We each had an appetizer... steak bites... & cheesy potatoes.... They were busy but took good care of us... seated us right away... took our order and it came out very quickly... We walked over from our hotel... so no parking needed....

In my opinion my experience at Saltgrass Arlington South did not live up to Landry's quality. The server made mistakes on multiple orders at my table, and service was unsatisfactory. This is not what I expected and will likely not return. We were rushed to order and service was slow. We were never checked on throughout the meal, and the certain menu items were not available but wasn't made aware at time of ordering, yet 20 mins later. I understand the rush of a Saturday night but this was unacceptable.

The waiter was awesome he suggested a steak that was only prepared on Friday and sat and it was delicious however I had to send the first plate back because hair was on the plate now the manager apologized I still ordered and tipped well However at the end when my check came I saw the manager staring as if I was wanting something taken off the bill but me being in my soft era did not complain and had an awesome time but after thought he should have comped a drink or something I couldn't finish the meal after having to wait but overall it was a good he need to do better I wish I had names but they know

A pretty nice establishment ! Has dinner with a friend and here's everything we had : 1) quail bacon appetizer - very good ! Juicy and meaty and the accompanying Brussels sprouts. Were excellent (4.1/5) 2) pork ribs - a full slab which was cooked to perfection ! Meat was soft and juicy ,not too much fat (4.1/5) 3) also had a ceaser salad which was fresh and plentiful (3.8/5) I also had an old fashioned which was ok (a little too sweet for my taste ) All in all it was a good dinner and the place is recommended

Hadn't eaten here for several years so I was in a Steak and decided to visit. I went with their Wagon Boss Sirloin. It's still good after all these years. Nothing fancy just a good basic Top Sirloin. I chose the Ceasar Salad and Garlic Mashed Potatoes. Everything hit the spot! Good service.

The potatoes were typical breakfast potatoes but they were good. For my birthday they let me choose any dessert and the limoncello cake was absolutely perfect. Lemony and tart with creamy frosting, I would go back just for that!! I definitely recommend this place for brunch!

I don't live in Arlington and just recently moved from Dallas to Ft Worth. While looking at properties in Arlington for the day, this looked like a great stop. The reviews were mostly strong and the pictures I could see reminded me of my favorite Dallas steak fix, Bob's Chophouse on Lemmon. It doesn't have that vintage, chic atmosphere sadly, but it is old TX, steakhouse, 80's style. Colby asked if we wanted a menu and I said yes. He brought one for us both. I asked if they had any happy hour specials which is mentioned often in their reviews. He haughtily informed me that, "They don't do happy hour" and then giggled. Yes, giggled, the only other description is snickered. We ordered a Tito's Dirty Martini and Guinness and decided to stay anyway. He served my martini slushee and a good pour on the Guinness. He simply never came back. Everyone else had nuts and their orders taken. He avoided us as if we had the Bubonic plague. After his pointed non-service, I dropped my credit card, he snatched it and dropped the check. Obviously, I won't be back but I think that was the entire point of his service.

They were about full when we arrived. Not so much when we left. While I thought there was a game tonight - it's the Eagles in concert at one of the nearby stadiums. Because it was packed when we arrived, the space was fairly loud. Cheyenne was our server and she did great. She knew the menu well and made some suggestions. We had already read the Yelp reviews and sort of knew what we wanted. Two of us shared: - Margarita rocks - Pan con Tomate - Crispy Pork - Jerk Chicken Paella The Pan con Tomate was amazing. Really cool presentation too. The Crispy Pork was real nice. A bit dry due to making it crispy. Really meaty too. The Jerk Chicken Paella was great. Cheyenne told us the jerk seasoning wasn't very spicy. She was right. I would have liked it spicier though but understand the decision to appeal to a broader section of diners. The socarrat was amazing. They make the paella in a small (8"?) cast iron skillet. It made for a perfect caramelization of the rice (socarrat). The dish had jerk seasoned chicken thighs and vegetables. Yum! I would have loved to have the Coconut Cake. But we were full and it was $22. We'll come back to Cafe Americana and try other dishes and the cake!

First of all the space is very pretty and cozy. The dining room is long and narrow but didn't feel cramped at all. Or server JoJo was with us quickly and was beyond charming. She immediately gave recommendations for each area in the menu and when we were ordering drinks she even suggested different things based on our initial preference. For example, one of my friends asked about a whiskey sour and she recommended one of their pisco drinks instead and it was delicious! We got the yucca, dates, and lamb skewers as appetizers and didn't have a single crumb behind. Well balanced flavor with unique touches that we all appreciated. For entrees two of us ordered the lomo saltado which came out fairly quickly. Unfortunately, they had sold out of the duck when my bf asked for it so they brought him a drink on the house to make up for it. He changed his order to the salmon and loved it. I ordered the paella and sadly that did take waaay too long to come out. By the time they finally brought it to me everyone else was done eating so I just asked for a to-go box. The server did apologize and brought me a drink on the house but it would've been nice to know ahead of time that the dish would take so long to prepare, because I would've chosen something else so I could eat with everyone. All in all it was great and I'll definitely come back. Hopefully I make it in before the duck is sold out next time!
