We walked in and ran straight outside to the patio, the inside smells like an old dirty ashtray…read more it's the kind of place that you go inside and have to go home and wash your clothes and hair. We were already there so we decided to have a drink on the patio. there is absolutely no ambiance there. We just sat down at a picnic table in the shade. Our server was super nice, she brought drinks outside for us however we did have to go get her and let her know we were not coming inside to order because of the smoke. We did not eat here for the same reason we sat outside. If you are a smoker this place may be for you!

I came in with my friends during the storm and the pub was still pretty busy. Turns out there is trivia on Thursdays. We stayed for trivia, lost horribly but had a great time. Michelle was the server on deck this evening and she was fast and got our orders correct! We ordered Mac and cheese, the sheppies(3 pieces), and the seafood basket. The Mac and cheese was a very large meal. It had white cheese and looked really tasty. The sheppies were tasty, mash potatoes, cheese, gravy, and meat. As for the seafood basket, the fish and shrimp sizes were nice, I felt the fish was a little fishy, the fries were meh, the shrimp were tasty. The tartar sauce was unique as it had dill in it.

So glad I found this place tonight! It's refreshing to have a craft beer bar not only in Arlington…read morebut especially in Pantego! With a great beer list it's impossible to dislike! I was a little hesitant to enter the bar at first I won't lie because it seems almost unwelcoming but once you enter you feel right at home. The bartender immediately acknowledged us, grabbed a menu, and told us all of the specials. The list was extensive with all types of beers included, not just IPAs. I chose one of my favorite sour beers and my boyfriend chose a wit beer. We sat down at a table to listen to the live music. I normally hate live music in enclosed spaces(yes I am super old) but the sound was not so loud it interrupted conversation and the artist played great music. He took requests and really read the crowd's attitude. When I wanted a second beer, the bartender was extremely accommodating. He listened to the beers I tend to prefer, suggested beers, and let us try anything. That is key to a great craft beer bar. There was no entitlement or I am better than you attitude. They want you to enjoy and try while feeling like family. There is also a coffee shop in the bar which I would love to go back and try. The barista there said they are even talking about filling growlers! I am excited to become a regular here!

They brew their own beer (I think?) and keep the taps rotating with an interesting mix. The back patio could use a little TLC, but inside, it's warm and welcoming. Open mics, scavenger hunts, D&D, movies, karaoke, live bands. The crowd is inclusive and eclectic, as are the staff.

We met here with friends recently, and all agreed this is much needed addition to the Texas Live!…read morefamily. Revolver Brewing BLDG5 Brewery and Tap Room is tucked away near the Miller Tavern and Beer Garden. It offers a much needed lounge area with comfortable seating, a warm atmosphere, and an insteresting list of beers. Ask about their pickled eggs, pickled sausage, and smoked meats/jerky @ the bar!

Then as things were nearing completion, I remember seeing a couple of employees somewhere and asking about it, and they said that it would be in "phase two". Then sometime later, I remember a construction guy telling me, "there ain't no phase two, what you see with Texas Live is what you got, there isn't going to be any expansion". I could never find anything out. Then about six months or so, someone who works there told me it was being built in the corner, and would be open soon. I figured I'd believe it when I saw it, and now it's here. It's a nice space, with a separate entrance. Really went upscale more than you would see in most taprooms. I think only the Choctaw Lounge is nicer, and you can't hardly get into that place. The bar top is almost as long as the room, lots of stools. A good amount of pub type tables, and a larger community table, along with some low height chairs and tables. All pretty nice furniture. Couple of roll up doors open into the patio during nicer weather. My couple visits, I've seen several beers that I've never seen on tap anywhere else. Revolver is supposed to be doing several beers for this location only. Lot's of different beers, and this is probably the only place you'll see with this many of their beers on tap at any given time. I've done the brewery events in Granbury and they usually have maybe 6-8 beers on tap. I'm seeing 10-15 different beers on tap here. You can also get food in here, most of it items from Lockhart BBQ. But there are a couple things unique to the taproom, including the chili. The chili is pretty good, but the jalapeno cornbread is fantastic. Anyway, really nice, great place to hang out. Plenty of TV's and usually some decent music in the background. Prices are higher, which is expected because of the location, but I've paid about $7-$10 for different beers. Looking forward to more special beers. Too bad all the beer snobs hate Revolver, some good new stuff in here.
