One of the dark romantic booths with a jukebox!! Add some good food for a romantic evening.

Good simple steaks with different sides. They the Club Steak, The Mexican Steak, and The Italian Steak. All the same except for the sides. They also offer TexMex and other types of foods. Just basic food! All good!!

    Coldest beer in town.

It was time for our Candlelite fix, it had been a while since we had dined at one of our favorite restaurants. We had finished up some errands in Arlington and we were hungry. One of the best things we LOVE about Candlelite is their huge menu that has all sorts of delectable entrees. Also, another one of the main draws is their COLD frozen mugs of beer and the addictive guacamole dip. It's the first thing I dig into after getting seated and ordering schoolers of beer. This evening, my wife decided to order the crispy chicken sandwich and fries. I opted for the Mexican steak, a rare top sirloin, refried beans, and rice. I've been ordering it for decades. Our server took very good care of us while we were there. The beer was cold, the guac was awesome and our entrees were delicious. My wife mentioned her crispy chicken sandwich was one of the best she'd had in a long time. She said she'd definitely order it again. My sirloin was cooked to perfection rare. Candlelite never lets us down, we love dining at Candlelite.

    Italian steak, mmm mmm good

My favorite there is the Italian steak. The service is always wonderful. The beer is nice and cold and you just can't beat that nice little steak.

My boyfriend and I had the greatest experience at Candlelite for our anniversary! We have the most WONDERFUL waiter named Sam who was so friendly and even offered to take a photos of us. The food came out DELICIOUS and was so filling. The vibes are so intimate and calm and a GREAT place to celebrate anniversaries. I would talk about the cost, but, my boyfriend didn't let me near the check. Absolutely give this place a chance and ASK FOR SAM!!!!

Love this place. My family has been coming here since I was in a high chair. My sister and I still go every chance we get. Had the nicest time today thanks to Wanda. Great staff, great food! Cute little booth with private jukebox playing!

Mushroom Swiss burger and onion rings

So heard about this place from some of my co-workers. They said the food was really good. Decided to try ot out because a BBQ joint we went to was running out of BBQ when we arrived. Walked into the location and it's nice but very dim inside. Waiter came by and took my co-workers order and my order. Co-worker ordered the surf and turf which is steak and shrimp and I ordered the mushrooms burger with onion rings. I was hesitant about the onion rings because I hate the batter dipped ones I like the crunchy ones but ordered them anyways. Ordered my burger medium well and Co worker order his steak medium. Here is where it takes a turn for the not so good. It took forever to get food and there wasn't alot of people. When we finally got the food my burger was well done and co-workers steak was on the well done side no pink. Wasn't gonna send it back because we had been waiting for a while so it would have taken that much longer. On the plus side the burger tasted very good enough for it being pretty dry, bun was tasty and the burger reminded me of when I was a kid in the military bases and would go to the chow hall and get burgers loved them. Brought back memories of when my dad was station on the bases. Onion rings were great crunch and warm Steak 3 outa 10 just on the fact that it was well done Shrimps ? Outa 10 didn't taste them Burger 4 outa 10 again due to well done Onion rings 5 outa 10 Location is more a 2 1/2 for me but it won't let me put half stars. This is def not the place to come on a lunch break you might maybe call ahead.

We waited and after 40+ min we asked the waitress at the register how much time was left, it seems like based on their system she had us waiting an extra 11min because they forgot to text us letting us know our table was available. Additionally we really wanted to order the burger, since that was the main reason we came in for and once seated we didn't see the burger on the menu item so we inquired with our server (really nice by the way) and she stated this was only a menu item for the bar and we were unable to order this if we were seated inside the restaurant. A bit odd, if the restaurant has this item it should be available regardless of where you are seated. We settled for a pizza instead that was tasty. When it was delivered we asked again if there was anyway we could add the burger and the waiter said he would send someone to speak to us about it. After this no one came to speak to us to confirm it would be possible and when the time came around to ask for the check our waitress asked if we weren't going to wait for our burger?? They really need to make a uniform menu or add disclaimers that certain items are not included in their restaurant vs bar menus

We made reservations but I think because we went on a Wednesday evening, it wasn't super necessary. Our waiter was nice, attentive. The place itself is big and very open and has a sophisticated feel to it that is still welcoming. Our waiter was extremely nice and he even made sure to take our order before the large party which was thoughtful. When you sat down everyone got a cup of ice water which they filled regularly. We ordered Arancini for an appetizer which came out quickly. It tasted amazing and the outside had a nice crunch while the inside was soft. The bread and olive oil was good too, the bread was warm and cut into small pieces which made it easier to dip. The oil also had balsamic vinger which really enhanced the flavor. For mains I got Mushroom Garlic Alfredo, it was not heavy on the garlic flavor at all. The mushrooms were amazing and there were plenty of them. The pasta tasted light and not like I was eating a lot of it, the sauce was also very creamy. For size I ate about half and brought the rest home. It also came with garlic bread which I took a bite of and was good, but I wanted room to eat the pasta. Overall, this place was fantastic and I 100% recommend it. The prices are very reasonable for what you get and service is also great. I loved my pasta and the the Arancini and so did everyone else at my table.

Fortunately, it's only a short 10-minute drive from home. Moni's has a wonderful vibe of a local neighborhood restaurant. It's not fancy, which wouldn't fit it, but comfortable to just sit and enjoy a great meal with friends or family. They do have a couple of private rooms. , Moni's is much like the "Cheers" bar on TV. They have a very loyal clientele. Moni and his wife Amy, know everyone who comes in. If they don't know you, they'll get to know you very quickly. After being seated by Amy and, of course, chatting to find out what's been going on, our server, AJ, also welcomed us to Moni's and took our drink orders. Moni's is BYOB; you'll see many of their patrons bringing wine to accompany their dinners. My wife and I ordered a couple of iced teas and a bowl of their seasoned dipping sauce. I love dipping Moni's freshly baked rolls in it. It's "rich" with lots of chopped fresh garlic. Yummy! My wife ordered her "regular" Chicken Parmesan, her favorite. Sometimes she orders the lasagna, but today was a Chicken Parm day. I decided to order the Pasta Combo, which includes Lasagna, Stuffed Shells, and a Manicotti in our delicious homemade marinara sauce, topped with mozzarella cheese. It included three of my baked favorites. Shortly, fresh-baked rolls and butter, along with the olive oil dipping sauce and our salads topped with Moni's famous red Italian Dressings. I love Moni's salads, which are normally served on chilled plates. You'll find the restaurant's dressing at many other restaurants that Moni has helped to get started. Amy and Moni have very big hearts. Just as we were finishing our salads, deliciousness arrived at our table. Note, come hungry, there's a lot of doggie bags requested when patrons can't finish their entrees. My wife and I have to watch ourselves so we don't eat too much bread. It's hard to resist those fresh-baked rolls. Our two entrees were SO delicious, just like you'd expect from your family kitchen. Thank you, AJ, Moni, and Amy, for an enjoyable, relaxing visit. We'll see all again very soon.

I asked if it could be cooked a little longer. The server said it would take about five minutes, but when the dish came back, the texture was exactly the same. It didn't seem like anything had been changed. What made the experience even more disappointing was the service. The server never came back to check if the recooked dish was satisfactory.
