Cidercade Arlington is hands down the best experience I've had at an arcade! This location is much bigger than the Dallas location and has a wider variety of games including the vintage arcade cabinets, pinball machines, a game floor that's similar to Activate games, ping pong, billiards, and various rhythm games! My wife and I spent 5 hours easily here and didn't get bored! We also tried a couple of ciders and they were great. The workers let us sample a couple of different ciders so that we could make sure that we liked the one we ordered! I'm absolutely coming back!! read more

Clean, family oriented, nostalgic. Like Tilt from 30 years ago, only all you can play. But that's the issue: the arcade cabinets are multiple decades old. Out of the twenty some odd games we got to tonight, nearly half had bad buttons or something faulty with them. The place runs off old machines that are close to unfixable. Cool atmosphere, plenty to play from claw machines to pinball, but it's a gamble if something's going to work. I had their Nectar cider (honey + apples) on my visit, not bad. One 20 oz. drink costs as much as a six pack. Ouch. You're paying for the experience. I recommend coming after 9 if you're having a date night because it's an arcade and therefore a teen hangout. Parking was also challenging on a Saturday night, but the lots don't charge. This place is also all digital, so don't bother with bringing cash. Not much to say on service. You've got greeters, bar hands, and the occasional restroom cleaner or host behind the claw machine booth. Find a way to fix the Michael Jackson Moonwalker cabinet, or Alien: Covenant shooter, we're looking at a 4+. read more

I have been here in the past and I have visited other locations and they are all pretty much the same. You come in and pay one flat fee with unlimited play at the location. They offer food and drinks you can purchase. Usually after 7pm they have a "21 years and older only" so you are not stuck waiting for a game where a bunch of teens are hording. This location is much smaller compare to the one in fort worth and Dallas but still a bunch of fun. They have some special occasion sometimes where they may be close to the public so just look for that. They also offer discounts on certain days but those are announce on their social media. read more

This is a must either with or with out kids. Inexpensive cover gets you all the game play you want which at a regular arcade would cost so much. They have classic vintage games, pinball, everything. We stayed for hours. The staff were so nice. The free refills on the craft soda was great. They also have drinks and food. Will definitely return on our next trip. read more

For JUST $12 per person, you get to spend the entire day playing all sorts of arcade games. They have old school video games, to an assortment of pinball machines. They have two bars as well. They do not offer food, but you are allowed to order from outside and bring in, they just ask you clean after yourselves. Okay this place is freaking cool. We literally left thinking how to bring a business like this home. First off, the place is HUGE. The biggest arcade I've ever been to. They have every game you could ever want to try. You buy the wristband and all games are free play which is fantastic, a great bang for your buck. You'll spend hours just looking at all the options because there's so much to chose from. I do wish they served beer as well (they only serve cider), but they did have some great cider flavors and options. The server in the back room was fantastic and super helpful all day. Went in with the family. The kids enjoyed it but it's mostly intended for older kids. My 6 year old was not doing much except for car race, air hockey and the some ball games and the rest of us enjoyed the classics and the newer games. We went at a good time because there wasn't a lot of people so we didn't feel pressure to get off a game quickly. There are lots of games and the place is clean. This has been the best Cidercade yet! I've been to a couple of locations, but I will say that this one is superior and a lot more spacious. As soon as I walk in I was greeted instantly. The bartenders were all super cool and let me try two of the ciders before I settled on the Acai one which was really good. It was $12 for all you can play! There were a lot more games in the Arlington location. Some notable games that I enjoyed were street fighter 6, time crisis 5, and the rhythm games! This location actually has two bars, billards, foot billards ping pong tables, and an absolutely huge shuffleboard area! All of their machines were working for the most part except a few. Bathrooms were clean which is a super bonus for me. There were a lot of spots where people can chill. There was even a lit disco room. Thatt was pretty dope to see. Location was very clean with a friendly staff and awesome staff. I think the only con I can think of is that it was super cold to me. You might want to bring a jacket if you get cold easy, but other than that, I highly recommend! read more

We've checked out almost every AYC play arcade in DFW and this is one of the best out there. Plenty of space and some nice additions like shuffle board. Wish that this place serves some snacks (although you are allowed to bring in food and there are plenty of places to eat within walking distance) Good selection of games including some high end games like Killer Queen and the grand daddy, Fast and Furious. One of the most intense games that we've played. As with most Cidercades, it gets pretty crowded on weekends. Overall, a great way to spend a day. read more

This was my first visit to a Cidercade. My wife and oldest had been to the one in Ft Worth, and while they had fun and rude employee when they came in had left a bad feeling in their guts. (That doesn't reflect on the Arlington one at all, just means we may avoid the Ft Worth one.) My wife came to check out the Arlington location during a Tax day special, and recommended that we come try this location out. So, we came up with our youngest for his end of school year fun outing. Staff was amazing at this location and they have a ton of space with lots of fun games. They encourage folks to support the nearby businesses and we saw a few people come in with pizza boxes from the pizza place nearby. They have a cider flight for $18 pre tax/tip, at the time I'm writing this, and that/s what my wife & I split on the drink end. They will let you taste 2-3 if you have a hard time comiting, and they are really knowledgeable on the flavors if you need some more information. So they want folks to be happy with what they get, even with having a flight. There is 40 items on tap if I remember correctly. They do give out water cups, and they have fountain drinks. Not name brand soda like Coke or Pepsi but I unfortunately can't recall the brand that they have. I'm thinking of trying that out next time we come. We will for sure keep the Arlington Cidercade as part of our rotation, be it for a friend hang out, date night or something to do with the kids. They do even have some rooms to rent if you want to reserve them for a party. This was my second time at any Cidercade, but first at the Arlington location. This location doesn't have a kitchen, so no pizza like the Fort Worth, but they were nicer about my keeping a water bottle in my bag than the other location. Also parking was a bit better than I remember the ft worth location being, but this lot has some competition with neighboring businesses. I came up at 10am and didn't have issues finding a spot but when I went to go grab a bite to eat around 11 I saw folks needing to make a bit of a walk. My gps also took me to the back of the building. Today admission was free due to a Tax day special, so I went ahead and got a cider to enjoy while there. The drinks come from Bishop. They will let you taste 2-3 if you can't make up your mind. This visit I went with the pineapple paradise, though the dreamcycle one really tempted me. For the games they have an awesome amount of games, though I did have my ball get stuck on a few of the pinball games. (Which is where you usually will find me at an arcade.) By myself I could comfortably hang for 2 hours with a break to grab a bite to eat either half way or as I'm leaving. With friends I could see hanging longer, with my youngest kids it really depends on how long he can hang at the games he's familiar with. My one tip would possibly be increase the Mario cart to more than the one I saw. They have some party rooms, pool, shuffle board and corn hole. A few things you need to check items out at the bar. What a terrific experience we had here for a team building event. Cidercade sells their in-house hard ciders and beers on tap and then invites you in to enjoy their old-school arcade games for one low price. This is King of the DFW Arcades, yet only features Bishop Ciders on tap. No food cooked here, but you can get delivery from surrounding area, and dine at Cidercade tables. "Cartel Taco Bar" is next door. And only 1 block away is Cane Russo premium wood-fired pizzas & Italian cuisine. I walked over to Cane Russo (means Red Dog in Italian), sat at their sports bar, stuffed myself with great Spaghetti & 3 Meatballs, plus Caesar salad. After this, my gaming reflexes slowed down, a bit. I returned to Cidercade, went to the back bar, way in back with the suffleboard courts, bought a Bishop Cider, and borrowed a chair. I then battled the ASTEROIDS game, which was in very good condition. The game is limited to 99,990 points, then resets back to Zero. My best game was 184,000 points. My best personal game in life is 726,000 points, on the Asteroids at RETROCADE in Rowlett, TX. I got here late on Sunday, I had already spent hours at Cidercade Dallas, a smaller facility. Staff told me that my wristband would be honored at Arlington that day, so I drove the 26 miles! Arlington Cidercade is massive, massive, massive! That should cover it... every type of machine I ever played, plus some I never seen before. Big pinpall alley. Many multi player games if you are with friends. Ping Pong? Tables, with rubber ball & paddles... I was geeking so hard, it annoyed them, so I moved on LOL Anyways, you could spend a whole day here, and not play every machine, game, etc. Arlington, Dallas, Austin, and Houston Cidercade locations await you! read more

This place is PACKED WITH NEARLY all arcade machines we could think of, spread in about 4 rooms (I didn't really count) with connecting hallways, also lined with arcade games along the wall. Machines are clean & appear to be well-maintained, with only about 4-5 out-of-order machines in entire place, which didn't really matter. They also have shuffle room, pool tables, &'party rooms. I saw an ad for a Halloween event there, so I tried to call and ask a few questions. A robot answered and informed me no humans there take calls, so I was expected to text message them with any questions. Lmao, what? In addition to being cheap, terrible, lazy service, this is also creepy as hell. I don't wanna text with a rando to ask questions about a business establishment that's so cheap and lazy, it's in their business model to not answer their phones. Another strike against this place - they don't accept cash. If you're one of those people who likes to pay cash as you go rather than starting a tab because you tend to forget your card or you're not comfortable letting a third party hold onto your card - sucks to be you! Third strike - they don't even have a full bar. Fourth strike - "Family friendly" by day = infested with annoying children. Since they're only open until midnight, and they don't kick the damn kids out until 9, that gives adult patrons a grand total of three hours, and we can't even get real alcohol. This place is a joke. It's like they couldn't decide whether they wanted to be Chuck E Cheese or Dave and Busters, so they took the absolute worst of both, and added a few additional annoyances for funsies. Great afternoon with the boys at the Cidercade. We had a blast with the variety of vintage and new games, especially the pinball games! We tried our hand at shuffle board, broke a few balls in the ping pong cages and laughed when I tried to show my kids how to play dig dug like back in the day. Lots of places to set your drink down while playing, the fountain drinks are refillable but the cups are tiny and my kids kept leaving them and lost them. It was still a good time! read more

Took my little 9 year old niece to play on Sunday! Was not crowded at all! First game we hit was Basketball where the timer and start button did not work and the basketballs were all pretty shot some had holes in them! I thought this place was pretty new! The Skeeball machine had balls out but you couldn't start up a game just kept rolling balls out!! Not very fun! Very disappointed for first time there! A friend threw their birthday at this location, and I was very much looking forward to it, based on my experiences at the Dallas location. The location is pretty great, and I have to sing praise of the size of this location. It is a behemoth compared to the Dallas Cidercade. I even loved the tucked away room with the rainbow light arch near the back. The birthday party started right around opening, so it was pretty dead, leaving plentiful options for our party to choose from. It was pretty great. However, upon arrival, I spaced and ordered a drink from Starbucks before coming here. I've worked as a hostess, server, and a cashier at a gas station, so I'm quite familiar with TABC laws. When I went to the front to pay for admission, I was told by the associate that I couldn't bring my drink in. I realized in that moment that I wasn't supposed to bring it in, with Cidercade being an establishment that sells alcohol and strict laws against bringing in outside drinks. In that moment, I remarked out loud "I just bought this drink," simply expressing my thoughts. I did not intend or suggest that I bring this drink in, but before I could even say that I would go back to leave the drink in my car, the associate loops in her manager, Brittany, right next to her. Brittany very abruptly and quite frankly, in a condescending manner, demanded that I am not to drink the Starbucks in due to TABC laws. I honestly felt embarrassed because of her attitude towards me in front of other customers. I understand that it was a serious matter and that they probably have to recite this 100 times to other customers, but for Brittany to treat me as if I was trying to sneak a drink in even though it was never my intent, nor did I even ask, to bring my drink in, made me feel guilty for something I didn't even do. I understand that as a manager, it is your job to protect the establishment, especially when it comes to legal matters. But Brittany treating me like a delinquent before I even enter the establishment was a huge buzzkill and made it hard for me to enjoy myself. Completely defeated the purpose of me coming here and spending money. This won't prevent me from going to other CIdercades, but I likely won't return to this location just to avoid Brittany's aggressive attitude. read more
