The nachos were massive--easily enough to share with four people--and they were loaded with plenty of toppings, not skimpy at all. The shrimp tacos came out hot and fresh with just the right amount of spice, making them really enjoyable. Our waitress was attentive and kept checking in without being overbearing. While the drinks from the bar were served in plastic cups, they were still delicious. My espresso martini was especially well balanced and smooth. Rangers Republic is located inside Texas Live offering great drink specials, food and an amazing happy hour before you watch the big game right next door! Every time I visit the ballpark, I always drop by to snag some of their happy hour specials before entering Globe Life Field. I find the drink specials and happy hour menu very good and unbeatable! They have drink specials on domestic drafts, well cocktails, and red or white wine. They also have food specials on chicken wings, fries, and loaded nachos. I have eaten all 3 and they were good and delightful. My personal favorite were the loaded nachos with queso cheese and veggies piled high laying beneath a bed of crispy chips. They offer BBQ or buffalo for the chicken wings, and I so happened to choose the buffalo flavor, they were okay and a tad bit soggy where the crispiness wasn't all there but still had a nice flavor. The sweet bay fries were crinkle cut fries with old bay seasoning dashed on them and a side of cheese sauce to compliment them. Overall, Rangers Republic is the place to be during game nights where you can snag some of the best deals on food and drinks before heading over to the ballpark. The bartenders and staff always provide exceptional service and do a great job servicing the patrons to the best of their ability. Rangers Republic was just okay. I went with a big group after the American Rodeo for some food and drinks. We were all just content with our food and drinks were good. Our waitress was very nice and accommodating to the big group and the ambiance was nice too. One thing I DONT recommend are the shakes... sooo disappointing. Tasted literally like 2% milk. The restaurant is inside of Texas Live! which is a sports bar/entertainment center that has multiple restaurants, multiple bars and giant TVs all around. The place is huge on the inside, very lively and fun. Our waitress was awesome and helpful. She made a couple of great suggestions. The best one being the Mashed Potato Flautas. I definitely recommend those. Crispy on the outside, flavorful and soft on the inside. The mahi tacos were just okay. I feel like the shell and the toppings overpowered the fish. Attended MimosaFest, Rangers Republic was one of the few restaurants open during this event - which I appreciated. However RR seemed to lack the staff to handle dining during event. Food could only be ordered on one side of the restaurant, we sat for a while waiting to be greeted not being made aware of that. Finally I checked with a bartender and was told I'd have to find seating on the other side to order food. Moved to that side, waited another 15 + mins to get attention of waitress. The staff we saw were noticeably agitated & overwhelmed --- never were they rude though, so I do give credit there! Finally order food, again the wait takes a while. Food comes 2/3 entrees were cold. Not our waitresses fault but we made her aware, she offered to have the meals recooked. We politely declined. Bar area- again nice staff. We were there for mimosa fest so we tried whichever mimosa they were featuring not a mixed cocktail/beer. So can't weigh in on other drinks but the mimosa was good. read more

We waited around 10 minutes at the bar before even seeing anyone who resembled waitstaff... the first two waiters we waved down signaled to us that they'd be back but never came. At this point the table near us told us they had been waiting forever too and they were losing hope. Finally we literally ran after the next waiter we saw and he helped us! The food came out fast, but it was too fast... the SALSA ON THE SIDE WAS FROZEN... We ordered brisket tacos and shrimp tacos. The brisket tacos tasted like they came out of a bag and were smothered in spicy BBQ sauce... the shrimp tacos tasted like a napkin - which at least balanced out the brisket tacos. The cocktails were OK... we asked for water 3 times and never received it... I'm the end, we regretted coming. Next time we will go to the Mexican dive spot nearby instead. read more

There are two dressing options but I was given the vinaigrette. No complaints since this was my preference, despite not being asked for other options. The service took some time, but it was also spring break and they were short staffed. The staff was friendly and I could tell they were trying their best. Some of my colleagues said their fountain drinks did not taste right even after making a comment and receiving new drinks. The atmosphere feels like an open sports bar with lots of spacing and televisions. I would probably come back since the other restaurants were closed or not open for dinner. Went to the Texas Rangers World Series Victory Parade at Globe Life Field yesterday and the crowd was double to triple the amount of people estimated. It was amazing but the businesses there were slammed. Rangers Republic is one of my favorite restaurants there and the place was packed all day long. They had 3 bars going in overdrive and even then struggled to keep up with the sheer number of people, But I want to give them and their sister establishment, Sports and Social, kudos for their continued work ethic all day. They never stopped serving, they kept a process going to make sure people got their drinks as quick as humanly possible and always made correctly. Neither my wife, myself, or my friends ever had a complaint about a drink we received. I've never had a bad meal, a bad drink, a bad server/bartender, or a bad time. It's a great place to eat, drink, relax and watch sports. read more

We met up with some friends here the night before the Big 12 Championship game. It's an awesome bar/restaurant. It's part of Texas Live We sat at the bar for awhile and had drinks. The bartender was awesome. We chatted with him off and on for a long time. When we were ready to eat they found a table that held all of us. The food was really good. We all really liked what we got. They had a live band playing in the next room. They were so good we thought it was a recording of the original band until we saw them up on one of the TVs. They did songs from several famous bands and they all sounded like the original bands. They were worth the drive by themselves. Overall, it was a great nice with a wonderful atmosphere. They have TVs all over the place and had several different football games on. If we are in that area again we would go back. read more
