Thank you, Kendall and The Landing, for this wonderful event! The parking wasn't as frustrating; there's a garage that's close and was worth using rather than hunting down a parking space. We weren't sure where the restaurant was, and thankfully someone pointed us in the right direction. When we first walked in, it was great to see our Yelp family. Once we got settled and checked in, we were pointed in the direction of the additional seating. Once we claimed our seats, we headed back to the bar to get our drinks. The Landing: It was very warm. I thought it was warm due to the sun shining through the window, but when it went down, the temperature never changed. Throughout the whole night, people were fanning themselves and using handheld fans. Even some of the employees were sweating, too. If I weren't there for the event, I would have left. The heat made things really uncomfortable. The bar: Considering we were there for an event, they didn't seem to be organized. They didn't have a uniform way of managing their regular Friday night crowd, and those of us who were with the event. After waiting for at least 15 minutes, we were finally tended to. Also, one of our drink selections was a frozen margarita, they were out within 20 minutes of the event starting. Then, we found out everything was premade; sure thing. The food: We had an assortment of foods to try, most of us had plates that were overflowing due to the size (a bread plate). A tasting plate is one thing, but for the amount of food we were served, the plate size was not correct. It was a sure test for those of us who like to separate our food on our plates. The food reminded me of Radici. There were more misses than hits. Crispy Shrimp and Avocado Salad: Delicious! Smoked Brisket Footlong: I didn't know what to expect from this small bite, but it was SO good. This is something that, if I visit again, I will be more than happy to order this and to suggest it to others. The Smash Burger: This, with a different touch, would be good. There was nothing that made this burger stand out. The meat was well done, and that made it dry. Also, it doesn't exactly qualify as a smash burger. It was a cheeseburger. Possibly because we were with a group, they skipped over a few things. I don't recall tasting the toppings that are stated on the menu. Potential, indeed. From there, there was nothing notable. At least, not for me. Their chicken wings were a bit bland (Chinese Salt & Pepper); those are bold flavors they described on their menu, but these wings did not hit the mark. The brisket was also bland, and I feel like the brisket needed to be paired with something else. It isn't the star of the meal. My comment about Radici was about the taste and how dishes that have "strong flavors" are bland. As someone stated in their review, The Landing has so much potential. I'd love to see them succeed beyond being just a local pub; the ideas are there, but the execution needs more work. Overall, it was a great evening with our Yelp family, and that is what I enjoyed most.

Lovely experience watching the game and lounging with friends! Their happy hour prices were great and I noticed they had a stage for live music. I will be coming back to experience that soon. Overall the food was great and I really enjoyed their wings.

First I want to thank Kendall for a great event and the Landing for hosting us. Overall I enjoyed my experience. Huge parking lot, but lots of restaurants to accommodate including a hotel. I did appreciate the cross walk through the parking lot to easily get the the bar. Staff was amazing and continued to check on us even though they were very busy. I appreciate all the food and drink that was provided. My spicy margarita was amazing and I liked my husband's classic margarita as well. Due to my diet I only ate a few things but I heard great things about the meat options. I really liked the quac, queso, and chips. I got my food after a lot of other yelpers so the plantains weren't hot any more. The deviled eggs were okay, for the price point I would expected them to be seasoned a little bit more. When looking at the menu I was surprised that the wings didn't come with fries, since you only got 6 wings for $17. Also would have liked a few more veggie only options. Loved all the TVs, it was easy to watch the game regardless of where you sat. Also the lounge seating was very comfortable. I would like to come back when its not as busy.

The landing has not only terrific service , great and plenty seating, but their drinks are amazing and delicious. The restaurant is clean, easy to walk through and the screen to watch games is great and in the center of the room. The food was pretty solid, we had samples from the event we attended and were pretty happy with the options, a little on the salty side but good. It's also in a great location connected to many different areas, a great place to enjoy a few drinks, grab dinner and hang with friends and family.

Came for a Friday night and enjoyed the Poppi made cocktails. They were tasty and the vibe inside is chill. Great place to watch sports in an elevated atmosphere without feeling super bar like. There's a stage which means live music is a thing, so I want to return for that. I enjoyed it and the servers were attentive. I'd recommend!

I've been to The Landing a few times since it opened and really want to love it -- I'm a longtime fan of Chef Tiffany and Tom's restaurants and came in with high expectations. The good: the staff has been consistently wonderful -- friendly and attentive. The coconut margaritas are fantastic, the smash burger is solid, and the guacamole and tostones are standouts. That said, compared to other Chef Tiffany and Tom concepts, this location has fallen short for me. The location feels awkward to access, parking can be frustrating, and signage could be better. My biggest disappointment has been the menu. Compared to their other restaurants, it feels more limited and lacks some of the creativity and standout dishes I've come to expect. The new cookies were also a bit underwhelming -- not bad, just not especially memorable. I'll keep coming back for the staff and favorite menu items because there's definitely a strong foundation here. I just hope the menu evolves and the overall experience grows into the standard Chef Tiffany and Tom have set elsewhere.

Service, location and drinks were a 10/10. Overall, the food was an 8/10. The shrimp was spectacular. The brisket egg rolls were good. Our queso was cold when it came out and the mustard green dip tasted like it was missing something. I'll return. I think this was just a soft opening menu.

Tiffany Derry's new Gastro Pub just opened in Grand Prairie TX. Big TVs, good food, great cocktails.

Brand new establishment in Grand Prairie, in the Epic Central area. Terrible. We went and they were charging $25 at the door for entry. They said this will be today and tomorrow. The $25 just gets you in and still have to pay for everything. Then I was told if you want to sit in "the couch area" there is an additional cost. I feel that is so tacky. And there was absolutely no mentioning of any of this online. Please do better before another establishment bites the dust! I was a little heartbroken that I couldn't experience this, but never would I EVER pay $25 to just look at a menu. And they don't even have their sign up so look for the balloons!

A really nice spot with a great vibe and ambiance. It's an excellent place to relax, watch a sports game, or enjoy live music. They offer a variety of food options as well. I tried the lemon pepper wings, and they were very flavorful and well-prepared. While the portion size was a little small for the price, the quality and taste made them worth trying.

Chinese Salt pepper wings

Customer service is amazing, Fried Bologna sandwich is amazing, Chinese Salt and Pepper wings are amazing as well as the French fries. Only issue is fries should come with the wings. Jasmine our server was absolutely delightful. Thanks

I love how the windows brings in the natural light from the outside. It just makes the place shine without too many bright fixtures. I went to the bar to get a pineapple mimosas which was great! The bartender was really nice! They have different cocktails they can make you. And I tried the today's special for that day which was the jalapeño ranch-stack burger. It just came by itself so I added a side of fried pickles. The burger was good, I just wasn't a big fan of the pickled jalapeños or the fried pickles but I did enjoy my burger! I would definitely come back to see what else this place has to offer and try the coffee side!

The service is great, the atmosphere is cool, and now the food is amazing. I recently discovered The Ranch's secret to having me returning on a weekly basis - The Whiskey Bread Pudding. My Overall Rating - 5 Stars (Atmosphere, Service, Food, Return) Atmosphere - Country fun honkey tonk hipster with lots of business people. That sums it up. Bonus - the waiting area has very comfy couches. But if you book a table with OpenTable you don't have to wait. 1 Star. Service - The service is always great, and for the first time a different server grabbed my drink order because the other server was busy. Teamwork makes the dream work. 1 Star. Food - If you plan on visiting The Rance one time, I highly recommend the Chicken Fried Steak. Topped with a creamy jalapeno gravy, the CFS sits on a bed of green beans and is served with a side of mashed potatoes. It's a good portion, and the flavor is enhanced by the gravy. Honestly, it's just the appetizer. The real reason I keep coming back to The Ranch is the Whiskey Bread Pudding. The bread pudding is soft, warm, and topped with vanilla ice cream. Savor the warm caramel bite as the vanilla cools your mouth. Easily can be shared. 2 Stars. Will I Return? - Yes. I think it's been 3 weeks in a row now. Yes, I really like what they've done to the menu. See ya next Friday. 1 Star.

They have auto gratuity on all checks. Food was good for fried food. My husband enjoyed his daiquiri but it was really sweet. The atmosphere was not what I expected pretty loud for such a small spot, but my husband enjoyed the music. So I would put this almost as a lounge category rather than a traditional sports bar. Overall I don't think the amount of food was appropriate for the price. Especially the fact that those mozzarella sticks were $10 and only included 4 thats $2.50 a piece. It just wasn't my vibe, but it wasn't bad overall

From the beginning, our waitress had a terrible attitude. When I asked if they had non-alcoholic beer, her response was basically, "It's a bar... no." I then asked if they had juice instead of soda, and again she told me, "It's a bar, we don't have juice." That made no sense to me because bars normally carry different juices for mixed drinks. It wasn't even necessarily that they didn't have what I wanted--it was the dismissive attitude every time I asked a simple question. Then I asked about wings. She told me they only sell them in 6-piece orders, and if I wanted more, I had to order another 6-piece. I asked if they offered something like 6, 10, or 15 wings where the price per wing gets a little cheaper as you order more. She said no because their cooks have to separate every order into six pieces. The four of us own a restaurant, and we had never heard that explanation before, but okay. I also ordered nachos and politely asked her to tell the cook not to go crazy with the cheese because I only wanted a little. She told me she couldn't tell him that because she didn't want me complaining if I barely got any cheese. I specifically told her, "That's fine. I don't want that much cheese. Just please tell him a little bit of cheese." Even a simple food request somehow turned into an argument. I placed the food order around the beginning of the 5th round of the fight. The ENTIRE fight ended, and I still didn't have my food. When I finally saw her and asked for an update, instead of simply checking on it or apologizing for the wait, she told me, "You're waiting just like 30 other people." Again, completely unnecessary attitude. Then came the bill. My two items were $12 each, so I was expecting $24 plus tax. Instead, the payment reader showed $38.16. She seemed hesitant to show me the screen, and when I finally saw the charges, I noticed an additional $6 charge listed under some nickname/abbreviation I didn't recognize. I asked what it was. She repeated the name instead of explaining it, so I told her I still didn't know what that meant. She finally said it was gratuity. So now we're at $30 before tax, but somehow the total was $38.16. I knew the remaining amount wasn't simply sales tax, and by that point I was so tired of the attitude and the entire experience that I gave her $40 and left. The food finally came and was mid at best, but honestly, the food wasn't even the biggest problem. The lack of customer service and the waitress's attitude ruined the entire experience. If you're automatically adding gratuity, the least a customer should receive is decent service and a clear explanation of every charge on the bill. There are way too many places in Dallas with better food, better service, and employees who don't act irritated because a customer asks a question. I only came because my business partners wanted to watch the fight here. I normally watch boxing at home, and after this experience, that's exactly what I'll go back to doing. last time at Sportsbook in Bishop Arts.
