My son and granddaughters were meeting us for a Rangers game and this is where we decided to meet. I had never been here before, but it was a very good experience overall! We got there early and decided to go ahead and grab a table and relax. This is a quintessential sports bar. I have never seen more televisions in one place anywhere. I ordered the Jack's Trio, which is basically you choose three appetizers and they make a platter out of it. I chose Mozzarella Bites, Southwest Egg-rolls, and Loaded Potato Skins. Everything was delicious and something I would get again. It was a LOT of food for I think was 18.99. I was hungry and still probably only ate half of it. Loved the spot. Very reasonably priced and close to the stadium! I ordered the shrimp & fries. A server suggested that I try the Cajun ranch dry run in the shrimp & it was a good choice. They are a popular spot on home game nights. We visited on Saturday to watch games & returned Sunday to do the same. We caught the shuttle from Boomer's to the stadium. It is required that you spend $50 minimum to ride their shuttle. The shuttle takes you to and from the game. We walked back due to traffic and long waiting but it was t a huge distance. read more

When it comes to bar/grill vibes Boomerjacks is definitely one of my favs in Arlington. It's not fine dining but they have some yummy options that hit just right with excellent prices on drinks. Good for a casual date before a ball game, or a chill family dinner before a movie next door. It's not a smoky hole in the wall bar, it's approachable and clean. My spouse and I were out of town on vacation in Arlington for the Grand Prix. We wanted to go somewhere local and this was the only place that was pretty much open at the time (10:00pm). We thought this place would have good vibes since it is a sports bar as stated online. As soon as we arrived the host was not very welcoming and just kind of stared at me until I said "for 2" then sped walked us to a booth. When our server came, I tried ordering a Surfside Vodka seltzer from the drink menu and she had no idea what i was talking about. I pointed it out to her on the menu and she came back and said "we don't have that". okay no problem, i ordered a black cherry white claw. When the vibes got weird was when my spouse tried to order the Sunday drink special on the menu which was $2 domestic. First of all, the server didn't even mention the special at our arrival so it must have been her first day because it seemed like she really didn't know the menu. Dangerous place to be late in the evening with increasing crime in the area and an increased number of over served customers. The management team at this location has marginal knowledge about how to do their jobs. On game day by spending $50 or more we got to park for free. Great deal as it's only a 10 minute walk, if that much, to the stadium. I ordered a a cup of soup but the food delivery included a bowl of soup. When I brought that to her attention, she said "I don't know, all I do is bring the food." I asked if she would tell our server, then waited five minutes, but the server didn't come, so I began eating the soup, so it did not get cold. When our server arrived, she was very understanding and apologized for the mistake, and also indicated that the person that brought the food did not bring it to her attention. Their Modelos were just $4 on Saturday evenings. For an appetizer, we had the spring roll. They were very good with a pretty good dipping sauce. For my entrée I ordered the fried shrimp basket with fries. READ BEFORE GOING HERE!!! My friends and I visited this place during our weekend trip in Dallas because it was within walking distance of our Air BnB. We went there on Saturday for lunch and had some food and drinks. The food was good for some of us, and very disappointing for others. At one point, one of the managers came up to us and asked if we wanted to buy $2 Jell-O shots to support cancer research. We bought them and quickly realized that there was clearly no alcohol in them at all. The manager then came back over to our group later on and said if we give the restaurant a 5-star review on Google, he would give us a token for a free drink up to $7.50 that we could use the following morning before the football game. He also said they have a shuttle that could bring us to the stadium. That sounded like a great deal so we gave the reviews and got the tokens. The next day, we went back to the restaurant to have lunch again before the football game and to use our drink tokens. When we told our server we would like to use our tokens she kind of rolled her eyes and stated that they could only be used after 10pm and told us to look at the back of the token. In very small and faded text, the token did say "after 10pm". We asked to speak with the manager, but the one from the prior day was not working. The manager from the prior day specifically told us we should come back the next day for lunch before the football game to use the tokens. So we were a little irritated that he straight up lied to us hoping we didn't read the faded text on the token. Fast forward to after the football game, we decided that since the restaurant was so close to our Air BnB, we would come back after 10pm to finally redeem our drink tokens. Upon returning to the restaurant around 10:30 or 11:00, we were greeted by the manager who lied to us about the tokens. We started joking and laughing around with him about how he tricked us with the tokens the prior day. He cracked a smile and snickered, clearly acknowledging that he misled us and said "What does the token say?". During this interaction, the faces of the other workers nearby made it clear that this manager pulls this trick regularly. My friends and I really weren't upset about it at all and were just happy to laugh it off and finally redeem our tokens. As the manager grabbed menus to walk us to our table, he says "You guys won't be able to redeem those tokens though. We won't be serving you guys any drinks tonight." At first we genuinely thought he was joking, but then he said he was serious. I guess we hurt his ego by calling out his shady tactics in front of his employees. We immediately said that we were leaving and one of my friends called the manager a scumbag. As we walked out into the parking lot, a security guard followed us for probably 30 yards into the parking lot, screaming and said he was going to taze us. Don't be fooled by the high ratings that this place has on Google, as they are clearly bribing customers into giving the reviews. The shady manager was an overweight Muslim looking man with a black beard. He may be the only bad apple in the joint, but I would not risk running into this individual. Save your money and go to the many other respectable restaurants in the area. read more

This happened just 5 hours ago, and I'm still upset about it. My wife and I came in with our 6-month-old daughter on the night of the Canelo vs Crawford fight. While waiting for our table, we stepped away for just one minute to make a bottle for our baby. In that short time, they called our name, and when we came back, the manager was incredibly rude and refused to seat us. Instead of showing even a little understanding for parents with an infant, the manager acted as if we had done something wrong. We explained the situation, but they wouldn't budge and told us we had to leave. The lack of empathy and professionalism was shocking, especially on a big night when we were looking forward to enjoying ourselves. Restaurants should know how to treat customers with respect--especially families with young children. Myself and black 2 males walked in with me after a Cowboys game. So of course it is busy. We asked if there was 3 spots at the bar and were told there might not be but can go look. There were 2 open spots and we saw another white guy standing behind his party that was sitting at the bar so we thought it would be okay. When we sat down someone named Neil said we couldn't sit there because the standing party was a fire hazard. The standing party was a Black male. I asked why the White male who was also standing at the bar was able and the response was that he was a regular. We cooperated and got up to see if there was other spots outside to which Neil followed us and said we were not welcome and had to leave. As we walked out, I again asked why he was allowed to stand there and why we were being asked to leave when all we were doing was looking for open bar seating. Again I was told we were no longer welcome, had to leave and the other guy was allowed to stand because he's a regular and knows where to stand. Look, at the end of the day a fire hazard is a fire hazard and we should have never been asked to move if the other guy was allowed to stay.
