I think I just found my honeycomb hideout spot. After leaving my chiropractor appointment in the Highlands, I felt like treating myself to a good dinner. None of the usuals sounded appetizing so I hopped on Yelp for suggestions. Luckily, The Addy popped up in my top 3 choices, the reviews looked great and the hot lemon pepper catfish grabbed my attention. Upon arrival, I saw that it was a cozy place, nestled between a few other businesses in a strip mall situation. The greeter was very polite and sat me quickly. I didn't take any photos inside because it felt intimate and I didn't want to film anyone without their consent. Anywho, I ordered the smash burger, fries and one hot lemon pepper catfish (not swai) fillet. Food was fantastic and the portion size was great. Service here wasn't bad. Our server checked on us frequently. The place is cute and small. It has a very and clean restroom with I love. Drinks weren't amazing but they weren't nasty. I started to feel a buzz after two of them. The menu had nice selections and variety. I ordered buffalo lemon pepper catfish with onion rings and my friend got wings. The catfish didn't taste bad but mine was a lil overcooked or cooked and put under the heat light. Just didn't seem the freshest. The onion rings were literally so good though. Perfect breading! The vibes are set with music and sports going on the tvs. I intend to order the brisket fries but I came right before closing so they were sold out.. I got the wings and fried catfish.. Like many others, TikTok pointed me in the direction of this spot--specifically for the catfish. I tried to go one evening, but the kitchen closes 30 minutes before the restaurant does (which was totally fine). I believe it was the owner or manager who greeted me--he was super nice and even tried to see if the kitchen could still make me something. Unfortunately, they couldn't, but I appreciated the effort. I came back another day earlier and finally got to try the catfish along with the onion rings. The onion rings were a solid 10/10--crispy, flavorful, and cooked just right. Now for the catfish... While it is real catfish and fried to perfection, the fillets themselves are not seasoned before being battered. The only seasoning is on the batter after it's been fried, which means the flavor is hit-or-miss. You only taste seasoning on the parts where it sticks. I don't really understand that approach. So, my three-star rating is mainly because the catfish lacks proper seasoning, and unfortunately, that makes all the difference. read more

We had the 2 pc catfish dipped in Buffalo lemon pepper with onion rings and omgggggg it was soooo good! It was hot and fresh & actually real fish! We have found our new spot! Tiffany waited on us and was very attentive to all of our needs. The DJ was on point, Mike (the owner) make you feel like an old friend, and the food is so good. I admit I was hesitant at first to go into the place. It really is t the most inviting storefront. But the reviews were great and I was hungry for wings so I took a deep breath and decided to take my chances. Upon entering the place was rustic but sparkling clean. It definitely feels more like a bar than restaurant. The fantastic staff greeted me warmly and made me feel at home. I was seated at a small table and reviewed the small menu. (Note that I prefer places with somewhat limited menus. They focus more on quality dishes than doing everything mediocre.) I settled on wings and their two piece catfish platter with fries. I watched several sports channels as I waited for my lunch. The meal took a bit to come out, but again I find this as a sign of the quality of the food. When it did come out I was impressed. The catfish was true catfish with that very slightly muddy taste real wild catfish have. Served with a sauce and hot sauce and was crispy, flaky and not at all greasy. Fries were great. Crisp with fluffy centers. I got the Parmesan Garlic wings and enjoyed them. As well. My server was wonderful. Friendly and attentive without hovering. A good price for a meal I couldn't finish.
