We were nearby and craving some Tex-Mex, so we decided to stop here and it was a great choice! The ambiance was really nice, and they have a great outdoor seating area. The restaurant was clean, and the staff was friendly and welcoming. I also liked that they were playing Mexican music because it really fit the vibe and atmosphere of the place. Located at the corner of Mesquite Street and Front St, you'll have to look for parking along Front St; there's a few places in the rear. Plenty of seating inside and out; bright lighting, simple decor with polished concrete floors. Ingrid was our server; she was friendly and efficient; anticipating our needs. All of the staff seemed happy to be there. The chips were crispy and perfectly seasoned! The salsa was tasty; not too spicy. We split the appetizer sampler, which was plenty for two people. They had only been open 4 months when I visited. I had a cocktail and brisket tacos that were decent. Chips and salsa at the table were good. The restaurant kind of felt like a hallway with furniture in it, not particularly impressive. For the price, I probably won't be back. I recently visited this restaurant for my sister's birthday dinner. I called ahead for reservations a few days before since we had a large party and the process was very easy. We tried this as a to-go order. The positives are that the food was good enough that we are willing to give it another try, dining in only. We ordered for curbside pickup but there aren't any curbside pickup parking spaces (???). We ordered guacamole. We specifically asked if there were chips in the bag. They assured us that they were. I have only been here twice but each time was great. The interior design is spacious and and comfortable. The service was excellent and the food is so yummy. I have gotten the sour cream enchiladas, chimichanga, and the pecan pie on separate visits. Everything was delicious especially the sour cream they use for the enchiladas. If you do go please get the pecan pie, they have a special way of presenting it that brings it up several notches. They serve is on a hot plate with chocolate sauce and vanilla ice cream. read more

Stopped in on a Saturday night for dinner and had an amazing experience. First off the svc was amazing... the ambiance is just what I expect from a Mexican/ Tex mex restaurant... Latin music playing and great margaritas. The svc was amazing, he was very helpful when I explained it was our first time there. My husband had the redfish tacos and I had half order of beef fajitas nachos. It was all well made! Now drinks, husband had an old fashioned and I had the margaritas (top shelf). Gone back a couple of times and it still just amazes me that I think they're afraid to use jalapeños or any other pepper on their food. We came here before a concert at the Arlington Music Hall and we were pleasantly surprised. Even though there were many people there, it still gives off a calm, relaxed vibe. I love that they offer half and full size options. My husband got the flautas and I got the chicken fajita nachos and they were delicious. Our waiter David was very knowledgeable about the wine list and the cocktails. I would definitely recommend this if you're in the mood for Mexican food, the service was good. Environment and location were good. Menu had options that all looked good. Fish tacos had little fish, which I could over look and it had any seasoning or even a salsa on it. Same with the shrimp tacos. Shrimp and slaw had no seasoning. Unfortunately this place is gonna need to do a lot better in the kitchen to stick around. The service was very good. The food was kind of bland. The salsa had a nice bite if you like spicy. The Tomatillos sauce has an exceptionally strong bite. The serving size was decent, but I was disappointed in the food taste. I had a beef chimichanga and it tasted more like a bean and beef burrito from Taco Bell which I would have preferred.
