This place was an absolute fail from the start. To be a fair we did go on christmas day so added two stars for that. Service: we waited twenty minutes before we both got up and went to find service after being sat. The servers came and went all around us. And no one created us or said hi or gave us anything to drink at this point, the children were getting very antsy, and we were about ready to leave, but we had very few options that we had to stick with what we had... We did ask to swap out fries for the puree for my steam sandwich and he had to go back. Food: I ordered a steak sandwich, and i'm pretty sure it was maybe three ounces of eight total, as it only took off about a fourth of eight brad roll that it was on. My dad had a chicken sandwich, and it was fair at best and the kids barely touched their food. There was a very pretty location however, it was a pretty off day and they did nothing to try to make up for it or even apologize that we waited twenty minutes or mistakes. While visiting Fort Worth, TX earlier this month I had a chance to dine at our hotel's fine dining restaurant, Cut and Bourbon. It has an upscale but chill vibe. Servers were making rounds non-stop solely to refill water glasses at every table. We were seated immediately and quickly noticed the variation of prices on the menu. Oh, so this is a top-tier restaurant with the prices to match. Got it. Fortunately there were a couple of affordable options. Lauren was our waitress. She asked each of us for our first names and proceeded to call us by our first names the entire time. Very nice touch. We tried the jalapeño bread appetizer first. Good thing we did, because it was huge and filling, and we had no idea the wait was about to be on the verge of "completely ridiculous." Lauren continuously checked in and apologized for the wait, and the water-fillers stopped by a dozen times. Our additional appetizers arrived, and they were small as expected but delicious. Finally, our food made its way to our table. We loved, not liked, but loved ALL of the food. The mashed potatoes were easily the best I have ever tasted anywhere, ever. Between that and the steak flight, I almost forgot about the crazy-long wait. Almost, but not quite. This was our first time in Arlington and Live! The ambiance and decor was phenomenal - modern and refreshing. Hubs made his own omelette which he gobbled up. They use cage free eggs. My son and I each had the French toast on brioche bread, or should I say Bree-Ohhh Sh*t that's YUGE bread lol The raspberry sauce made for an amazing topping especially with the chantilly cream. He added chocolate chips instead of fruit for $2 upcharge. It was worth it. Service was impeccable as well. They took good care of us here. One of the many appetizers that dazzled me were the scallops. I didn't want to share these perfectly cooked giant nuggets of seafood deliciousness w/a hint of fennel. The bread w/olives & figs was perfectly balanced w/sweet & salty; the steak fries were perfectly cooked w/just the right amount of crispiness; the mushrooms were perfectly sautéed in a savory lite sauce; charred Brussel's sprouts were good but a bit too charred for me-everyone else loved them; my ribeye was cooked to a perfect medium and came w/chimichuri sauce (wee bit too thin & oily), and wilted (instead of creamed) spinach. This restaurant is located inside of the Loew's hotel. You're able to either valet, which is validated for 2 hours, or park in the Texas Live parking lot and walk over. The host was friendly when we checked in, and we were able to be seated when the majority of our party arrived. Our waiter came to our table right away, served us water, and took our orders. The inside of this restaurant is dimly lit, with most tables having a view of the kitchen, with a swanky and upscale ambiance. We placed orders for both entrees and appetizers. Our food took soooo long to come out, I started to get hangry. We had to flag down a random employee to talk to a manager, who informed us that they were a little backed up for the evening. The manager didn't really offer us anything, but if we asked if we could get some bread to hold us over until our food came out, he did provide that on the house. I would have loved if the manager had offered us an item without being prompted. With that being said, each and every person in our party enjoyed their food, even if it is a bit overpriced. I highly recommend the lamb chops. It was cooked and seasoned very well. The food was of the highest quality, and I would definitely recommend not skipping dessert. Located inside the beautiful Live! By Loews Arlington hotel, Cut & Bourbon is an amazing fixture in the Arlington food scene. The vibe of Cut & Bourbon is elevated, yet relatable with a mix of casual and fancy. What you get out of this space is what you bring to it. We happened to be at the hotel on a business trip, so we decided to pop in for dinner one evening with one goal...leave fat and happy. I am proud to say we achieved our goal tenfold! The menu is upscale Americana with a focus on meat; steak to be exact. There are a few chicken and fish dishes, but the main point of the menu is the steak, and for good reason! While the menu is not set up to be "tapas style", we decided to challenge ourselves and order a plethora of items covering all three courses. We started with Oysters Rockefeller, Bacon Slab, Steak Tartare and the Burrata. Once we finished these we tossed in a few Steak orders alongside the Seafood Scampi sided with the Macaroni and Cheese, Mushrooms and Brussel sprouts. At this point, we were about to pop, but couldn't pass up the opportunity to experience the Carrot Cake to round out our meal! While everything was delicious, a few stand outs were the oysters, slab bacon, brussels, and of course the Delmonico steak. The oysters were baked to perfection and topped with just enough seasoned bread crumbs, while the slab bacon was beyond delicious! The bacon was cut into thick chunks with equal fat and meat, lightly salted and covered in a wine jus that set it off! The steak, while cliché, cut like butter and tasted like heaven! We got a trio of sauces, and the béarnaise was the winner for me! Now, for the piece de resistance of our meal, the Carrot Cake Stack, which is a massive piece of Carrot Cake that features a maple cream cheese glaze, candied pecans, preserved cranberries...and 13 layers! It was delectable, delightful and delicious! Service was absolutely stellar here as well. Our server and his peers were fantastic, friendly, knowledgeable and helpful from the moment we sat to the moment we left. Overall, I have eaten at a lot of hotel restaurants, and I must say that Cut & Bourbon is top tier and easily top 3 for me! read more

This was our first time dining here. The menu is a bit pricey!!. They have a beautiful, spacious patio too that provides great views of the water features and the Death Star. The staff is very friendly, from the host staff, servers, and the managers. The staff seems to genuinely care, which is uncommon in many restaurants these days. They are always extremely accommodating, and they go out of their way to ensure that you enjoy your experience. Our steak was perfectly cooked. The fries were a delight. The Brussels sprouts were very nicely flavored and a bit crispy on the outside. The carrot cake afterwards was a slice of heaven. Went to Cut & Bourbon for Easter Sunday Brunch based on the good reviews for their regular menu and service. Their Easter brunch was a fail. Service was not attentive for an expensive brunch. We had to seek out the wait staff several times to have drinks refilled, salt and pepper, etc. The 2 stars are for the effort that the food team tried and the ambiance of the restaurant. The buffet was not displayed in an appealing way or in a way that made sense from a match up of foods that went together. The space around the buffet line was way too tight as we felt that we had to carefully move around tables that were place too close to the buffet. The quality of the food was lack luster at best. The eggs benefit was on a bread at the bottom that was so hard from either being stale or being served improperly we couldn't even cut it. The presentation of the desserts was just sad and seemed an after thought. When we went through the buffet line there was food spilled all along the counter and missing utensils as in it hadn't been given any attention since they opened. The carving station wasn't impressive either as there was a small maybe pound portion of lamb and ham placed there for the team to carve from. Based on the poor service, bad presentation and poor quality of food I would've recommend this restaurant to anyone. read more

The side portions are large enough for four people. I had just the brussel sprouts and the portion was perfect, they had bacon and a sweet sauce. So tasty. My husband had the ribeye. No sides included, $76. Caesar salad was average side for $14. We also had the churro dessert which was amazing. We will definitely be back in a few weeks. Located in the Live by Loews Hotel. Ambiance was nice and open had a Scandinavian furniture decor vibe. The Menu is very pricey and predominantly red meat because It's a steakhouse. I had to ask if there were any specials? As for the food. The mixed greens salad was mediocre. For my entree I order the half chicken. To manage your expectations the portion was plenty for my appetite however if you're hungry the chicken is on the small side. The upside- Nice crispy skin and moist. It was cooked to perfection however it was bland. Pan roasted with some herbs would've been nice. The small side of sauce..or did they describe it as gravy? Well it was as flavorless as the chicken. Instead of the chicken it seemed more appropriate for the mashed potatoes. The veggies that came with were two carrots. For the price of the entree I expected more than two. I ordered dessert hoping it would salvage a boring very overpriced meal...nope! I had the 12 layer carrot cake which was dry because of the thin layers of cake and the thick in consistency, unbalanced icing in between. Even with the sauce they poured on top did not help. First time here on our anniversary. No reservation, just walked in around opening time (5pm) on a Friday! It was perfect, no wait, no crowds. Great views! We decided to dine here for our wedding anniversary and it DID NOT disappoint. We haven't been here since 2020 and it wasn't the best experience the last time. The dining area has a great view of AT&T Stadium and has a modern feel. Our server, Dominick, was the best and didn't pester us or make us feel rushed. He also threw in a few extras to make us feel special for our anniversary. All of the starters were spectacular including the cranberry walnut bread that was served with a savory herb butter. Both the tuna and steak tartare were fresh with each offering a unique taste. Our steaks were perfectly charred and medium and the sides were pretty good as well. The crispy brussels were just ok and could have used some kind of glaze or sauce but they weren't bad. The macaroni was creamy and not too dry like I've experienced at other restaurants of this caliber. The 10 Layer carrot cake stack was spectacular and not too sweet with the perfect amount of spice. Whew! Where do I begin? I planned a Birthday dinner for my daughter with 10 friends and family and she made us miss our reservation because she is literally as slow as molasses. I was angry and ready to turn around and drive back to Weatherford but the hostess was so sweet and encouraged me to just push the reservation back and not cancel. Coby was being pulled every way but loose and still managed to be funny and entertaining through all the customers demanding his attention. While I was having a bourbon at the bar Austin came up and introduced himself and let me know he would be my server once we were seated. When my party arrived we were seated and ordered our apps and some cocktails. Service was top tier from start to finish. The entire staff was amazing. From front to back. The GM or Manager (not clear on his title) Brandon was so friendly. Constantly checking in with us and other guest. Making his way around the restaurant making sure things were running smoothly. The hostess Kennedy was so polite with a beautiful smile. Exactly what you want to see when you're being greeted. 1st impressions are important. The Chef came out to greet us and ask what we thought of the meal. Everything was exceptional and I would return over and over if not for the food for the way the staff made me feel. We had not made a reservation so we tried to walk in. They were not taking walk ins. So, we went and sat down at the bar. They have a food menu but not the big menu for the restaurant. We decided to leave, and the bartender (sweet sweet pregnant lady), I'm sorry I didn't get her name, asked us why we were leaving and we told her we wanted the full menu. Now I did look at pictures/ reviews before coming (who doesn't) and I wasn't really sold by the pictures but because it was the only "steakhouse" in the area, we decided to give it a try. We weren't really that impressed with the food to be honest. We ordered Delmonico (medium rare) and the branzino. The steak wasn't really cooked well.
