It took an extremely long time for our food to arrive. When it finally came out after a 30-minute wait, it was cold, and the fries were completely soggy instead of crispy. When our server noticed, she casually remarked, "Oh, they brought it out for me". We let her know the food was cold and the fries were soggy. She promised to bring out a fresh batch of fries, but within five minutes, we received another basket of fries that were shinny and wet , as if they were dropped in the grease but they were still soggy and limp. Given the sluggish service and lack of care, it is safe to say we won't be returning. Came today (Friday around noon-ish) with my family. Service wasn't too bad. We did have a server who was training and she was doing a good job. Food was ok today. My fries were cold and were literally the small pieces you get from the bottom of the bag. It is what it is. I tried the maple chipotle sauce today and wasn't too spicy but still good. Ok, the only issue I have is that I felt they had nooo clean dishes ? Like we ordered the holly macaroni and usually they bring you small plates right. Well today they brought us those red baskets. As many of you know, I'm a sucker for Pluckers. It's the type of wing spot focused on wings, sports, and drinks. And with their membership and rewards program, you accept the challenge of trying to visit every location that exists which led me to this one several weeks ago. Out of all the Pluckers I've set foot in, this one is probably the loudest. No tables were available so we walked around the bar area before snagging a few seats from a couple that just left. The bartenders immediately got us some drinks although it was hard to hear them cause of the noise. After some beers, I tried the Michelada since that was part of the challenge in the rewards program. It's quite large with a nice spicy (taijin?) rim. It definitely put me on my ass afterwards so I had to tap out and close the tab out upon finishing it. I would order it again cause it's a powerful one. The wings are alright; my friend and I each got a 5 wing snack (spicy ranch for me). Wings are good size; these were a bit crispier than most. I noticed many of the wings came out that way; maybe the people at this location like it like that? It's alright, nothing that some bleu cheese can't fix when dipped in. This place was packed for a Sunday afternoon. Service was a little unattended, but everyone seemed to help out. Boyfriend got half spicy garlic Parm and half gochujang which he really enjoyed, I got regular garlic palm and was pretty disappointed that they were not saucy at all. Went there because wanted wings and Hooters were all closed. The only positive about the visit was the service. waiter was very attentive but when I got the wings they were overdone almost crispy. I been coming to pluckers for a long time. I am a big fan of their wings and whenever I am in the area craving wings I stop by. So lets talk about food, they have an extensive selection of flavors to choose from but my favorite range from vampire killer, lemon pepper or spicy ranch. Their wings no longer come with carrots and celery and I recently asked why and they said they just dont bring them but you can pay extra to have those there but only celery. The standard size ranch it comes with is free but if you ask for the big ranch its like 50 cents, which I dont mind paying for as long as I get it. They also have spicy ketchup which i love dipping my fries to it. The size of the wings are good because if I am paying that much for wings I better get my moneys worth. I have tried other things on their menu like the philli cheesesteak and their patty melt, both are good but I really have to be in the craving for them. I never had any of their salads but I have had their appetizers. I have tried their fried pickles and those are my favorites. I have had their loaded potatoes wedges and those are good but I would not get the loaded nachos, they were just not hitting. In terms of drinks, yes! I dont think I have had a bad drink from them, the pluckers lemonade yes! the batman - lets go! the psycodelic frog - any day of the week. Redrum tea for sho. The long island tea is it! I have never been to any of their trivia or bingo nights but I just accidently (sometimes) happen to stop by when the rangers or mavericks are playing. On game day please expect to have a long wait for a table. I usually just ask to be seated at the bar and I have no wait but if you and a friend want a table check in on their app ASAP to be put on the waitlist. When to Pluckers earlier today for a late lunch. Sat @ the bar like we usually do. Jared R. ended up being our waiter. A young female that he apparently knew who moved over to the side of the bar where my husband & I were sitting came & sat one seat down from us. When Jared finally made his way over our side of the bar, he attempted to acknowledge the young lady first, totally ignoring us. I immediately waved my hands to get his attention that he needed to acknowledge us first. He clearly did not appreciate this, even though it's his job. He took our drink & food order & never said another word to us. Never asked " is everything ok, or would you like something to drink.,"He asked for my husband's card, since we were @ the bar when he took our order. He never asked the young lady for hers. He also asked her several times was everything ok, how's your food. Along with meaningless conversation with alot of profanity. Regardless if you know her or not, he could have been " shopped" & Pluckers would have a real legal issue. A female worker shortly joined him after he took our order & again not one word or additional acknowledge from them. Poor customer service. I do not need you in my face every 5 minutes, however basic customer should be a requirement. Not really busy being that it was after 1p. Employees are so nusy socializing with each other, that they forget about the customers that keep your business open where you get a pay check. We asked for a box, paid our tab & walked away. Yes, we tipped him, even though he didn't earn it. I asked for the mgr. Trayvone came up & we calmly explained everything that did & did not occur. Teayvone tried to make it right in his end & we appreciate this. However, restaurants have to do better with your staff. It appears this is a common issue with Pluckers from other reviews. Inattentive waiters. We have been reward members for years & we eat @ different restaurants from Pluckers to high end. There are too many places to eat. Went to have dinner on Wednesday evening! If you're a Pluckers club member you get a meal free on that night which we did! I ordered the cheech and chong sandwich which was very good! Our last food stop in Texas before heading back to CA! Super fun chicken wing joint with so many delicious flavors and junky fast food options (my god look at all the fried goods on their menu!). Service was friendly and we were seated immediately. Quite a large restaurant and they have many TV's going on with sports or trivia and such (though surprisingly not super overwhelming). Thought it was SUPER funny that the restroom signs are Cocks and Chicks haha. Our table shared a 10 piece wing order of the Vampire Killer and Lemon Pepper rub. Lemon Pepper was solid. Vampire Killer did have a heat to it but not as garlicky as I would have liked for something meant to murder the undead. Some of the wings had moist meat the others were a tad dry. Overall not bad.
