took a pic that they have Louisiana hot sauce. For what? The wings are seasoned respectfully of the anscestors. Not greasy, not salty, herbs, real flavor. Would have felt disrespectful to use sauce. My eggs were a perfect, buttery, yolky, runny over-easy. Done the way I make them at the crib. I couldn't have done better. This is my 3rd trip to this location. It's pretty much gotta be great for me to put it in close rotation. DFW has a gozillion restaurants, so we could eat somewhere different, everyday for four years never hitting the same spot twice. They are consistently great, trip to trip again. Brunch here is worth the multiple visits. I'm loving this new vibe in Arlington. The city decided to attract some winners to revitalize Aggtown. Soon, this area will match West 7th in Funkytown. This is my first time trying this location. It wasn't a very long way to be seated so we probably waited about 10 minutes before being seated, which wasn't bad especially given the other location the wait it a lot longer. for our drinks, we tried the mango lemonade, apple juice, and the peach sweet tea. The mango lemonade was very good the peach sweet tea, not so much, and obviously the apple juice was just apple juice. For the food, I ordered the special on the lunch side that was supposed to be fried chicken, wings, eggs, potatoes, and Texas toast. It's listed for $19. Ince it rings up it's already $20. I was told that I could sub the Texas toast for French toast. I didn't know that it would be an up charge, but I figured it would be a slight up charge it was almost 8 dollars for that French toast, which is insane for one because it's only two pieces and I wish I had known, because it would've just given me a better idea of what to expect or to stick with the original meal. I ordered the waffle plate which had waffles, eggs, and a side. The side of bacon was not good. I also ordered a side of Patty sausage which my kids said we're good, but they absolutely refused to touch the bacon after one bite. Overall my food was really good, but I'm not sure that I would go back for it. I just think you have to be more upfront in your up mcharge or additional charge or whatever that charge is going to be so that they aren't blindsided because 7-8 dollars for a slice of bread of French toast. The service was impeccable! Everyone was easy going and attentive. I visited on a quiet Tuesday. It was still busy, but I was seated immediately. It's a large menu, so I selected the first 'star' dish that I saw. The red velvet chicken and waffle tacos was good. I liked the softness of the taco shell. Came in to celebrate after a graduation. We had a reservation for a party of 13, but ended up with 20 people. The restaurant easily accommodated us and made everything so simple. The host, and waiters were amazing. The food was excellent, all 20 orders were excellent, There were no complaints from anyone not even the kids. The Chicken Tenders, Catfish, and lobster Mac were all amazing. I could go on naming all 20 orders of food but to keep it short The food was amazing, and this place must definitely be visited if it ever pops up on ur radar. Finally got around to trying this place out. The area that the restaurant is in is super cute! The parking is funky but it's dfw so what do you expect. Went to see a waitress I know that works there but she was off lol our server was cool though and the service was good/average. Nothing great but nothing bad. I ordered the mango mimosa and the strawberry mimosa. I liked the strawberry better but the mango was also really good. I ended up ordering the pancakes and fried fish because that's a combination I never had and was intrigued lol. Separately, both items were good. The pancake was good and not overly sweet, which I like. The fried fish was also good, I will get it fried hard next time but it flaky and seasoned well. I don't however, think the two things go together. But maybe it might pair better with the red velvet pancakes. I did like the food and will return to try more food items. The servers and the ambience was amazing. Felt like we were in somebody's home, enjoying some home-cooked meals. The reason for my low rating would be the food quality. I tend to try to order many items on the menu so I could get an overall fill of the food they serve collard greens were very good, but they seemed very soupy. The cornbread was very very dry for my liking, you could crumble it up like sand. And myself had the steak and eggs, and the potatoes could have used a little more crispiness. I ordered the Cajun Bisquits and gravy. They were not too bad they were enjoyable. I was surprised when I learned that their sweet tea was just community tea. After complaining to our waiter multiple times, they finally decided to tell us that the kitchen was backed up and that they were short on cooks. I have no clue why they did not mention this when we first arrived. If we would've known this, we would've tried a different place in the area. The food was decent but not the best I've had far as this type of food,, but the wait was just ridiculous. Literally worst experience. First, we were told it would be a 30 minute wait. We knew it was a Saturday and it's busy everywhere so we didn't mind but after 90 mins, we were over it and willing to leave. They then came out to say our table was ready. We sat down, we placed our orders right away because 80% of our group had to catch a flight and we still wanted to check out the area...we waited another hour for breakfast food...literally eggs, bread, fruit etc. we arrived and placed our reservations at 11:45am and didn't get to eat anything till 2:30pm. Our bill for two people with only waters was $72. The food was trash and the portions were for a child. The sausage was so dry, the bread was stale/dry, the biscuit was so so dry (luckily the gravy helped get it down). The cheese wasn't even melted on what was supposed to be hot eggs, the potatoes were soggy and lukewarm. Actually, my entire place was lukewarm tbh but I was so hungry by that time that I didn't even care. Why anyone says they like this place is beyond me. Our entire group, legitimately all disliked it for various reasons. This type of restaurant or environment is not for everyone. The waiter was kind but slow. The kitchen was even slower. We are very patient people, as you can tell by the amount of time we were willing to wait but there's nothing special about the food and not something I'd recommend to anyone. read more

Sigh I try to support wherever I can but I wish my experience was superb. Now I will start by saying the food is good but other things attribute to the experience. The wait was 45 min which is fine especially when you have a group of friends that are chatty. When the wait was over we sat in a four seater table. Our server came over within 5 minutes, took our orders and we only seen him when we pulled him in to ask for things such as silverware or extra cups. It was one moment he talked to us and in the midst of helping us he walked away to assist another table without saying anything. When our food did arrive we never had a check in to see what the food taste like. I will say the fish was a little seasoned for my taste but overall good. The meal was paid for and I left the highest percentage tip because I know what it's like working in hospitality. We just didn't feel like it was hospitable. This was my first time in town for the Cowboys game. I was looking for some good breakfast. I came across Breakfast Brothers. The food was so delicious that I came back twice. Q was my waiter on Saturday and I forgot the nice lady name on Sunday. The wait was a little long which is very understandable because they just open and this was their first game day crowd. Like any new restaurant there will be a few hiccups. Being patient and pleasant goes a long way. I wish I live in town because will be my go to breakfast spot for sure. read more
